Magical Season Single Stamp

Our single stamps are such a great choice for this holiday season. Stampin’ Up! has given us some wonderful images to choose from in the Single Stamp Assortment this year and with many of them included in our Holiday Sale going on right now they are a fantastic deal too.

Here is a clean and simple card I made using the Magical Season single stamp sentiment along with the Season of Style Designer Series Paper. These go together so quickly and with the clean design it would be easy to make a lot of them.

I especially love the fact that I can cut the sentiment out using our Oval Collection Framelits so stamping is stress free.

My friend Marni seemed to love her card when we celebrated her 40th birthday with a High Tea party at Mittie’s Tea Room Café in Alpharetta. This was a new experience for me since I’ve never had high tea before and everything was scrumptious. I really can’t even tell you what my favorite goodie was – that’s how good everything was. Here is a picture of the dessert plate.

Warmth & Wonder

Warmth & Wonder is one of the Hostess Sets from the Holiday Catalog. I just love this sets images – they are great for some many different types of projects since the images are small enough to use in punches. As a matter of fact one of the images is designed to coordinate with a punch – and since I’m a punch-aholic that is a good thing, right?

Halloween Flip Card

I love our new Thinlits Card Dies and today I wanted to share with you the Halloween card I made for my Team swap last Thursday. Here is the outside.

And here is the flip side – taking a picture was a bit more challenging with this card – so I hope it shows it well enough.

My Halloween Flip card uses our NEW Circle Card Thinlits Die (133480). It makes this card sooo easy to create. And Flip or swing cards as they are known while a lot of fun, were more difficult to make the old way, before these dies.

There are two Thinlits Dies available The Circle Thinklits Die (133480) that I used here, and the Label Card Thinklits Die (133479). Check out all the great additional pieces you get too.

I based this card on a Halloween Punch Art card that I shared with you earlier HERE. Since I loved the silhouette image I knew that was where I wanted to start. But I simplified it so that the flip card was highlighted too. What do you think?

One of my favorite things about stamping is the camaraderie of stamping with friends. When we moved to Clarkesville in 2006 I wanted to find things local and became very frustrated with the fact that I couldn’t find what I wanted. The long drive to the mall quickly became frustrating when I returned home to find the items I purchased didn’t work with my project I wanted to do. So I turned to my Stampin’ Up! Catalog that I received during a stamp-a-stack event that I went to with my friend Michelle. And so my journey began – with all the products coordinating so well and the wonderful friends I made stamping I quickly found my crafting became a lot more fun.

Wetlands

I just love the Wetlands stamp set – Especially the sentiments and the font that is used for this set. Here is another card created with the Wetlands stamp set that I wanted to share with you.

This card used our Ivory Naturals card stock (item 101849). Both our Ivory and Whisper White Naturals card stock has got this great earthy feel to it and is a wonderful choice when you are looking for something with just a little more texture. Naturals card stock come 40 sheets to a package so it is a great deal too. Why not check it out if you haven’t already?

French Bulletin Board

Here is my latest project that I’ve been working on for my daughter’s dorm room now that we know the space that we are working with. I thought this Musical French Bulletin Board would be great for her to tuck things into quickly and it was a lot of fun to make.

The fabric is some that I had laying around the house from a project I didn’t get around to. I’ve got quite a few of those (but don’t tell my hubby that is what all those boxes are in my office Oh, wait he has his own stack- lol).

Anyhow, once I got the Tempting Turquoise Ribbon on the board I thought it needed something more – so I decided on some Rich Razzleberry Buttons that I had in the drawer.

I just love the way that I can use my Stampin’ Up! products in other ways – they aren’t just for card making! And I think Kaitlin will be happy when she sees all three of the boards that I made together. They are sure to give her dorm room a nice pop of color on the wall above the futon.
