Team time at OnStage

Today’s projects are some fun ones that I always enjoy doing when we have a Stampin’ Up! event for my team. And I’m excited to be heading for our OnStage Local in Charlotte this weekend. What could be better than spending time with others who love stamping?

However when you are with hundreds of other demonstrators who all have the same bag – I find it is fun to have yours easily identifiable with a special name tag. So here is what I came up with for our Charlotte event.

I love the little charms I’ve added to the tag too. They are so much fun to make – and I found some beads that I think went nicely with what I expect to be some of our new 2019-2021 In Colors!

After the event they can be added to our key chains if they’d like. And to help them jot down all the great ideas – everyone needs a note book and pen. I used our Crafting Forever stamp set (14955/143958) and the Layering Circles Framelits Dies (141705) to create the sentiment.

And I used the sentiment set from Sale-a-bration for the inside. I am truly blessed by my Team, they inspire me every time we gather.

I’ll be sharing a tutorial for these when I get back – they were so much fun to make! I’m afraid I just ran out of time this week.

And finally some post its so that we can flag all those new products that we want! I know this years Annual Catalog is going to be a great one. (I’m sure my shopping list will be a long one) – I can’t wait to see it!

I really like the way that the note pad and flag holders turned out. They were made with a demonstrator supply folder that I cut apart. I love the flowers so I was happy I was able to make the flowers on the front of the folder the focal point, and the back of the folder had our logo which was perfect for the flags I thought.

I had planned on sharing a video tutorial with you today of the final gift, but my IPad apparently didn’t like something I did since the file is corrupted, so I’ll be sharing that with you next week as soon as I can re film the project.

Enjoy your weekend and stop back by next week to see the OnStage fun and a sneak peek at the new 2019 Annual Catalog.

Speaking of which The Annual Catalog is right around the corner and I won’t be able to mail you one if you have chosen no contact in the Online Store.

Tea Together & more

Today’s projects were all part of this month’s Team Swaps – I love the variety of projects that my team always shares and so I wanted to share them with you too!

This first one uses the Tea Together stamp set (148779), Rectangle Stitched Framelits Dies (148551) that you can find in the Occasions Catalog along with our Tufted Embossing Folder (146335).

If you love this card you’ll be happy to know if you didn’t get the coordinating Tea Time Framelits Dies for FREE during Sale-a-bration, they will be available again in June since they are part of the 2019 Annual Catalog. So you can get the set now and start stamping and then get the dies later!

And do you recognize where the word love is from? It’s from our Well Written Framelits Dies (148534) If you haven’t seen this bundle of products found on page 27 of the Occasions Catalog you’ll want to check it out. It’s a wonderful set of sentiments and dies that make up endless options.

This next card uses a favorite set of mine Dandelion Wishes (146744/146747)

along with the Subtle Embossing Folder (143706) – if you don’t have this folder you’ll want it since it adds just a touch of texture to any project! The pop of Lovely Lipstick matting this focal point is lovely with the Grapefruit Grove. A combination I wouldn’t have thought of.

And how about this fun Cross Over Gate Fold Butterfly Gala (148580) card?

I love the way it opens – I can’t wait to try this fold soon –

And now for the 3d projects – I always love the fact we can create great little gifts like these with paper and ink!

Easter is right around the corner and this little kiss basket is perfect

and this little basket made with our Scallop Tag Topper Punch (133324)

If you are looking for a great group to craft with and share my team the Blue Mountain Stampers may be the right place for you. We love welcoming new crafters, you can click HERE for more information about joining. And of course I’m happy to answer any questions you may have too!

Speaking of my Team, stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some of the projects I’m making for our OnStage event in Charlotte.

Are you eligible for a FREE Stampin’ Up! 2019 Annual Catalog?

I’m currently working on my mailing list for shipping the 2019 Annual Catalogs (and will be finalizing it by April 25th)

You’ll be the first to get one (around late May) if:

  • Are you a frequent customer of mine? If you ordered a minimum of $50 from me in the last three months (or 90 days) you are eligible to receive FREE Stampin’ Up! Catalogs.

Do you have a Stampin’ Trimmer?

The Retirement List will be available Monday, April 15th  and the Stampin’ Trimmer will be included on the list along with all it’s accessories

  • Our Stampin’ Trimmer is Retiring, so if you need Blades or any other accessories, purchase them now before they sell out.

Right now you can order 3 sets of replacement blades per order. Starting April 15th, this number will increase to 6. Then over the next few months, there will be small batches of inventory arriving and it’s anticipated to be depleted rapidly. When those few small batches are sold out, that will be the end of this product line. (All items will be turned off and back on in my Online Store as shipments arrive. Stampin’ Up! will not be doing back orders for these items.)

