Silly Safari Gate Fold Pop Up Card Tutorial

Today I’ve got another fun Pop Up Card tutorial for you – this bright and bold birthday card uses the fun little stamp set that is one of my favorites, Silly Safari Stamp set (169087).

It’s filled with fun little zoo animals and fun sentiments – it also comes in a money saving bundle that includes a circle punch making it super easy to use when you start out stamping.

My daughter is a huge zoo fan and we love to see different zoos when we travel, so I knew this would be a hit with her. How about you have a zoo fan in your family?

This Gate Fold Card shows off the Two Tone Card stock that is currently on Sale during August. This Card stock is a slightly lighter weight than our regular card stock AND highlights two tones of the same color which is nice too.

I’ve used the bold stripes and polka dots featured in the Brights Painted Patterns Designer Series Paper (167754) on sale too which makes it a great time to pick some up.

When you open the card you’ve got all these fun little animals smiling at you!

Here is a quick video tutorial and PDF so that you can make this fun little card too.

As always my pdf includes the video link, supply list and measurements for you.

Sunset Coast Torn Edge Technique Card Tutorial

I’ve got another fun card using the Sunset Coast Dies (167780) for you today this time using a quick and simple technique.

The torn edge – I love this technique since it always gives you a little different look based on how you tear the card stock. Now, when I was new to stamping this really bothered me as I wanted all my cards to look the same, but once you embrace the inconstancy you’ll find yourself tearing away!

Want to see the card? Here you go

I really like the way it turned out since the torn edge feels very natural to me.

Want to see how I created this card? I’ve got a little video tutorial for you. And of course, a PDF too!
