As we wind down the month of August I thought I’d share a lovely retirement card with you made with the Sunset Coast Stamp Set (167775).

This card uses the Book Binding fold creating a fun twist with just a simple score line and some adhesive. The card base is 4 1/4″ x 11″ and the card base is scored at 4 1/4″ and 5 1/2″. Folded in half and then adhesive is added between the 4 1/4″ and 5 1/2″ mark and adhered down to create the book binding.

Simple stamping was used for the focal point and this set is great to create scenes with like this since it contains all kinds of fun 2 step images. A strip of the Scenic Coast Specialty Designer Series Paper (167773) and some twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475) adds a bit more interest and enhances the nautical feel.

This stamp set contains a lovely font and wonderful sentiments to create with.
