It the week before Father’s Day so I thought it would be a great time to share some wonderful sets that include Father’s Day sentiments. Today’s set is the Geared Up Garage stamp set (148590). It’s perfect for our guys who love those classic cars. And it is a perfect choice for my guy since he’s a classic card enthusiast. We spent a lot of time those first years going to car shows and swap meets. (I’ll share a photo with you later in the post of Larry’s baby with you.)
I love the way that the Brass Foil (153057) has been used for the gears and pulls out the foiling in the Designer Series Paper too. The combination of Bermuda Bay and Basic Black is quite striking in person.
And this next card uses the color theme from my husbands car in addition to some simple stamping which makes it a great choice if you are just building your stamping collection. Classic – the Basic Black, Smoky Slate and Real Red makes an impact.
The Geared Up Garage stamp set also has coordinating Garage Gears Dies (151812) which make it a favorite!
On a personal note, here is the photo I told you I’d share. Back when we were first married my husband was working on his 1957 Chevy that he got when he was in the Army. He hauled it all the way from California back to Georgia. Here is a snap shot of it.
He had just completed restoring it before we got married, so we recreated my parents wedding photo from 1958 with it. We’ve been married 33 years now, but it seems just like yesterday at times. I’m wearing my mother’s dress, with a corset and big wooden hoop under it. That was an experience!

Today I’ll be sharing with you my Die Case Inserts for our coordinating dies. I like the fact that these sit on my shelf with the stamp sets and have the same look. All nice and neat!
If the Die set is large I’ll add a second magnetic sheet to the other side of the case so I have plenty of room.
I simply print these Case Inserts off on Whisper White card stock, then trim and insert. Click HERE to learn more about that.
Here are Die Case Inserts for all the Dies found in the 2020 Annual Catalog – If you find an error or there is a problem please let me know.
And if you prefer to keep the dies with your stamp set on your shelf you can check out my double case storage tip HERE that I shared with you earlier – there is even a video to show you how to do yours.

I’ve got some wonderful items to help make organizing your craft space easier for you while you’re waiting for those fun new colors and products to arrive. I’ve done this with each NEW Annual Catalog launch for years (you can find past items by looking under the organization category) and I hope you’ll find them useful too.
First I’ve created a quick reference for the Designer Series Paper. I like this chart and keep it handy when I’m looking for the colors in the Designer Series Paper. Everything you need is on this one easy chart.
2020-2021 Annual Catalog Designer Series Paper Chart PDF
I actually print this twice and cut one apart to put with my Designer Series Paper since the printing is bigger than what comes on the tag board backer. You can also keep my Design Tools & Color Swatch Books on your desk or with it too for easy reference. (I do both since I tend to bury the swatch book under everything on my desk when I’m creating, lol).
2020-2021 Annual Catalog Color Collection Inventory Chart
Want a quick way to know what colors you have on the go? I love this purse sized inventory list for keeping my items handy, so I’m sharing it with you. It’s one of my organizational items that everyone who is attending my week long Facebook Catalog Kickoff Celebration will receive with their Card Kits. It’s got all of our color families even the two In Color Families. Simply print, score, then fold to create a tri-fold reference chart that you can tuck in your purse
Tip: Make sure when you are printing this chart to turn the second side so that it prints upside down. That way both sides will be in the same direction when using.
Labels, Labels, Labels – I love labels and these make things so easy. I like to have everything consistent so with the NEW 2020-2021 Catalog. I have created new labels for my hanging file folders, Refill drawers, and my Classic Ink Pads.
I know that the NEW Classic Ink Pads come with these great labels stuck to the bottom for us to use (which I love), but I like to also know the which Color Collection they belong to, so I still use these in addition to the ones already included. I simply place this on the lid of my Ink pads.
2020-2021 Annual Catalog File Drawer Labels (Avery 5167) PDF
Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing more items to get you started along with my Dies Case Organizational Items with you.
If you don’t have a catalog and would like one, why not contact me today to find out how to get yours!
Just a couple of house keeping notes:
With the launch of the new catalog some of our items have been turned off due to the item being on back order and will be turned back on when the supply is available again. If you want any of these items I’m happy to notify you when they are available to order again. Simply contact me to be added to my wait list.
Also if you are looking at a Collection, you might find the Collection has been turned off but not the individual items, as just one of the products included in the Collection is on back order. You can add the individual items to your order.
You should see a pop up telling you what the situation is when shopping in the Online Store.
If you have questions please let me know I’m always happy to answer any questions you may have.

