Yesterday my best friend from High School celebrated her birthday and although a lot of miles separate us she never feels very far away. Funny how those special friends in our life are like that, huh?
Since I wanted something fun, I reached for the Flamingo Lingo stamp set and pulled out the little flamingo image. After all who can resist flamingos, right? And since it’s this years Ronald McDonald House stamp set it seemed fitting for this particular friend who is always volunteering.
I’m hoping it brings a smile to her face. Since it’s been in the 90’s here I figured a fun summer themed birthday card was a bit more fitting than one done in black. LOL.
Did you know that when you buy the Flamingo Lingo stamp set you can make a difference in someone’s life?
Flamingo Lingo is this years Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set – Why is that important? Well, Stampin’ Up! will donate $3 to the RMHC when you purchase this set and that means you’ll not only get a wonderful stamp set to use, but you’ll also be helping to keep families together during a difficult time, along with helping children heal. What could be better right?
