Joyful Holly

What is more traditional than a bough of holly? And makes us think of Christmas?

If holly brings the winter holidays to mind why not check out the Joyful Holly stamp set (153440)?

And here is a colorful card done in traditional Real Red and Shaded Spruce using this set.

The image has been stamped using our Memento Tuxedo Black, Real Red and Shaded Spruce Classic Ink Pads. It’s then been cut out using our Layering Ovals Dies (151771) and layered using the scallop oval from the set. Placed on a plaid background made using our Best Plaid Builder Dies (152720) this card has such a great traditional feel to it and lots of texture too since the bow is tied from our Real Red Braided Trim (153546) that is part of our Year End Closeout sale and is 50% off right now.

So what do you think?

Cool Treats Thank You Card Tutorial

Cool Treats is fun stamp set with all kinds of options since it is a two-step stamp set. This makes it perfect for our Stamparatus too. Check out these fun colorful thank you cards I made recently.

I chose this pattern from the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper (144185) since it is filled with all kinds of wonderful colors perfect for sorbets and ice cream.

I totally CASED this layout since I really liked it on a card I received in a shoe box swap last year. What does CASE mean? Copy and Share Everything! You don’t have to reinvent the wheel when stamping, sharing ideas is what it’s about.

Want to make some too? I’ve whipped up a tutorial for this taste treat set.

You’re Inspiring Easter Card Tutorial

I loved the daffodil images in the You’re Inspiring stamp set (145805/145808) as soon as I saw it, so was excited to sit down and play with it the other day. I came up with a bunch of cards quickly and wanted to share one with you today.

I designed this card for Easter. Seemed there were always these smiling little faces trying to pop up on a warm winter day – next to the snow in Wisconsin it was a cheerful pop of color. LOL!

I love the way the faux embossed Letter Press technique that I used for this card turned out using the Basket Weave Embossing Folder that is part of the Sale-a-bration Blooming Basket Bundle (147504/147505). I can’t wait to play more with this folder.

If you haven’t seen this bundle – check out this video

beautiful right?

Well good news about this card I’m sharing with you today – I’ve made a quick tutorial for you so you can make some too.

Tips for using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set

Today’s card is made using the Painted Harvest Stamp Set and there are a couple of things that will make you more successful when you use this set. So today not only will I be sharing the tutorial for the Holiday Catalog Kick Off Make n Take, but I’ve also got a little video for you sharing some basics for this stamp set.

First here is the card that we made.

I love the way that this set has a built in watercolor feel to it – and it has quickly become one of my favorites to use with it’s pretty font. I used Fresh Fig for the flowers on this card and love the richness of the color.

Want the instructions to make this card? Well here is the tutorial

The flowers are  fun to stamp, but I recommend completing one before moving on to the next so you remember your lining up point easier.
