Team Time & Swapping

Inspire, Share and Create – That’s what we do as a team once a month at our meetings when we get together. Today’s items that I’ll be sharing with you are swaps that were made by my fellow team members, a group of wonderful stampers! While we’ve all been stamping for different lengths of time it’s amazing how much we learn from each other! Oh, and did I mention we just have fun?

This first card is one that Mary made. It’s a peekaboo pullback card using the Watercolor Wings stamp set (139424) and Bold Butterfly Framelits Dies (138135).

Done in the Floral Boutique Designer Series Paper (141663) and using just two colors – it’s quite striking.

How how about this card Cindy made using the Hey, Chick (Sale-a-bration item 143328/143331) and Greatest Greetings (140703/140706) stamp sets.

Cindy used the Succulent Garden Designer Series Paper (142778) and Woodgrain Embossing Folder (127821) to create a fun textured background for this little water colored image.

And how about some fun goodies too? Deborah made these fun little bags using the Oh, So Succulent Bundle (145184) and wrapped it all up with a bow!

If you haven’t felt the Succulent Garden 3/8″ Ribbon (142781) – it’s sooo soft and luxurious feeling. I wasn’t sure about this suite of products when I first saw them, but I’ve definitely added them to my wish list!

And finally a little file folder filled with a Ghiradelli chocolate. I love the soft colors of the Cupcakes & Carousel Designer Series Paper Stack (142744) Cindy teamed up with the the  Designer T stamp set (Sale -a-bration item 143356)  sentiment. Can you guess where the sentiment on the tab comes from?

Well it’s the Pretty Kitty stamp set (141861/141864). Of course, the cloud and little bird are from the Tree Builder Punch (138295). Fun right and who wouldn’t smile when they got this little treat? If you’d like to learn how to make these little treat folders you can click HERE to see my video tutorial.

A Little Bit of Lovin’

Monday Larry and I celebrated my 29th Wedding Anniversary. (I know I can’t believe it either. How did that happen? Since I’m only 29, I must have been a child bride LOL!!) And so I thought I’d share some great love themed swaps that I’ve received.

This first one is from Irene and I love the way she used the Number of Years Bundle (140811) with the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Die (140621).

While this card is for that special Silver Anniversary, I think the layout is perfect for any year. Just change up the colors and you’re sure to make an impression!

This second card I made in a shoe box swap and it uses the You’re So Sweet stamp set (138682/139440).

And this card from the Shoe box swap uses the Everything Eleanor (131987/124164) and Butterfly Basics sets (138813/138816/137154). I think it would make a lovely wedding or bridal shower card. How about you?

And finally another Anniversary card that was given to me by Donna. I love the way she used the Bird Builder Punch (117191) and Woodgrain Embossing Folder (127821) to create the look of wood the bird is peaking out of.

The cute little flowers are from the Tree Builder Punch (138295).

Zoo Babies & More Shoe box Fun!

Yesterday I shared the card I took in my shoe box for the gathering last night and so today I thought I’d share the wonderful cards my stamping friends brought along. I’m having a hard time deciding which was my favorite so I thought I’d share them all!!! LOL!

Anna used the Zoo Babies stamp set (130453/130456) for her card and I love the was she used the Washi Label Punch (138296) to create the focal point.

While the card was done using only Crumb Cake card stock she added a lot of interest with the different layers and texture.

This second card was Marni’s and she used the same set I did yesterday, (click here to see my card),  Balloon Celebration (140675) along with the coordinating Balloon Bouquet Punch (140609) – I love the way she used the Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper (140550) when she bunched out some of the balloons. After all who doesn’t like a bit of “bling”?

Maria made this cute card using the Ronald McDonald House, Sprinkles of Life stamp set (139971) and the coordinating Tree Builder Punch (138295). This set will retire soon, so if you would like to make a difference and get a wonderful stamp set this is a wonderful choice since Stampin’ Up! donates $3 of every set sold to the RMHC.

She used the Cherry on Top Designer Series Paper Stack (138443) and Washi Tape (138384). Fun right? Who wouldn’t love getting this bright cheerful birthday greeting?

And the final card uses the Remarkable You stamp set (139891/139894). Done in neutrals it’s simple and elegant, something that Kathleen does so well.

We had the best time last night stamping, sharing and visiting together. And I love the fact we all have a different stamping style. It’s fun to see what others create with the same stamp sets! What do I love best about being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator? The people it has brought into my life! I really feel blessed by every stamper I’ve met over the past 7 years.

Sprinkles of Life & More

Are you ready for the NEW Stampin’ Up! 2015-2016 Annual Catalog that kicks off tomorrow? Are you ready to see some of the new products? Well check out these two cards I made using the NEW 2015 In Colors – I think you’re going to love them!

Sprinkles of Life (139971) is our 2015 Ronald McDonald House stamp set. What is great about that? Well for each stamp set you purchase Stampin’ Up! donates $3 to the Ronald McDonald House AND you get this great set!

Sprinkles of Life

Can you see the dimension to the ice cream cone? Well that was created using the NEW Tree Builder Punch (139971) that coordinates with the Sprinkles of Life stamp set. Cool right? And who doesn’t love a punch! The Birthday Bash Specialty Designer Series Paper (137783) add a touch of interest too and will be gone after tomorrow.

I’ve used three of the five new 2015 – 2017 In Colors on this card – Cucumber Crush , Watermelon Wonder, and Tip Top Taupe. Oh, how I love saying that last color…. it’s just fun to say. Try it … Tip Top Taupe, it just rolls off the tongue! And I think you’ll fall in love with the warm brown too when you see it just like I’ve have.

Want to see more? Well my next card has a totally different look and it uses the soft Mint Macron from the 2015 In Color Collection. I think this color will be great for creating a vintage look.

Buterfly Basics Feel Goods

I’ve used the new Mint Macron Dotted Lace Trim (138428) and the fantastic 2015 In Color Blossom Accents (138383) along with some pearls and the Typeset Specialty Paper (133704) to create this card. And I think the sentiment from the Feel Goods stamp set (129681/131916) makes this a great card for a any young lady who is graduating this month.

Great news – You can see these and a lot of other fantastic new products tomorrow for the first time in my Online Store. Want a catalog of your own? Why not place an order with me and I’ll include one in your order for you!
