Number of Years

It’s been a very blustery day here in North Georgia and the yard is sopping wet from all the rain we’ve had today. The bands of rain coming through earlier today have been pretty intense. The power of nature always amazes me. Just a few minutes into the downpour and I watched the muddy red “rivers” form in the fields around us and our yard as the water headed to the lower ground and the creek that is close by. Hopefully as you read today’s post your dry and safe.

Anyhow on to the fun stuff!. Today’s cards use the Number of Years stamp set (140653) found on page 11 in the Occasions Catalog. While they both use the same set they are two very different cards.

This first card was given to me by my friend Anna. It’s bright and cheerful and for some reason reminds me of sock hops for some reason. (Odd I know LOL!)

I love the color combination of Basic Black and Melon Mambo. Anna used the L arge Numbers Framelits (140622) to create the focal point on the front. You can get both when you order the Bundle (140811) at a 15% discount.

Open the card and you’ll get a surprise – It’s a fancy fold.

Anna also used our Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper (138445) and the cute little Party Punch Pack (140608) too!

This second card was created by Kate and uses the flower images from the set.

I LOVE the soft background Kate created. It’s soft and subtle.

This first card was given to me by Nancy and is stamped using our Watermelon Wonder and Basic Black Ink.

And Trudy gave me this monochromatic card created with the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper (138445).
