The Best Thoughts Hostess Set contains an image that I knew my mother-in-law would love since she is such a flower lover. And with the sentiments and butterfly it is a great set for anyone.

And here is a wonderfully feminine card that uses the Best Thoughts stamp set that Geralyn gave me in a swap. I just love its simplicity. The image was embossed in Black on Pink Pirouette and then cut out. The image is popped up on a Watercolor Wash back ground – what could be easier?

Birthday Wishes & Sale-a-bration Countdown!

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful stamping friends. As you may or may not know Sunday was my birthday and my fellow stampers made it extra special this year with their hand stamped cards!

So today I wanted to share some of the wonderful cards that I received for my birthday.

Each and everyone of them is so special – And I appreciate the time my fellow stampers took to create and mail them. How wonderful it was to have a little surprise each day when the mail arrived. Truly my birthday wishes have lasted all week long.

It looks like the #imbringingbirthdaysback campaign that Shannon West began early this year is taking hold. How great is that? Real snail mail, not just a face book message. There is nothing like a hand penned note to make you feel extra special.

#imbringingbirthdaysback

Have you noticed that you don’t send or receive birthday cards like you used to? Would you like to receive a handmade card from me this year? #imbringingbirthdaysback is a new initiative that Shannon West started to bring back sending birthday cards.

Shannon West is part of the Stampin’ Up! home office team. And in November at OnStage shared with us her families’ personal birthday tradition of celebrating with one big bash – which I just loved, so when she launched her #imbringingbirthdaysback last month I couldn’t resist joining in the fun and jumping on board, and now you can too! Since this was one of my New Years resolutions for 2016 any how I’m just expanding it a bit by including you!

So, if you have noticed that Facebook has basically ruined birthdays too and want to work with me to change that, let’s do it together! Starting March 1st I’ll be sending birthday cards out to not only my Birthday Club members, but also the first 100 people who send me their birthdays!!!

(I just need the month and day since we’re all 29. LOL! But you can include the year if you want to. US only)
