Seaside Shore

The other day I ran across some wonderful cards that I set aside to share with you and totally lost track of. Do you ever do that? I always think I’ll put it someplace safe so I’ll remember, but then I can’t find it! Sigh.

The good news is I found them now, so I’ll be sharing these and other wonderful cards that I’ve received in swaps over the next few weeks.

Today’s cards use the Seaside Shore stamp set found on page 93 of the Annual Catalog. It’s filled with wonderful bold images and a fun sentiment too. Perfect as we head into the warmer months.

This first card  was done in classic Black & White and includes lots of texture. I’ve included the supply list for you below.

And how about another monochromatic card done in Bermuda Bay – so bright and vibrant!

And here is another card Sandy gave me in a different swap using the set. It is a fancy fold – I really like the way she used the patterns to show off the stamped images.

Sandy made 3 cards with totally different looks using the same set – don’t you love that?

Anna made this wonderful birthday card using the Stylized Birthday (141828) as it’s focal point.

And my final card was given to me by Mary. I love the way she used Butterfly Basics (13881/138816/137154) image for the background netting. How cool is that?

Wood Words & More

Yesterday I shared my team On Stage Live Stream Event and some of the projects we made – today I’m going to share the Make n Takes that we were able to make at On Stage in Savannah.

This first little goodie is made with the Wood Words stamp set (143925/14928) from the 2017 Annual Catalog and the fun Wood Crate Framelits Dies (143730).

This fun little crate holds 3×3 note cards.

You are going to LOVE this new Wood Textures Designer Series Paper (144177) when you see it – it’s double sided so all your projects look like wood through and through!

And here is a card made with the Delightful Daisy Suite.

and this card was made with the Color Theory suite of products.

And our final project we made uses the adorable Birthday Memories Suite of products –

This little fox is the cutest thing!

As I mentioned yesterday, the On Stage Product Premiere Preorder of  products from the New 2017 Annual Catalog is a perk of being a demonstrator – If you’d like to be the first to get some of the NEW 2017 In Colors AND get a discount now is a wonderful time to join. Team time mean sharing and so I thought I’d show you some of the wonderful projects my team has been making.

Cindy brought these adorable little cups for everyone to the On Stage Live Stream Event that was held the Friday before Easter.

And here are some of the wonderful swaps that they brought to share.

This first card was made by Deborah and use some of the Retirment List products such as Oh So Succulent stamp set (142992), Designer Series Paper and Lace Doilies.

And how about this sweet card using the Endless Wishes sentiment (140273) and Balloon Builders (140645) stamp sets that area part of the retirement list.

And this final card is from Christy, the newest member of our team.

It uses the Butterfly Basics (138813/138816/137154) and our Decorative Label Punch (120907) done in soft lovely colors for spring.

Succulent Post It Note Holders

I found these cute little post it note holders a while back in the dollar spot at Target and couldn’t resist whipping up some holders using the Succulent Framelits Dies.

So what do you think? These little sticky pads measure 3 1/4″ x 2 1/4″ and I started my project by using the colors in them to kick off my creativity.

While both pads measure the same the colors were different so I made them a bit differently too.

I chose to go with two succulents for this one.

And a bold Sahara Sand succulent on the other

Check out this quick video to see how I made the Succulent Easel Post it Holder

If you would like to see how I made the 3d succulent you can CLICK HERE to view my How to Make a 3d Succulent Video Tutorial along with a fun frame I made using these dies too!

I’ve got the complete supply list below for you.

Team Time Fun – On Stage Style!

One of the things I love to do is share the excitement of a Stampin’ Up! event and On Stage is no different. So recently we gathered to share in the excitement of our On Stage Savannah experience. I’d brought  back LOTS of goodies and projects to share.

Friday night the classroom was set up for a fun evening.

I was able to share the table decorations with everyone from On Stage – Savannah in addition to our Make ‘n Takes we made at the event. (Stop by tomorrow and I’ll share those with you then. LOL!).

We kicked off by gathering for a meal of soup and salad – and watched Sara’s welcome and a bit of the creative projects too.

Cindy and Deborah out did themselves with some special home made desserts – Strawberry Cake and Raspberry Crisp – yum

And everyone on my team was greeted and received a special little token from Savannah.