Big Changes are coming and I’m so excited!

I’ll be sharing more about this when I return from OnStage next week, so I’m going to keep this short, but I wanted you to hear it from me so you know what is happening before Monday’s Retirement List posts.

  • The Big Shot will NOT be in the NEW 2019 Annual Catalog and WILL be on the Retirement List. (Good news and no worries tho, dies and folders will still work with any new system that Stampin’ Up! introduces)

This announcement DOES NOT mean that the entire product line of dies and folders are also being discontinued. There will be some  that are retiring with the catalog as normal.

This happens every year, but some will also carry over into the 2019 Annual Catalog.

  • Our Dies and Folders will be changing and be the high quality you have come to expect from Stampin’ Up!, and they will have new shorter names. Yippie!

On the Monday, April 15th the Retirement List will come out. We already know that the 2017-2019 In Colors will definitely be on that list, and the items listed above. If these are items you want, PLEASE don’t wait until the 15th!

Poppin’ Birthday Card Tutorial

I loved the projects that came in the March Paper Box AND the additional stamp set too. What a great value and all the cutting and work was done for me all I had to do was assemble. Of course after that what do you do with all those goodies that are left over? Make something with them of course.

So today’s project uses the stamp set from the kit.

The kit came with the Poppy Parade ink spot so I started there – I added a couple of our great punch shapes and some Poppy Parade and Blueberry Bushel card stock.

So quick and easy to create a bunch of these cards. Check out my quick video tutorial

And of course, a PDF so you can make one too.

#imbringingbirthdaysback & it’s a Piece of Cake

Today’s card is one that I made for this month’s birthday cards. I enjoy sending happy mail to my friends and family each month. I know that it’s a great feeling to go to the mail box and get something besides circulars and bills. How about you?

The Piece of Cake stamp set also has a coordinating Cake Builder Punch, but I didn’t use it for this card. Instead I chose to use my Stamparatus since it made stamping this project soooo easy.

Here is a quick video tutorial for you

Storage by Stampin’ Up! Q&A

  • Will old design Stampin’ Pads fit in the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Tray?

No. The Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays are designed to fit our new-design Stampin’ Pads only.

  • How high can I stack storage trays?

We stacked up to 50 storage trays without any issues, BUT we would not recommend stacking that high. While our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are sturdy, the higher you stack them, the less stable they’ll become. Use your discretion when stacking.

  • Can I mount my Storage by Stampin’ Up! products on the wall?

No. Our modular storage products are designed to sit on a table (or similar flat surface).

  • How should I use the Open Storage Cube?

The Open Storage Cube can be used to hold any miscellaneous items like ribbon, embellishments, and small punches. For more inspiration on ways to use items from our Storage by Stampin’ Up! product line, check out the configuration chart we created.

  • Can I mix and match Storage by Stampin’ Up! products?

Yes! Our Storage by Stampin’ Up! products are modular and designed with customization in mind. Take a look at the flyer for more information on the size and dimensions of each item in our new modular storage product line.

  • Do I need a Storage Lid for each 5-tray stack?

No. The Storage Lid covers the top of Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, and Open Storage Cubes, so you need only one per storage configuration.

  • How many Stampin’ Ink Refills can I store in the Storage Topper?

You can store up to 20 Stampin’ Ink Refills (or other small items) in the Storage Topper.

  • Are ink pads difficult to remove from Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays?

No. When you insert an ink pad into a storage tray, a small portion of the ink pad will stick out. We designed it this way, so your ink pads will be both secure and easy to access.

  • Can I buy individual Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays and/or Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays?

No. Both of these items include a set of five white plastic trays. Please use the configuration chart to determine how many storage units you need.

  • What material do you use to make Storage by Stampin’ Up! products?

Our modular storage products are made with white, acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) plastic, which is a lightweight and durable material.

  • How do the silicone feet work?

To protect your surface and prevent slipping, we’ve included peel-and-stick silicone feet with the Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays, Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays, and Open Storage Cube.

How do I know what pieces I need?

And how about a printable PDF work sheet that will help you determine what you need to hold your supplies? And configuration ideas.

Fine Print:

  • Inventory Disclaimer: Because Storage by Stampin’ Up! is a brand-new product line, our inventory levels for this initial launch are based on research of similar products and their existing demand. If our inventory of Storage by Stampin’ Up! products is depleted, we will turn items off until their inventories have been replenished. The good news is that our Storage by Stampin’ UP! will be in our 2019 Annual Catalog.
