Today’s card uses a quick and easy technique called Shadow Stamping. This technique creates a shadow effect simply by using two different colors of ink.

This card is bold and colorful and a great way to brighten someone’s day. Want to see how I did this technique and made the card? I’ve got a quick video tutorial for you and of course a PDF showing you a full supply list, measurements, and link to the video

It’s time to be Saying goodbye to Sweet & Precious

Did you know that the Sweet & Precious Stamp set (retiring 161588) has fun animal images and sentiments that are great for creating projects for young and old?

Check out these cards that use this stamp set. This first card is done in Flirty Flamingo and Copper Clay.

The Double Oval Punch (Retiring 154242) has been used for the sentiment and Nested Essentials Dies (161597) were used to cut out the giraffe. Doesn’t this image make a great baby or parent child themed project?

Here is a fun fold using the same image done in our In Color Wild Wheat.

It folds down flat for mailing and pops up for display.

And if you love this stamp set you’ll love our Wild & Sweet Stamp set (retiring 158775) too. Check out this lovely koala bear done in our Pebbled Path, another of our 2032-2025 In Colors.

And finally a fun card that uses the spotlight technique.

This technique is a great way to highlight part of an image like this card does. The Forever Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (retiring 162573) was used for the background and the Pretty Peacock & Gold 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon (162588) adds a bit of shimmer to the project.

Sale-a-bration’s Softly Sophisticated Bundle

If you love coordinating products you’ll love the Sale-a-bration option for the Softly Sophisticated Bundle which includes a lovely Embossing Folder.

Want to see some cards that use this fun bundle? This first card uses the lovely Pretty Peacock and it’s coordinating Pretty Peacock & gold 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon (162588) along with our Nested Essential Dies (161597).

This color combo is quite striking and the ribbon is gorgeous in person. The catalog just doesn’t do it justice. How about a card done in Bubble Bath and Wild Wheat?

This color combo can be found in our Poetic Expressions Designer Series Paper (162814). The little Happy Labels Pick a Punch (160693) has been used to add a soft edge to the sentiment layer.

And the final card today once again uses the Bubble Bath with another of our In Colors Moody Mauve.

A bit of sponging around the outside edge of the focal point and some embellishments adds a bit of texture.

How do you get this lovely bundle for FREE? During Sale-a-bration when you place a qualifying order you’ll get to choose a product of your choice and you can earn as many as you’d like before the end of February. How great is that?

Courage & Faith

Sometimes we just need a little faith and courage in life and this stamp set uses a lovely font to convey those all important things to our family and friends.

The Courage & Faith Stamp set (161500) was used to create this lovely Thanksgiving card.

The sentiment has been teamed up with the lovely All About Autumn Specialty Designer Series Paper (162178), Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (161600), and lovely Copper & Natural Ribbon Combo Pack (162192). The Deckled Rectangle Dies (159173) give the card a bit more texture and create a lovely focal point for the sentiment. And don’t you just love the Azure Afternoon and Copper Clay combination? Not a traditional fall color combo but it’s quite striking. This next card has a completely different feel with the soft muted colors found in the Hello Irresistible 6×6 Designer Series Paper (161139).

This card is also a fun fold that shows off the lovely patterns of the paper.

Did you know that this lovely Designer Series Paper is part of our Online Exclusives? What exactly does that mean? Have you found this to be kind of confusing? Well Online Exclusives are not found in our printed catalogs, but only in my Online Store. That doesn’t mean you can’t order it just like you normally would, it simply means to see it you’ll need to go to my Online Store.

And this last card uses some Gold & Vanilla 3/8″ Satin Edged Ribbon (159555) to make it shine!

The sentiment has been stamped in the Highland Heather and the boughs in Wild Wheat Classic Inks. It is amazing how the Wild Wheat gives it a feel of gold embossing when teamed up with the ribbon. Fun texture has been added with the Nested Essential Dies (161597) which draw your eye to the sentiment and Stitched with Whimsy Dies (155314) that borders the card front.

Got a favorite card from today’s post? Why not leave a comment and let me know your favorite? It’s amazing how one stamp set can give you such different looks, right?

A little Halloween fun with Them Bones

I’m a bit later sharing with you today, but it’s been rather crazy day with lots of appointments. I didn’t want to miss sharing these fun Halloween cards tho since the holiday is right around the corner.

The Them Bones Suite Collection (162222) is filled with fun images, dies, paper, and glow in the dark elements! Yes, GLOW in the dark, wow can that not be fun to create with? And whether you choose a few items from the collection or get the suite you’re sure to be able to create lots of fun items for your little ghosts and goblins this fall. Check out these fun cards using this suite.

This first card uses the ever versatile Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder (162189) as a backdrop to add lots of texture.

Color has been added to the embossed image and the edges of the layers with our Blending Brushes (153611). We’ve got two great sizes to choose from or you can even use our Sponge Daubers (133773) for smaller areas if you want a bit more control. Both are great for techniques like this depending on the look you desire. And this next card uses our Rose Gold Specialty Paper (159139) for a fun little shine.

Recognize the Designer Series Paper? It’s our backside to the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper (161289)! Isn’t it great the way our products work together? And finally a fun little card using the Nested Essentials Dies (161597)

Clever, right? This set of dies has 3 different shapes that are wonderful for all kinds of projects, even coffins! The bit of Black & White Gingham Ribbon (156485) has been colored using our Stampin’ Blends to coordinate with the project.

Fun? While the Suite is not available currently it will be back on the 25th or around then giving you plenty of time to get ready. And of course, you can always order the items separately since the 10% is for the Bag of Bones Bundle (162219) found in the Suite.
