I’m going to keep today’s post short and sweet since it is rather late and hubby will be home soon and for some reason expects dinner. Go figure – LOL! (I got side tracked sorting and mailing swaps. I’ll look forward to sharing them with you soon.)
Today’s card is one that I shared at my Sneak Peek event – I just love this suite of products! It makes such great cards for guys since it contains rich earthy colors.
Quick and simple – the circles add a pop of color and mimic the shape of the globe I thought. Why not leave me a comment and let me know what you think?
Do you enjoy using your stamping supplies in different ways? One of the things I love the most about crafting is the versatility it gives us. And Stampin’ Up! makes this easy with all the different choices we have.
Today’s project is a little wine charm that I made with the Botanical Blooms Bundle (140625). When I saw this stamp set and it’s Framelits Dies I knew it would be a lot of fun to play with!
I made these little wine charms for my Team members as a little surprise during our Winter Retreat. Everyone who attended our Team Retreat got to choose one in the color they liked. While all the flowers were the same I used different beads to set them apart and add another pop of color to them to them.

Retreats are part of the fun of being a Blue Mountain Stamper – we do them 3 times a year and enjoy the fellowship and time away from our daily responsibilities. After all who doesn’t like 3 days of uninterrupted stamp time? It’s a very laid back weekend, sleep when you please or not at all. LOL!
We also hold a Shoebox Swap as part of the weekend fun – those that can’t come for the weekend craft for the day or just come for the swap.
It’s a lot of fun to see what everyone created to share and it’s a great way to learn new things and try new products too. Here’s Cindy taking a few minutes to explain her shoebox.

A New Catalog is a lot of fun – and of course when it’s Sale-a-bration, it’s even more fun! So to start the New Year off with a bang I held my NEW Catalog Sneak Peek Event on the 3rd of January – two days before the catalog launched! That meant that everyone who attended was able to play with some of the new products and see them before it went live! Whoo hoo! A great way to start off the New Year, right?
In today’s post I’m going to share with you some photos of the event. This first one is a picture of the classroom set up – to show you a bit of what greeted everyone who attended.
And this second one shows you what was at everyone’s spot.
Everyone who attended received a couple of special treats from me – and in today’s Video Tutorial I’ll show you how the little chocolate holder was made.
I call these Love Blossom Domed Treat Box – I’m so original, not with names – but well I called them this because they’re domed or treasure box shaped!
I used our new 6×6 paper stack, Love Blossoms since they were the perfect size! I didn’t even have to cut the paper!

Domed Treat Box Video Tutorial:
A great project, huh? And it holds quite a bit so you can put almost any item you’d like inside. Of course, I wanted to pamper my guests with some Valentine chocolate, (before Larry found it!) so this was perfect.
And of course, our Honeycomb Happiness (Sale-a-bration 1412788/141291) is an item that you can earn FREE during Sale-a-bration. I love the images and thought the sentiment was perfect for this project!

You know how it goes I had planned on starting my Christmas baking yesterday, however the weather didn’t consult me. We had a bad rain storm blow through mid morning that took out our power for a couple of hours and then problems with the internet. So I didn’t get to post yesterday.
But your in luck today things are humming along just fine – so I thought I’d share the card I had planned on showing you yesterday along with some additional one too.
I created this card using the Dove of Peace (139800) single stamp. I loved the design immediately when I saw it and knew it would look lovely teamed up with our Night of Navy and done in our Gold Embossing Powder.
Great minds think alike, right? This next card was one I stamped at a recent team Shoebox Swap – My friend Teresa used some of the same supplies, but I think this card has a totally different feel to it. Isn’t that a wonderful part of stamping – the way things can be changed up so easily simply with the choices we make?
