With my daughter heading off to college soon I thought it would be nice to have some of her friends over to say farewell. Of course, a beach theme invitation seemed to make sense since it is a pool party, so when I saw this swap from convention that Lydia did using the By the Seashore stamp set (item 132582/126532) it seemed perfect for the occasion.
Don’t you love the way that Stampin’ Up!s stamp sets coordinate well together? Not only does this card use the By the Seashore but it also uses an image from the By the Tide set (item 131910/129120) as well.
And did you notice the block of color in the background? Well this was made using our one of our Clear Blocks that you use to mount our Clear Mount Stamps on. A quick and easy background!
I think this card would also make a great masculine card with its colors too.

Interesting use of clear mount block.
Isn’t it great when we can use things different ways?
