Merry Cafe Spiced Chai

I really love the Merry Cafe stamp set and the fact that it coordinates with both the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies AND the Coffee Cafe stamp set – After all who wouldn’t love more coffee or tea items?

Here is a cute little gift that I made for my peeps as a gift recently.

I had these cute little jars that I found a while back just laying around and they were perfect for this project!

Each jar help 2 cups of Spiced Chai Mix that I whipped up quickly – and can you say yummy?

I used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper to decorate this little jars. Isn’t it great that this pack is part of our Buy 3 Get 1 FREE Designer Series Paper Promotion  this month?

Not only was I able to decorate the tag which held the recipe on the back to mix up your cup, but I punched a circle of coordinating Designer Series Paper for the lid – cute!

And since the mix it self looks like Crumb Cake it was even color coordinated. (I can hear my daughter’s groan and see her eyes rolling at that comment. Do you think in Stampin’ Up! colors when your out shopping or doing things too?)

Want the recipe for this quick and easy mix? I’ll warn you it is yummy you won’t want to just have one cup. LOL!

Spiced Chai Mix

Taste of Home

3 c. nonfat dry milk powder

1 1/2 c. sugar

1 c. unsweetened instant tea

3/4 c. vanilla powdered nondairy creamer

1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger

1 1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/2 tsp. ground cardamom

1/2 tsp. ground cloves

In a food processor, combine all dry ingredients; cover and process until powdery. Store in an airtight container in a cool dry place for up to 6 months.

To prepare 1 serving; Dissolve 3 tablespoons of mix into 3/4 cup (6 oz.) of boiling water; stir well. Add a dollop of whipping cream if desired.

Yield: about 5 cups mix (26 servings)

Sorry I forgot to take a picture of the back of the tag for you, but here is a pdf so you can print some off too. I’ve spaced it for the shorter coffee cup. So simply print it off onto your card stock, run it through the Big Shot and you’ve got yourself a tag.

  1. Thank you, Jini, for this wonderful gift suggestion! This is the kind of small gift I like to have on hand during the Christmas holidays.
