Fun, right? Who doesn’t love a card that has movement. And monochromatic cards are great since they can be created using your favorite color or the favorite color of the person you’ll be sending it to making it a quick and simple way to customize your card for that special someone.
The 2024-2026 In Colors are retiring so if you haven’t gotten to stock up on your favorite colors right now is a great time to do so since they are while supplies last.
Yesterday I shared a quick and easy monochromatic card with you using the Lifetime of Love stamp set (Last Chance 162574) so today I thought I’d share another card that was created with this stamp set.
Today’s card has a totally different feel to it since it uses our Petal Pink and Gray Granite to create this lovely wedding card along with a simple masking technique.
The flowers were first stamped onto the Basic White Card stock panel and then a simple mask was used to cover the flowers. After the leaves were stamped using Old Olive to create this layered color look. Fun right? Simply stamp the flower image onto masking paper or a sticky note and cut out and you’re ready to go.
This card is also a fun fold called a joy fold card that is so simple to do! This card uses a 8 inch Basic White panel that has been scored at 4 3/4″. It creates a panel large enough to hide the inside sentiment when the outside sentiment is opened.
Here are a couple of photos showing you the flap portion of the card.
Lovely right? Who wouldn’t enjoy receiving this card on their special day?
Inspiring hope and having a bit of faith, today’s card wraps those things up in a Double Gate Fold card. The beautiful colors and serene scenes that the Thoughtful Journey Designer Series Paper (163303) include are perfect for a card like this I think.
You can see the full card inside and out in my video tutorial today, so why not take a few minutes to check it out. While the sentiments this card uses is the something old, the beautiful scenes are the something new so you can still create this project using your favorite sentiment set if you done have the retired Unbounded Love stamp set.
It’s that time of year to look back at 2025 and say goodbye. When I was a teenager one of my favorite things was listening to the countdown on the radio of the years hits. Now I watch the year in review on the news – It reminds me of many things I’ve already forgotten as the year seems to fly by.
So this week I thought I’d share a look back with you, some “silver & gold” from my craft room – this childhood song is about making friends. I’ve always like the meaning of the friendship song of making new friends and keeping the old – “some are silver and the others gold”. How about you?
I’ve teamed this paper up with the retired Thoughtful Wishes Stamp set and Dies which are retired. You might already have this on your shelves, if not you can use another sentiment set that you love.
Here is my video tutorial and PDF for you – the PDF includes a complete supply list and measurements.
Enjoy a bit of crafting during this holiday week and don’t forget to stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing another tutorial with you that focuses on the new and old. Tomorrow’s card I’ll be sharing will be a fun fold card.
Snowflakes… a weather wonder with their different shapes and sizes as they fall from the sky. I can remember the joy the first snowfall created as a child and later the hope for a snow day with my children and a chance to build a snowman.
This card while shows off snowflakes is a wonderful card to send someone you love.
And the sentiments easily can be used through out the winter and for Valentine’s Day too making it a great choice for your crafting needs.
This card is also a fun fold that is easy to create. The base is your typical 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ that is scored in half. Then you simply cut slits on each side of the card front at the 1″ mark from the edge down to the center score line. Adhere those two flaps to the card base and decorate.

Then stop back by next week when I’ve got some special tutorials for you.
Lights in the Sky, the magical Northern Lights have been seen recently as far as North Georgia where I live. Something I thought I’d never get to experience unless I went to Alaska, now I can’t wait to see them in all their glory next year!
This card not only shows off this beautiful paper but is also a fun fold, called the Fold Back Card. You open the card by folding back the right edge, which allows the sentiment to swing back and the card to open.
The inside shows off more of the lovely paper. This card uses one full sheet of the 6×6 since the two larger panels are 3″ x 5 1/4″ and the small panel is the last little bit from the top 3/4″ “waste” piece and measures 3/4″ x 5 1/4″.
How do you make this fun fold? It’s so simple, simply score your 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ card base in the center like normal at the 4 1/4″ mark and then score again at the 7 1/2″. Decorate the panels as desired and then add the sentiment (or another element) that creates the closure. You’ll want to pop this element up on the 1″ section only to create a bit of height so it swings easily. That’s it! So simple but definitely a wow kind of card. Why not give it a try?
Done in Old Olive, Pecan Pie and Basic Beige for a warmer fall feel, this card opens from the center to reveal the message inside. Want to see how I created this card? Check out my tutorial below along with the PDF with the measurements and more.

Today’s post is going to be quick since I’m in the middle of my annual consignment sale this morning.
This week’s tutorial uses the Hugs & Healing stamp set (Last Chance Online Exclusive 165518). If you’re an animal lover or have family and friends who are this set is a great one to add to your collection.
Today’s card is a fun fold called a Dutch Door fold since it shows off the Designer Series Paper no the inside of the card and when you open it you’ll see your sentiment on the bottom of the inside.
Want to see how I created this card? I’ve made a quick tutorial for you.
Today I’m thinking spring so I’ll be sharing a tutorial with you that I’ve done in the soft Pretty in Pink, one of our 2024-2026 In Colors. This card uses a simple fun fold and highlights the Designer Series Paper (163777) in addition to the Spotlight on Nature stamp set (163579).

The thrill of the open skies and freedom to fly. The biplane reminds me of the movies from WWI and Snoopy. Yes Snoopy, the Flying Ace, sitting on his roof with his scarf flying behind him battling the Red Baron.
The Take to the Sky Suite of Products (163832) is filled with wonderful images and sentiments perfect for those men in our lives and ladies too who love the adventures of the sky.
This Suite includes the Adventurous Sky Bundle (163447) that is currently part of our Bundle Sale that ends on Sunday, June 30th.
Check out these cards that were created with the Suite. This first card uses one of the tags from the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper (163436) and a bit of the plane pattern paper.
A bit of stamping using the industrial stamp image has been done on the Smoky Slate panel using Smoky Slate Classic Ink for a tone on tone look that is subtle. The tag has been layered onto a piece of Copper Clay Card stock and Paper Snips have been used to copy the angle of the tag. A bit of our Pebble Path 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim (161637) has been used on the tag and adds some texture to the card.
These next two cards step it up with some fun folds. This first card uses the Center Panel Pop Out Fun Fold.
with just a couple of score lines you’ve got a great card that will stand up.
packing tape was applied over the top of the two panels giving it a metallic shine. Such a quick and easy technique that definitely gives this fun fold a wow factor.
