Masterfully Made Birthday Card Tutorial

Today’s card uses one of my favorite stamp sets, Go To Greetings Stamp set (retiring 158763). This stamp set has some great all occasions sentiments in different sizes making it a great one to have on hand.

I’ve teamed it up with our Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (Retiring 161192) with it’s wonderful bold images and textures.

I’m sad to see it will be gone soon since it is on the Last Chance List and only available while supplies last or the end of April. If you haven’t already you’ll want to check out the list in my Online Store.

I’ve created a quick video tutorial for you along with the PDF including the complete supply list, measurements, and more!

Fun with Sale-a-bration’s Jungle Pals

Love the zoo and all the animals? Have a little tiger of your own, or just love cute? The Jungle Pals Stamp Set (Sale-a-bration 162950) that you can earn during Sale-a-bration with a qualifying order is just too cute!

And with it’s coordinating dies, Jungle Pals Dies (Sale-a-bration 162973) that you can also earn for FREE it is sure to please.

I love the fact that this stamp set contains images only so you can team it up with the sentiment set of your choice or even our little Mini Alphabet Dies (162934) like this first card does.

Bright and colorful since it uses our Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (161192) as a backdrop it also uses the back side of our Softly Stippled Designer Series Paper (Sale-a-bration 162975) for the animals giving them both color and a textured feel. The Dies allow for the customized “Hi” greeting. Fun, right?

And this next card uses the neutral side of the Just Kiddin’ Designer Series Paper (162828) as a backdrop and to set the color pallet. The cute little animals are simply stamped and then the vine and grass Dies add a bit of bit of texture and color.

Finally the sentiment from the Perennial Postage Bundle (162608) have been used for the sentiment and the Petal Pink & Pretty Peacock Gems (162587) of course add a little shine which never hurts.

Bird’s Eye View & More

Love books? Then you might just enjoy creating with the Bird’s Eye View stamp set (161436) found in our Annual Catalog.

This set is filled with fun little images that immediately got me thinking about my years helping in our children’s elementary school library. A book lover myself the kids were always happy to have me asking questions about the latest series they were reading. Normally that meant a Harry Potter book, that was almost as big as them!

Today’s card is done in Fresh Freesia and uses the bold patterns of the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (161192) as a back drop. Speaking of those days, I thought I’d share this next card with you that uses the Coffee with Friends stamp set (161389). Coffee after working together was always a fun way of ending the day at our local coffee shop on the Lawrenceville square. While the shop is long gone the friendships have lasted.

My entry level coffee of choice was a latte back then. LOL and sent me down a path of regular coffee drinking and being on the look out for the next coffee shop to try out. Ah the lazy afternoons enjoying a cup with friends.

This card is done in our Lemon Lolly and Azure Afternoon, a lovely soft combo. It uses our Stampin’ Blends to add color to the focal point and a bit of texture has been added to the background with simple stamping and our Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (156505).

I always enjoy sending a card like this to my old friends when it’s been too long since we’ve gotten together, the sentiments are perfect. (And I must admit I’ve got a thing for coffee themed sets.) How about you? Do you have someone you like to catch up with over a cup of coffee?

Masterfully Made Hello Card Tutorial

Today’s card uses the bright & bold Designer Series Paper Masterfully Made.

I think Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (161192) is pretty cool with it’s faux layers created with different papers and it’s got tone of texture on it’s own so it’s great for a project like this.

I’ve teamed this up with the Layering Leaves stamp set (161277) to create a cheerful hello card for a friend. Don’t you love the all occasions sentiments in this set? The font is just lovely too.

Here is Georgia we get a lot of rainy or cloudy days in the winter and I wanted to send something cheerful. Want to see the card?

Done in Pretty Peacock and Berry Burst – it’s sure to make my friend smile. What do you think? Bright and cheerful?

I’ve also got a quick little video for you so you can make some too.

And don’t forget the printable PDF with a full supply list, measurements, and even a step by step tutrorial with the video link on it!

Translucent Florals

I always like to have a all occasions stamp set to create cards with and the Translucent Florals Bundle (162252)

fills this need with it’s lovely images and coordinating dies. This stamp set is one of our Distinktive stamps, so it has a watercolor look built right into it making it create wonderful images easily. Check out these card using this stamp set.

This first card is done in bright cheerful colors and uses the Countryside Blossoms Embossing Folder (161473) to add a bit of texture to the background. The flower itself has been die cut and a bit of the Calypso Coral has been sponged in the center before stamping to create a multicolored image. And of course a bit of shine was added in the bottom corner with our Glossy Dot Assortment (158146). And this next card uses the pattern from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (161192) to set the tone.

I just love the fresh soft feel of this card done in Fresh Freesia, Basic Gray, and Granny Apple Green. The image has been highlight with our Deckled Circle Dies (162286) which instantly adds a bit of texture. A few of our Tinsel Gems Three Pack (161624) add some more texture along with the Basic White Baker’s Twine from the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475).

And finally a fun little technique using the dies and our Vellum Basics Specialty Designer Series Paper (160839).

Color has been added to our Vellum and then the petals die cut and layered to create these sheer flowers. A bit of shine has been added with the Festive Pearls (159963) and More Dazzle Specialty Paper (160838) and a bit of texture with the Stripes & Splatters 3D Embossing Folder (157980).

So what do you think? Whether you get the bundle and save 10% or just the Translucent Florals stamp set (162243) I think you’ll find this is a fun set to create with.

Fun, Colorful Card using the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper

I had my team meeting earlier this month and today I’m sharing a couple of the cards that were swapped. Each month my team creates and shares a project with each other, this is called a swap. They are lots of fun and we get to share what we are making.

This first swap uses the Designer Series Paper to create a fun colorful card.

The little letters have been cut from the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (161640) stack, do you see it on the top row?

And the fun colorful background on the card front is from the Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (161192). It’s also been used to cover the envelope flap. Change up the letters and you can create all kinds of cards. Fun, right?

This second card uses the Paper Pumpkin Add On

This set of cards and envelopes is great with the Perched in a Tree Stamp set like this card uses or any nature geared stamp set or dies.

You’re going to love this set of cards with the 3 designs, and you can find these products in my Online Store. One of the things I love about being a Paper Pumpkin subscriber is that we have access to these fun Add-Ons that they off to coordinate with the kits.
