Merry Christmas Wishes!

Merry Christmas everyone – I hope that you are able to spend today with your loved ones. I’m going to be spending mine quietly with my family but I wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and share with you a wonderful card that my upline Sue sent me. Isn’t it just beautiful? I thought this card that uses our Come to Bethlehem stamp set was fitting to post today.

Come to Bethlehem

I also thought I would share a Christmas card that I recently made using my sneak peek items from our upcoming Occasions Mini Catalog. Isn’t the Apothecary Art stamp set just beautiful? And you’re going to love our new coordinating Framelits Dies!

Apothecary Art

I’m going to take a long Christmas weekend, but I’ll be back in a couple of  days posting more sneak peeks along with my new events for January. So come back and see me then but first enjoy your Christmas!

Stocking Builder Punch

Can you believe Christmas is tomorrow? I’m still putting finishing touches on gift items that I have stamped for family and friends. I got side tracked playing with my new preorder items for the Occasions Mini that goes live January 4th. Want an Occasions Mini Catalog and haven’t received one yet because your not on my mailing list? Click HERE to get your copy or email me at jakmerck@windstream with your Name, Address, and Phone Number and I’ll be happy to put you on my list.

I recently got this beautiful card from one of my team members, Cindy. It showcases our Stocking Builder Punch from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Did you know that you can only get the Stocking Builder Punch while supplies last? Stampin Up! has announced they will not be carrying over this punch into our Idea Book & Catalog next summer. So if you’ve had your eye on it – don’t delay and get yours before it’s gone.

And here is a little gift I received from Cindy. Isn’t it too cute?

Snowman Soup

The little box behind the snowman made with our Top Note Die holds three cocoa packets. I thought it was clever the way she used our 1×8 Cello Bags from the Holiday Mini Catalog to hold the marshmallows for each packet of hot chocolate. And can you guess which punch she made the carrot with? It’s the Petite Pennant Punch, isn’t that clever?

Got Treats?

Today I’m sharing a couple more cards I received during swaps. This first one was given to me by Cindy Waldroff at the Charlotte Regional this fall. She uses the Got Treats and Every Little Bit Stamp Sets to create this cute little card. I love the way she used our Big Shot and the Designer Frame Oval embossing folder to highlight this little gingerbread man.

Got Treats?

This second card uses our cute little Jolly Bingo Bits stamp set to make this little Matchbook card. Quick and Simple.  Sorry the person who made it wasn’t listed on the card.

Bright Hopes for Christmas

Still need to make your holiday cards? Here are some great cards I received during the Charlotte Regional Swap earlier this year. I’m sorry I can’t give credit to whom ever made them. There were no names.

Delightful Decorations

This first card uses our Delightful Decorations stamp set and matching Ornament Punch. Don’t you love how punches make it sooo easy to make a quick card!

Hello Doily

And this second card uses our elegant Bright Hopes stamp set and the Pewter Embossing powder that you can find in the Holiday Mini Catalog along with the Perfect Pennants die and Hello Doily Background Stamp from the Idea Book & Catalog.

Petals-a-Plenty

Today I thought I would share with you the card that I mentioned in my December 2nd blog post HERE that we did for my technique club in November. It uses the Wax Paper Resist Technique and the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder. Which one do you like better?

Petals a Plenty

This next card I created using the Hand-Penned Holidays stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog and the Petals-a-Plenty Embossing Folder using the same technique. I will miss this set with its elegant script and it is sooo forgiving if you don’t get it lined up perfectly. Remember you only have until January 3rd to order those items you love from the Holiday Mini Catalog and why not check out the Clearance Rack at the same time – there are some wonderful deals going on right now.

Petals a Plenty

I hope everyone is enjoying this holiday season with family and friends. I love this time of year and now that both my children are out for their school breaks we are working around the house getting ready for Christmas. I finished all of my baking yesterday with the help of my oldest son, Johnathan. He loves to help me bake the Christmas cookies so he can snitch some and is sure he is getting his favorites too! It makes me feel good that he enjoys the holiday traditions we’ve built as a family over the years.
