With fall officially starting tomorrow I thought it would be a perfect time to share my latest tutorial with you – this time for a elegant card that uses our Designer Series Paper that some wonderful foiling in them. The foil add a touch of elegance that I thought went perfectly with this card.
And a quick and simple angling technique with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder (162189) that mimics the strip of Designer Series Paper add a bit of texture and interest. Check out my Tutorial that I made for you sharing this card.
And of course why not a PDF? It includes all the measurements and a complete supplyt list for the card.
Did you know my classes include PDFs for you too? No more hanging on to the card so you can recreate it. Now you can print it off or save it so you have everything at your finger tips when you’re ready to create!
It’s Friday and that means a tutorial. This week I needed a birthday card for a friend who loves music and so I thought this card would be perfect for them. Bright and cheerful with a retro feel to it.. and it pops up to stand on their mantel too.
I originally designed this back in August and had thought about using it as a BackStage swap too, but then decided against it. You’re going to love the NEW Deckled Circle Dies (162286) they come in tons of sizes!
It has a nice little signature panel on the back that pulls in the music too.
Want to see how I made this card? I’ve whipped up a video tutorial when I was creating it and of course a PDF tutorial for you too. I’m just loving this pattern from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper stack (161640) it’s designed to have patterns that work with all kinds of our stamp sets.
Today is going to be short and sweet since I’m taking my computer back to Best Buys to finish things up, I’m hoping. You just don’t know how much you need something until it doesn’t work right. lol.
Today’s card was created with one of the NEW Mini Catalog Bundles, Pick of the Patch (162200) that will be available to order starting on September 6th when the September – December Mini goes LIVE. I couldn’t resist this fun little set that has these cute little pumpkin and gourd images perfect for fall and Halloween.
I’ve teamed up the set with the Them Bones Designer Series Paper (162215) that has this wonderfully warm plaid pattern done in rich warm tones for the season. I think you’ll really enjoy these patterns found in the paper which you focus on the Halloween side or the more neutral side like this one.
This card seemed to be a hit during the swap on Thursday evening. I have a quick video tutorial for you and PDF showing you how I created this card.
Enjoy and then stop back by next week when I’ll be sharing some of the swaps that I received in #BackStage Las Vegas with you!

Wow, I’m back from Vegas and another fantastic Stampin’ Up! event and sort of have my computer working, so I thought I’d share with you one of the cards that I made for my #BackStage swap in Las Vegas.
I really love the way they turned out and couldn’t pick a favorite color so I made several. I got a good response from my fellow swappers with this Annual Catalog stamp set which was nice too.
I couldn’t resist using the Construction Zone stamp set (161582) that was one of my first must haves but haven’t had time to play with. So since my computer was driving me nuts, I decided it was a great time to chill and create with this fun little set. And I had a blast so I’ll be sharing more tutorials with you soon.
Cute right? and it has some great all occasion sentiments. While my son is now in his 30s I can remember his love of his little tonka trucks and construction equipment. So I know that the cards I create with this set will bring a smile to his face, after all I think it is a great set for our guys all ages.
I chose Crushed Curry from the Regals Collection Designer Series Paper (161642) for my original design that I will share with you today for my tutorial, but as you can see fork lifts come in all colors so the Brights Collection works well too!
Want to see how I made this so you can make some too? Check out my Video tutorial below along with my PDF with measurements, supply list and step by step directions.
School is starting here in North Georgia and so I’ve been busy whipping up some treats for the teachers and staff at the school. These little treats are quick and easy and hold just a couple of Nuggets, so they are a great way to show a bit of appreciation or treat someone.
Want to make some too? Why not check out my quick little video and a PDF with the measurements and supply list for you too.
Done in Blueberry Bushel and Tahitian Tide it’s bright and cheerful. And while this stamp set has a coordinating Songbird Builder Punch (158726) giving it even more versatility this card is done with simple stamping. My daughter is a music teacher so I’m always creating thank you cards for her and figured this one will work well for her thank you cards that she’ll need for band camp this month. Want to see how I made it? Here is a quick Video and PDF Tutorial for you.
if you’d like to learn more about this fun little stamp set why not check it out in my Online Store.
The PDF has a full supply list and the measurements for you so you can make some too.
Today’s project is another fun Let’s Go Fishing Thinking of You card using the Go To Greetings stamp set (158763). I fell in love with this paper’s colors and patterns, especially the fish as we love to go to aquariums.
So here is another quick and easy card tutorial for you today.
And of course a PDF Tutorial with the complete supply list, step by step instructions and measurements. I even include the YouTube link so you’ll never loose it. Simply print it off and have everything in one place!