Last weekend was my Peak Princess event. What’s that? Well it is a special afternoon of pampering for those Team members who have earned it. We enjoy the time together, food, played a game, and of course create a project.
This event was extra special since it was our largest group yet due to everyone’s hard work – and I added a bit of a luau theme to the snack table to celebrate.
The hit of the snack table was the Artichoke & Mushroom Toast – not really Hawaiian fair, but since the Hawaiian pizza rolls I was planning on were a flop when I tried them, this worked out well since everyone seem to enjoy them.
Here is the recipe if you want to try them yourself. I found them really easy to do and prepped everything the day before and then assembled before the event.
Artichoke &
Mushroom Toast
Taste of Home
36
slices French bread baguette (1/2 inch thick)
3
T. Olive Oil, divided
½
lb. sliced fresh mushrooms
½
lb. sliced baby portobello mushrooms
½
tsp. Italian seasoning
2
T. butter
6
garlic cloves, minced
1
jar (7.5 oz) marinated quartered artichoke hearts, drained
1/3
c. mayonnaise
1
T. Parmesan cheese, shredded
2
c. Swiss cheese, shredded
Place bread on
baking sheets; brush with 2 tablespoons oil. Broil 4-6 inches from heat for 1-2
minutes or until lightly toasted.
In a large
skillet, sauté mushrooms with Italian seasoning in butter and remaining oil
until tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Remove from heat and set aside.
Place
artichokes in a food processor; cover and process until finely chopped. Add
mayonnaise and Parmesan cheese; cover and process until blended. Spread over
toast slices; top with mushrooms and sprinkle with Swiss cheese.
Bake at 350
degrees for 4-6 minutes or until cheese is melted.
And here is the classroom waiting for everyone to arrive.
I shared the little Country Home Kit Kat Holders which were everyone’s “pillow gifts” on the table with you yesterday – I thought the thankful greeting was perfect to express my thanks to my team.
We enjoyed a game after everyone settled in –
Have you ever played the Right, Left Game? It’s so simple…. everyone starts with a package and then we passed our packages to the right or left depending on the Ink Pad story I read.
Lot’s of fun and laughter to go around!
After we did a Make n Take and created these lovely Folding Albums. My friend, Marni gave me one of these little albums last spring in a swap and I loved it so much. I saved it since I knew it was the perfect project for the day. I simply put my own spin on it.
It wasn’t hard to choose the paper I wanted to use. The Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper is so striking and you’ve got a ton of pattern choices in the package. Here is what the album looks like opened.
I’m looking forward to filling it with some photos!
Here is the gang working on theirs
Want to see how I made this album? The Team enjoyed making them so much I thought you would too!
Amazing Magnolia Lane Folding Album Video Tutorial
Oh, I almost forgot the tag or chip board is simply the extra piece in our Specialty Designer Series Paper packs – How great is that? You can up cycle it!
So what do you think? Want to make one for yourself? I think they make great gifts and of course you could stamp on the inside diamonds if you prefer rather than use it as an photo album. I think there are endless ways to use this amazing album!
Here is a printable version with the complete supply list I used.

I have been trying to figure out how to share my good news with you all… and it is truly big news!
On August 26th, I got several customer orders that put me over top allowing me to achieve the Stampin’ Up 2019 Incentive Trip to Maui. On October 6th reports will be finalized and I will be able to redeem the points for an all-expenses paid trip for two to Maui July 2020. I can’t even begin to tell you just how excited my husband, Larry is about this trip!!!
I am still processing the fact that I’ve reached my goal and pinching myself to make sure it’s not a dream. I was not sure that I should share until it was official, but I wanted to go ahead now since so many of you have been following my progress.
So
here goes and all I can say is Thank you!
Thank you to my AMAZING customers.
Every order you place allows me to do what I love AND share my love of
crafting with you. I can’t tell you how much your support and friendship mean
to me.
Thank you to the best team ever! The Blue Mountain Stampers thank you
for sharing your talent, inspiring me, and keeping me on track! You have been
working hard too, and becoming successful in each of your own ways. I am so
proud of you, and that fact you let me be a part of your Stampin’ Up! journey.
I’m so honored that you have you chosen to join our team! I could not have
achieved this trip without you!
Thank
you to those NEW customers who reached
out to me and placed orders. You’ve touched me deeply with your kind comments and
your desire in wanting to help me reach my goal.
Thank you to my biggest fans who have stamped with me over the past
10 years! You refer your friends to me. You share your life and encourage me to
become better. You are the inspiration! Because of you I feel like I can achieve
anything.
Thank you to my husband and family who have been supportive and have
patiently waited for me and pitched in when I needed it.
Thank you to my adopted Stampin’ Up! family who have given me their
friendship, believed in me, mentored me, and inspired me to reach for the
stars.
Thank you so much for making this goal and my dream come true!
(Disclaimer: less than 1% of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators make the Incentive Trip each year)

