Easter Message

Well I’m all settled in Jasper at this weekends retreat in a lovely location at Camp Grandview and am enjoying a nice cup of coffee while I post this morning. I’ll share more about that with you next week. But today I wanted to share this wonderful card that I received from Sandy. It seemed fitting since I’m sitting here with 80 wonderful ladies at a DIY retreat who were kind enough to include me.

This card uses the lovely Falling in Love Designer Series Paper – it’s soft colors and bokeh effect are perfect for all kinds of projects and if you haven’t seen it in person you won’t be disappointed.

Sandy embossed the image in gold and added a touch of our trim along with pearls – the simplicity is beautiful I think. How about you?

Well, I’m off to get my second cup of coffee. LOL – enjoy the day!

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Easter Message (142984/142987)

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail….

Ducks, chicks and bunnies always make me think of Easter since my mother use to take us to the Bayshore Mall in the spring to see the eggs hatch, in a really big egg at the mall – over the weeks you could visit and watch the little beaks breaking through the shells to magically appear. It fascinated me every year. So what could be better than a cute little punch art bunny for this project?

I wanted to be able to create them they could be done for both the boys and girls in the family – so here is what I did.

I love that by simply placing the bow in a different location you have a different look – Peter

or Flopsy?

It’s your choice. My kids loved the story of Peter Rabbit growing up! And now I’ve got the song running through my head. LOL! Since it is supposed to be 78 for the high today and it feels like spring, can you blame me?

Notice the sentiment? It’s from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set – a wonderful sentiment set to start with since it has sentiments for all occasions!

Here is a chart for building your bunnies.

Supplies:

Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes (128748/127802)

Inks: Pink Pirouette Classic Ink (126956)

Paper: Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper (142778), Soft Sky (131203), Sweet Sugarplum (141418), Watermelon Wonder (138334), Tip Top Taupe (138336), and Whisper White Card stock (100730)

Accessories: Chalk Marker (132133), Sweetheart Punch (133786), Owl Builder Punch (118074), Bow Builder Punch (137414), and Stitched Shapes Framelits Dies (145372)

Suite Sayings for Easter

I wanted to make a little Easter treat for family and friends and so immediately thought about the Suite Sayings stamp set since I love the font used for the Easter sentiment.

So here is what I came up with.

So…what do you think? Want to see a punch art version that I made? Stop by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing another project with you.

Stamp Set: Suite Sayings (140709/140712)
