Simply Said Fun Fold Birthday Card Tutorial

Need a quick and easy birthday card? I love the Simply Said Mix & Match Stamp set (163756) for this kind of card since it contains all kinds of sentiments.

And the font is a fun one too since it’s a nice bold birthday sentiment with a companion sentiment for inside.

So today’s card is for one of the men in my life and I thought the colors found in the plaids from the Timeless Plaid 6×6 Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive 164678) was a perfect backdrop for this sentiment.

Here is today’s card

Done in Old Olive, Pecan Pie and Basic Beige for a warmer fall feel, this card opens from the center to reveal the message inside. Want to see how I created this card? Check out my tutorial below along with the PDF with the measurements and more.

Celebrate Today with Artistic Leaves

Do you have a harder time creating masculine cards? If so today’s card might be just the thing you need for a upcoming birthday. Using the Artistic Leaves stamp set  (Online Exclusive 166162)

and a bit of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) I think this card is perfect for a guy in your life celebrating their birthday or a special event.

What do you think?

This card feels like it has a lot of texture to it too. The simple stamping and a torn edge technique used for the bottom edge Secret Sea Card stock and Designer Series Paper is a quick and simple way to add texture to any project. The Spotlight on Nature Dies (163580) and Stylish Shapes Dies (Online Exclusive 159183) add a bit more along with the ribbon and 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) that add a bit of shine too.

Can you see this as a wonderful card to send the men in your life this fall? Change out the colors and sentiments and you’ve got a great autumn card too! Or use green tones for a fun summer card for someone who loves nature!

Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing another fun tutorial with you!

Awesome Trusty Tools

The Trust Tools Stamp Set (163274) and Dies (162722) is a fun one for my family, we’ve been doing home improvements for as long as I can remember.

And our children joined us in projects from a young age learning as we did. So this stamp set was one that I know I would use over and over again.

Today’s card is one I thought was great as soon as I saw it and I could see myself CASING.

The background stamped using the Painted Stripes stamp (Online Exclusive 165437) uses our rich Secret Sea, an 2025-2027 In Color . The little paint brush has been colored with our Blender Pens (102845) and Classic Ink Pads. This way of adding color has added depth and shade variances to the image. The piece of Basic Beige 3/8″ Classic Ribbon (165216) adds a fun bit of texture to the project.

What do you think? Do you like this card as much as I do? If you are a DYI person I think you’ll enjoy this stamp set and dies too.

Loveliest Tree

Today’s card uses a lovely little stamp set that is great for creating masculine cards and more with it’s all occasions sentiments.

Loveliest Tree Bundle (163716) has coordinating dies to work with too. Check out today’s Thank You card that uses this stamp set.

Done in shades of Old Olive and Pecan Pie this card feels like it has a lot of texture. The simple technique of using our Stampin’ Write Markers has been used to add color to this tree. When doing this technique don’t forget to use the side of the tip to protect it and then breathing on it to reactivate the ink for a great image.

I love the way out products work so well together. Would you guess the Cute as Can Bee Designer Series Paper (Scrapbook Brochure 166621) and Cute as Can Bee Scrapbook Workshop Kit (Scrapbook Brochure 166622) papers have been used with their geographic patterns and the Gold Foil Sheets (132622) and Basic Rhinestones Jewels (144220) add some shine?

Adventurous Sky

The thrill of the open skies and freedom to fly. The biplane reminds me of the movies from WWI and Snoopy. Yes Snoopy, the Flying Ace, sitting on his roof with his scarf flying behind him battling the Red Baron.

The Take to the Sky Suite of Products (163832) is filled with wonderful images and sentiments perfect for those men in our lives and ladies too who love the adventures of the sky.

This Suite includes the Adventurous Sky Bundle (163447) that is currently part of our Bundle Sale that ends on Sunday, June 30th.

Check out these cards that were created with the Suite. This first card uses one of the tags from the Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper (163436) and a bit of the plane pattern paper.

A bit of stamping using the industrial stamp image has been done on the Smoky Slate panel using Smoky Slate Classic Ink for a tone on tone look that is subtle. The tag has been layered onto a piece of Copper Clay Card stock and Paper Snips have been used to copy the angle of the tag. A bit of our Pebble Path 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim (161637) has been used on the tag and adds some texture to the card.

These next two cards step it up with some fun folds. This first card uses the Center Panel Pop Out Fun Fold.

with just a couple of score lines you’ve got a great card that will stand up.

The Take to the Sky Designer Series Paper (163436) adds a quick and easy background to this card. The Perennial Postage Dies (162607) have been used to cut out the sentiment and the fun little Industrial Trinkets (163450) add some shine and texture to the project. Add a quick signature panel to the back and your set to send!

And finally a card using not only a fun fold called the Twisted Fold, but also a simple technique!

This card uses simple stamping and the plane and clouds stamped in Boho Blue as it’s focal point that has been layered on our Stylish Shapes Dies (159183). The plane has one of those fun Industrial Trinkets (163450) for the center of it’s propeller. The card base has been dry embossed using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder (160580) and a bit of

packing tape was applied over the top of the two panels giving it a metallic shine. Such a quick and easy technique that definitely gives this fun fold a wow factor.

So what do you think? Are you liking the Take to the Sky Suite of Products? If so did you know right now during our Bundle Sale you can get this Bundle for an additional 10% off, making a total savings of 20%!

But you’ll want to make sure to get this bundle now before the sale ends on Sunday, June 30th or while supplies last.

Loads of Fun Card Tutorial

Today’s card uses one of my favorite sets, as it holds a special meaning for myself and my son.

When my son Johnathan was a toddler he was fascinated by all the heavy equipment that we would pass by as we went places, so I learned all the names and the differences as he grew up. Let me tell you it wasn’t easy keeping up with him as he knew them all. LOL.

So today I’m going to share another card with you that I created using this Construction Zone stamp set (161582) and our Regals Collection Designer Series Paper (retiring 161642).

I’ve shared several tutorials over the months with you since I really enjoy this little set. I really hate to see it retire as it is always harder to find masculine sets for out little builders.

Here is a quick video tutorial for you

along with my PDF that includes a complete supply list and measurements so you can create this card too!

Construction Zone Card Tutorial

Today’s card is one I created as a OnStage swap in Houston. I just love this little Construction Zone stamp set (161582) with it’s fun little images and have shared a number of tutorials with you using it.

I’ve chose to do it in bold colors and the Stampin’ Blends make that easy to do.

While looking through my stash I found an unlike choice for the Designer Series Paper, the Zoo Crew Designer Series Paper (161304) with it’s fun black & white patterns.

I chose this pattern because it made me think of tire tracks. This card was so quick and easy to create. Check out my video tutorial.

Want to make this card? I’ve got a printable PDF for you today that includes everything you need, even the video link.