Have you seen this set filled with wonderful crafting images? I really enjoy using it and wanted to share some more swaps that I received using this suite of products found on pages 52-54 of the Annual Catalog.
I really love the color combination of the Follow Your Art Designer Series Paper (149489) combined with our In Colors Seaside Spray and Rococo Rose on this first card which uses a fancy fold.
Isn’t it great how all our products work together? While these two colors are not in the Designer Series Paper they work to create a rich color pallet for this card.
And here are some more cards that use the colors listed in the Designer Series Paper itself.
So what do you think? Can you see the possibilities? Why not stop by my online store and see all the coordinating products in this Suite?
Goooooaaaaalllll

I’m so excited to have our Storage by Stampin’ Up! back and available to order. I really love the pieces I already have and am excited to be able to build on them.
Our new storage is modular, so it gives us tons of options to individualize it to our crafting space and needs. And we can build it as our budget allows – which is a win, win!
If you haven’t already seen the individual pieces you’ll want to.
And great news in playing with my storage pieces I’ve customized mine with an simple additional step to make things even easier for me.
Now with a quick look I I can things back in their place – After all I love to organize things, as you know. And today I’m sharing it with you – So here is what I’ve come up with.
Can you see what I’ve added? I like to have things put back in their place and visually see what I’ve left laying out on my desk – and laying around my creative space. I seem to be a “messy” creative person. Sound familiar? I think that is a lot of us. LOL!
It’s simple I’ve simply added a piece of card stock and one of my organizational labels to the bottom of my Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays! Super simple, right? And now anyone can put things where they belong with a quick glance!
And I’ve done the same thing to my Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays so that as I build my collection I can put them right back in their spots!
Because these trays come apart this process is a easy one. And when you want to change the labeling system it will be easy too. Simply take them apart and replace the card stock colors as needed.
Want to do this too? Here are the measurements for you-
Ink Pad & Marker Storage Trays
• Cut each piece of card stock to 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″
• Then add one of my Annual Catalog File Drawer Labels that you can find and print HERE that I shared with you earlier.
• Add a bit of Snail or a Mini Glue Dot to each piece of Card Stock and adhere to the shelf.
Stampin’ Blends Storage Trays
• Cut each piece of card stock to 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ (perfect for those strips we have left over)
• Add a bit of Snail or Mini Glue Dot to each piece of Card stock and adhere to the slot
Yep! it’s that simple – and not only will you know exactly where your supplies go, you’ll also have a beautiful array of colors showing in those spots that are empty while you are crafting too!
Now the hard part – deciding how I want to stack them! Oh, wait there is no stress about that, since I can move them around as I play with my crafting items until I’m happy! LOVE IT!!!

or call me (706 754-7124) to hold your spot ASAP, since there isn’t a lot of
time before I need to place the order on June 3rd so you get yours as soon
as possible after the catalog goes live.
EMAIL me directly at [email protected]
with your information listed below to save your spot in the share: (Note: For
multiple shares and/or swatch books – contact me for a shipping quote…a Flat
Rate packaging can hold quite a bit).
Please include the following information in
your email:
1.
Full Name
2.
Mailing Address (US only)
3.
Indicate how many Paper Shares and/or Design Tool & DSP Swatch Book
sets you would like to reserve
4.
Email for PayPal invoicing
When your shares/swatch book order fills, I
will email a PayPal invoice for payment process (around May 26th). I will then place my order with
Stampin’ Up! once payment is received for the shares/swatch book.
PayPal is easy — and a PayPal account is not required to make
your payment. Just an email address and credit/debit card.
When you receive your PayPal invoice by email, you can choose to pay using your
PayPal funds or by a credit/debit card. Simply follow their instructions
to make your payment via the method that is most convenient for you. It
should be simple!
And of course, if you live locally – just let me know if you prefer to pick up
your items rather than pay for the shipping and I’ll invoice you accordingly.
NOTE: The first share/swatch books if placed on June 4th can
be expected in about 2 weeks after I place the order. Here is how my paper
shares/swatch books work… first I save your spot and collect your payment, then
I place the order, receive the order, cut and package the paper, package up
your swatch book/share for mailing and then take them to the Post Office to
ship.
As
always – Please let me know if you have any questions.