These little crates are adorable! These little shot glasses were packaged in one of our new dies – can you see it packaged in the cellophane bag?

And the shot glasses make a perfect holder for your Multipurpose Glue – simply set it inside to always keep the glue at the tip!

Yes, it’s that simple – and you should have seen my husband’s face when he saw 9 shot glasses all in a row! Priceless.

They also received some cute little bangle that I made for them celebrating the new catalog. I had such fun shopping for the beads to match our new In Colors and putting these together!

Yes, that is Shrinky Dinks again – this time I made a 2017-2018 Annual Catalog charm

And for those that attended our Live Stream Event I made a second charm to remember it by – Fun! I love to pamper my team!

On to the main event – make n takes with NEW 2017 In Colors and Annual Catalog products! Yeah!

Want to see what we made? I fell in love with the Color Theory Suite of products and this little chair from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies (143751) when I saw it.

And since I was going for a beach feel (Savannah – get it LOL!) I thought the By the Shore Designer Series Paper was a perfect background.

This next card I used our Daisy Punch that I received at On Stage. Along with some of the other products from the Delightful Daisy Suite. I love the new Tranquil Tide, 2017 In Color and I can’t wait for you to see these Faceted Gems! What a wow they add to projects.

And finally a card using a wonderful stamp set  Ribbon of Courage inspired by Patty Bennett, one of our recent Million Sales Achievers. I was so excited when I was able to bring this home with me from Savannah! After all who of us hasn’t had or know someone we care about who has been affected by cancer of some type.

I wanted something soft so I started with our NEW 2017 In Color Powder Pink and teamed it up with my favorite new In Color Berry Burst. The ribbon is embossed in White and I used a Blender Pen and Berry Burst to highlight the flowers. After I went back and used our Clear Wink of Stella to highlight some of the swirls and add a bit of shimmer. I really like the way it turned out.

We finished up our evening with a selfie!

So what do you think? Love the new items too? It’s just a peek of what’s inside the 2017 Annual Catalog! And as I am sure you can guess, being the first to see this new catalog or any of our new catalogs is a very exciting AND a  huge perk of being a Demonstrator – after all who wouldn’t want to be first? Right!  Add the fact that you’ll receive a discount on all these products and you can’t loose! Foxy Friends Thank You’s

Today’s card is one that I created for my April Thank You’s. It was inspired by my team mate Cindy’s card that she brought for our swap at our monthly meeting.

I love the way she created multiple cards using the 6×6 stack of A Little Foxy Designer Series Paper (141637) which is perfect for making lots of cards. So I set to work making some too but I changed it up a little bit – This is called casing or CASE (Copy and Share Everything). After all you don’t have to reinvent the wheel. LOL!

I ended making two different designs since I couldn’t decide which I liked best.

And I made a bunch of them for April’s Thank You’s!

Want to make some of your own? Well – how about a PDF tutorial to make things easy?

Succulent Garden Team Gifts

I love to make special little gifts for my team and I thought I’d share the Succulent Garden frame with you today along with a quick video showing you how I made it.

I’ve love the soft colors in the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper so that is where I started with my project since they seemed to coordinate well with our On Stage logo for this spring. I even personalized the logo with Savannah and the year so that when they take the cardboard piece out to put the photo in they can turn it around and always have the information right there on the back! (After all I have a hard time remember where and when photos were taken after a few years. How about you?)

I also made name tags for our bags.

After all with hundreds of the same bag running around, you want to identify yours quickly right? Especially since it is packed with lots of goodies!!!

Yep, I had all this in my bag to bring home! I love being a demonstrator and attending Stampin’ Up! events!!!

And did you notice? I had a bit of beading fun too! I used blue beads since we are the Blue Mountain Stampers (makes sense, right?) and

I found some special charms to go along with our choice of On Stage location. And check out these cute little On Stage logos using Shrinky Dinks of all things! What fun it was watching them shrink from their original 2″ size down to these tiny charms – brings out the kid in me. LOL! I love spoiling my team and Deborah was pleasantly surprised to find this little Team Gift on her bed in the hotel the first evening.

Okay, you ready to learn how I made the frame? I’ve got two video tutorials for you and a complete supply list if you scroll down to the end.
