Watts the Occasion?

Have you seen this fun and quirky stamp set from the Annual Catalog? Watts the Occasion covers a number of occasions, so it is a wonderful set that can be used year round.

Here are some wonderful cards I received in my  swap using this stamp set.

Can you name that Designer Series Paper? It’s the Coffee Break Designer Series Paper that coordinates with our Coffee Break suite of products (page 30 of the Annual Catalog). As you can see this paper is wonderfully versatile.

How do you make the filament a different color when it is all one stamp? It’s simply ink the image in Night of Navy Classic Ink, take a Blender Pen and remove the ink from the filament, and then use a Real Red Stampin’ Write Marker to color the filament red. Breath to revitalize the ink and stamp! Want to try it? I’ve included the complete supply list for this card below for you.

And here is another card done using our Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack (144177).

And how about this fun holiday card using the Be Merry Designer Series paper (144111).

As you can see one set = lot’s of different style cards! Isn’t that one of the wonderful parts of stamping? Why not leave me a comment below and let me know which card you like best?

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Watts the Occasion (143864/143867)

Inks: Night of Navy (126970)

Paper: Coffee Break Designer Series Paper (144155), Early Espresso (119686), Pear Pizzazz (), Soft Sky (131203), Garden Green (102584), and Whisper White Card stock (100730)

Painted Autumn Post it Note Holder Tutorial

Last month I shared with you a cute little post it note holder that my friend Cindy made. You can see more about that HERE. They were so cute I wanted to make some of my own and here is what I came up with.

I love this Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper – the patterns are just lovely and I thought the small leaf pattern was just perfect for this project. What do you think?

They are fairly simple to make and a lot of fun too –  So today I thought I’d show you how she made them.

Painted Autumn Post It Note Holder Video Tutorial

Please Note: The photo shown uses Pear Pizzazz Card stock and the project in the video uses Garden Green. Each one works well with the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper since it pulls out different shades.

Enjoy!

This first card uses the Merry Music Specialty Designer Series Paper (144623) and Gold Foil Sheets (132622). And don’t you love the Real Red 1/8″ Solid Ribbon (144631)? Thin ribbons are always great to have on had during the holidays.

Tips for using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set

Today’s card is made using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set and there are a couple of things that will make you more successful when you use this set. So today not only will I be sharing the tutorial for the Holiday Catalog Kick Off Make n Take, but I’ve also got a little video for you sharing some basics for this stamp set.

First here is the card that we made.

I love the way that this set has a built in watercolor feel to it – and it has quickly become one of my favorites to use with it’s pretty font. I used Fresh Fig for the flowers on this card and love the richness of the color.

Want the instructions to make this card? Well here is the tutorial

2017 Color Rings

This week I’ll be sharing with you the projects and items we made from my Holiday Catalog Kick Off a couple of weeks ago.

Want to see one of the goodies those who attended my Holiday Catalog Kick Off received when they placed a qualifying order?

It’s a Color Ring – containing all 50 current Stampin’ Up! colors!!!

It’s been awhile since the Color Refresh in 2013 when I did these the last time, and mine was looking pretty tattered. Everyone loved them then, so I thought why not do one again?

These rings are wonderful to carry with you when your out shopping and/or trying to match colors for a project.  I’ve got one that I carry in my purse that I’ve had for years. (You can click HERE to see that blog post.)

These were so popular that I thought others might enjoy having one too.

Is this something that you’d like to have in craft room? Or so you can carry with you too? Want to make one of these for yourself?  Well it’s easy. All you need is my organization file folder labels that I’ve posted HERE and some card stock.

These little rings are 2″ x 3″ and hold all 4 of our Color Collections in addition to the 2 sets of In Colors.

Color Ring – Two Great Options:

Want one but don’t want to make one yourself? That’s OK – you have 2 options you can choose from. But don’t delay because these 2017 Color Rings are only available while supplies last!

Option 1: Place an order with me during the month of September for $50 or more in product and use the Host Code RDZGJVPC and I’ll mail one to you for free! ( You know you will be ordering any ways with all the wonderful NEW products found in the Holiday Catalog!)

Option 2: Just click the PayPal button to purchase one from me for just $10 (including postage) and I’ll mail it out to you lickety split! (I know you can make it – But will you? Let me save you the time!)

Then stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing a video tutorial with you for a cute little treat!
