Dashing for Deer

This Dashing Deer Bundle (149934/149935) with all it’s possibilities was first on my list when I saw it in the Holiday Catalog – I knew I’d love working with the images! And with the coordinating Dashing Along Designer Series Paper that can be earned this month for FREE I couldn’t go wrong.

So today’s card is one that I created using these two products.

And it used a very simple fancy fold too, the fold.

And here are a couple of more cards using this special pack of Dashing Along Designer Series Paper. along with the Christmas Traditions (148030) stamp set.

Did you know that this special Dashing Along Designer Series Paper is only available this month for hosts or qualifying orders? Why not check it out here? But if you want this pack you’ll want to hurry since you only have until 112:50 pm (MT) on September 30th to earn yours!

Trick or Tweet Folding Box

I love these little folding boxes that I shared with you the other day – so this time I’ve created one using the Trick or Tweet stamp set. After all we need to scare up some chocolate, right? And I couldn’t resist this little guy – he just makes me smile.

When you open up the lid and you’ll get a Halloween greeting and

Chocolate of course, (although you could put all kinds of things inside since it’s a pretty roomy box  if your guys don’t love chocolate.) I found these Russel Stover Carmel Brownie pumpkins at my local Ingles and couldn’t resist pickup up a few as gifts family.

(Sorry I think my photos are a bit off, it’s another rainy day here in Georgia which doesn’t my photo I hoping it’s just my screen.)

I’ve created a PDF tutorial with a complete supply list for you and of course, you can see the video on how to create this Folding Box HERE.

Trick or Tweet Treat Box

I love to make little treat items for family and friends and so when I saw the Trick or Tweets stamp set in the Holiday Catalog I knew it would be perfect for this year’s Halloween treats.

Check out this cute little box I made using the set

My fellow stamper, Pam gave this cute little box idea last spring and so I wanted to give it a try myself. Turns out these little boxes are sooooo easy to make, that they are kind of addictive once you get going.

Or at least I couldn’t stop – LOL!  The images and color combinations were just a lot of fun to play with once I got coloring with my Stampin’ Blends.

I thought you might like to try some too for your treats so I’ve whipped up a quick video tutorial.

Trick or Tweets Treat Boxes Video Tutorial –

And of course I’ve included a complete supply list on my PDF tutorial for you.

Why not leave me a comment and let me know which combination is your favorite?

Live local and want to stamp with me? Why not check out my upcoming Calendar of Events?

Pretty in Plaid Dashing Deer

Today’s cards once again use the Dashing Deer Bundle and the Detailed Thinlits Dies – but they use patterns of plaid to create wonderful cards. So why not check them out?

This first card uses the stamped image and it’s really cool two tone effect that is created simply by inking up the stamp and stamping!

it’s teamed up with our wonderful Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper (147820) and Striped Burlap Trim (147889). And the texture has been created with the Pinewood Planks Embossing Folder (143703) for the Cherry Cobbler panel. Recognized the punch used for the sentiment? It is our Duet Banner Punch (141483).

And here is a card using our Gold Foil Sheets (132622) along with the Festive Farmhouse Cotton Twine (147888). This twine is so soft and ties beautifully and with 3 colors to choose from it’s great for your winter projects.

And how about this final card? Rudolph here uses the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper (146921) from the Annual Catalog in addition to the 1/8″ Real Red Sold Ribbon (144631)  and Red Rhinestones (146924).

Plaid evokes memories of when my children were young in the fall and winter for me – there isn’t anything better than a soft warm plaid and sitting around a fire on a crisp evening.

Well I’m off and hoping to get some videos of some fun fall projects done for you today – I can barely see my own back yard this morning the fog is so thick, so I’m hoping I’ll have enough light. It’s a perfect day for stamping here in the mountains.

Simply elegant Dashing Deer

This bundle is so much fun to work with and makes elegant cards for the holiday season. Check out these three cards all using the die cut as the focal point. Done in  both foil and card stock you can’t go wrong!

This first card uses the Silver Foil (132178), Swirls & Curls Dynamic Embossing Folder (147923) and the elegant Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon (144213)

And you’ve got to love our Metallic Pearls (146282) which contains both gold and silver pearls, they’re so rich looking and perfect for our holiday cards!

And here is one using the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (147816) with it’s copper accents.

The vellum adds a bit of interest and texture to this card.

And how about this card? I love the feeling of a silhouette this card creates.

And done in Gray Granite with the wood tones from the Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper (147820) it’s quite striking.

Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some more cards using the Dashing Deer Bundle with you

Take Your Pick Tool Box Tutorial

Have you seen the Take Your Pick Tool in the Holiday catalog on page 30? I’m so excited about this tool with all it’s features. I’m using it all the time!

Not only can you pick up small items with the Putty end, you have a spatula so you can  pick up adhered card stock layers, a paper piercer and stylus. As usual Stampin’ Up! has done it again – creating a high quality tool to make our paper crafting easier. What could be better?

A lovely box to hold it and keep everything together of course. I went looking for a way to keep all the pieces together and here is what I came up with.

These boxes are easy to make and will keep everything together for you in one place. I really like the way my first box turned out, so much so I decided to add a magnetic flap to it – so you’ve got two options when making your own.

Here is a video tutorial for you, the PDF so you can print your own Take Your Pick Tool label and a PDF tutorial with the complete supply list.

Take Your Pick Tool Box Tutorial –

And I’ve given you cutting measurements in the PF for both the magnetic flap I’ve shown you and the non magnetic flap. Making it easy to create the version you’d like for your space.

The printable label is in both Blackberry Bliss and Basic Black so you can choose. And there are two sizes too for the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies or Tailored Tag Punch. Simply print on Whisper White card stock.

Dashing Deer Easel Card & the Holiday Catalog Kick Off

Today’s card is the final project  we made during my Holiday Catalog Kick Off and it is a fancy fold. I love the fact that we can create 3d cards using just ink and card stock! For me it’s one of the things that make paper crafting so much fun!

The Dashing Deer Bundle of products coordinates with this month’s Host Special – the Dashing Along Designer Series Paper which is perfect for projects like this since it contains multiple sheets of the same patterns. The images in this set are lovely, but when teamed up with the coordinating Detailed Deer Thinlits Dies your options are endless.

This card uses a fancy fold called the Easel Fold and I’ve whipped up a quick tutorial show how this quick and easy fold is created for you along with a printable PDF.

How to Create an Easel Card Video Tutorial

After watching the video do you want to make one too?

Well you’re in luck since I’ve created a PDF for you with step by step instructions to create this card along with a complete supply list too.

Falling for Leaves Tutorial & More

I’ve got another project from my Holiday Catalog Kick Off for you – and a couple more Tutorials too! I originally designed this card for my Team Retreat in August, but couldn’t resist sharing it with you too!

This card is a wow with it’s texture and shimmer, that are created with a Copper Shimmer Mist,  torn edge and Corrugated layers. And it’s so easy to do!

I’ve created a couple of tutorials for you. The first is a PDF for the card so you can recreate it for yourself it includes both a complete supply list and directions.

Falling For Leaves Holiday Catalog Card Tutorial PDF

Check out this short little video where I show you how you can create your own Shimmer Mist.

How to Create Shimmer Mist Video Tutorial

Once you play with the Merry Merlot & Copper Reversible Ribbon you’ll want some too – it’s to die for. And the Copper Shimmer Paint! So many ways to use this stuff – you can even use an Uninked Stampin’ Spot (141822) to create your own little Copper ink pad! How cool is that?

On to a couple of things you’ll want to know that are time sensitive:

Did you know that Fast Fuse is back? But it’s only While Supplies Last!

If you’re like me, you thought the days of Fast Fuse were done at Stampin’ Up! (You know . . .since Stampin’ Up! retired the product and everything!) However, our vendor reached out because they manufactured a surplus of Fast Fuse applicators and refills, and they offered to sell their excess Fast Fuse inventory to us. Stampin’ Up! took them up on their offer and purchased 2,500 Fast Fuse applicators and 72,000 Fast Fuse refills.

Whoo! hoo! So you won’t want to delay in ordering yours, since it while supplies last!

Items Approaching Not-Orderable Status

Here’s what Stampin’ Up! has told us.

Sales for the following holiday catalog products have exceeded Stampin’ Up!’s forecast and are continuing strong, resulting in a significant number of back orders. It will be at least 30 days before these items are back in stock.

147905: Santa’s Workshop Memories & More Card Pack
147807: Chicken Wire Elements

These products will remain available until Wednesday, September 19 at 10:00 AM (MT); they will then be placed in not-orderable status. After that you will receive a pop-up notification asking if you would like to be notified via email when these products are back in stock. This will allow you to find out immediately when the status changes for these items and they are again available for purchase.

Thanks for your patience and understanding.

Explanatory note: Costs incurred by backorders can be in the tens and even hundreds of thousands of dollars; therefore, after weighing the variables, we occasionally must make the decision to temporarily turn off an item number rather than permit back orders to accrue. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause; however, putting a product in not-orderable status while we wait for the stock to replenish allows the company to hold costs down.

Supplies:
