Joyful Tidings

Looking for a lovely stamp set with traditional images and sentiments for your holiday cards and projects? Why not check out the Joyful Tidings Stamp set (165944).

This first card teams up the images with the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) and it’s warm colors to create a feeling of the outdoors.

The fun Real Red Shiny Ribbon (165876) adds a pop of color along with the Iridescent Pearls (158987) that have been colored with a Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend. A simple technique that you can use for all kinds of accessories.

The next card uses the same bough image but creates a full wreath stamped in Old Olive.

The sentiment has been stamped in a soft Pecan Pie Classic Ink and ties into the lovely Irregular Weave 3/8″ Trim (165903). The Regal Distressed Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper (164037) adds a bit of gold foiling which adds elegance in the background along with the Iridescent Pearls.

Festive Friends

Are you a Peanuts fan? I grew up watching the Charlie Brown Christmas special so it was the first thing that went through my mind when I saw this fun little line art tree in the Festive Friends Bundle (Online Exclusive 166039).

Along with this cute little tree there are 3 great images that are quick and easy to color. Check out today’s card made with this set.

I love this quick and easy card that highlights this tree and the fun little stand that has been created with a couple of pieces of our Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393). Clever right? to add interest to the background a easy technique has been used to add the speckle in the background.

How is it done? Create a mask for your snowman and use a toothbrush dipped in a bit of Secret Sea reinker and run your finger across the bristles to fleck or flick the tooth brush to create this fine misty look. A bit messy, so remember to protect your work service, but a lot of fun!

A Delightful Decorative Dots (165915) was used as the tree topper, but you could also use those fun little Faceted Snowflakes (Online Exclusive 166077). Both are found in our Mini Catalog.

Celebrate Today with Artistic Leaves

Do you have a harder time creating masculine cards? If so today’s card might be just the thing you need for a upcoming birthday. Using the Artistic Leaves stamp set  (Online Exclusive 166162)

and a bit of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) I think this card is perfect for a guy in your life celebrating their birthday or a special event.

This card feels like it has a lot of texture to it too. The simple stamping and a torn edge technique used for the bottom edge Secret Sea Card stock and Designer Series Paper is a quick and simple way to add texture to any project. The Spotlight on Nature Dies (163580) and Stylish Shapes Dies (Online Exclusive 159183) add a bit more along with the ribbon and 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) that add a bit of shine too.

Can you see this as a wonderful card to send the men in your life this fall? Change out the colors and sentiments and you’ve got a great autumn card too! Or use green tones for a fun summer card for someone who loves nature!

Textured Notes

The Textured Notes Bundle (Online Exclusive 165556) is one of those bundles that has great images that have lots of depth and a fun set of versatile dies.

Today’s card is done in shades of Midnight Muse and Gray Granite.

The texture is carried though out the card since the Textured Notes (Online Exclusive 165555) also have some texture around the outer edges that is built in. The Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) gives this background a worn natural feel that works perfectly with the images, Pressed Flower Motifs (165215), and Cloud Cover 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon (165271).

Thoughtful Wishes Thank You Card

Today’s card uses a Multi Color Technique that you can do with our Stampin’ Write Markers. This was a fun technique and one of the first ones I learned when I began stamping. Stampin’ Write Markers are a great value and give you lots of coloring options since they come in sets. This particular card uses our 2023-2025 In Color Stampin’ Write Markers (Last Chance 161695) and the Thoughtful Wishes Stamp set (Last Chance 163305).

I’ve created a quick tutorial for you so you can learn how to create this card and use this fun technique along with a PDF tutorial too.

Terrific Toadstools

Today’s cards all use the Terrific Toadstools Bundle (164790), a fun little bundle that you can find in the Mini Catalog.

Since this bundle includes the Terrific Toadstools Builder Punch (164789) it makes projects quick and easy too. Check out these cards using this bundle of products.

This first card uses bright bold colors to create a fun little card to say hi to a friend. While this next card uses a more earthy approach.

Done in Crushed Curry, Daffodil Delight, Pecan Pie, and Garden Green it teams up with the wonderful Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) to add a bit of interest and texture to the project’s background. The stamped images are die cut using the Countryside Corner Dies (161471) and frame with a coordinating die. Champagne Iridescent Dots (162824) add a fun little iridescent shine to the project.

And finally how about some out of the box thinking with these little mushrooms? Today’s final card uses the the stamp set to create fun little jellyfish in fun tropical colors.

Watercolor World

It’s June and that means graduations and celebrating a new chapter in life and celebrating new adventures. So today I’m sharing some cards that use the Watercolor World (160708) and some fun techniques.

This first card uses a quick and easy technique that adds multiple colors to a stamp. This is great for larger images like this world map image.

Using a Blending Brush or Sponge Dauber each of the colors Gorgeous Grpe, Blueberry Bushel, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie and Real Red have been added to the image. Breathing on the stamp to reactivate the ink and then stamping. Quick and easy, but wow it make a cool image, right? Next the sentiment has been stamped on a strip of Basic White where the ends were punched using the Happy Labels Pick a Punch (160693). The sentiment has been popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals on the card front and a few Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls (163416) have been added below. A colorful way to celebrate that next chapter.

And this next card uses Heat Embossing to create a glossy map.

After the map has been stamped onto Smoky Slate Card stock VersaMark has been used to cover the whole panel and Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (165679) poured over the top. Our Heat Tool (129053) was used to heat the embossing powder and create a shinny look. Add your favorite sentient like this one used from the Beside Me stamp set (160780). Then add a bit of ribbon like the XX which adds a bit of sparkle and you have an understated elegant card like this one.

And finally this last card uses our Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) and simple stamping.

Stamped in Pecan Pie onto the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) there is lots of texture and interest and a bit of Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475) added a bit more.

Trusty Tools & more

Father’s Day is right around the corner so today I thought I’d share some wonderful cards to celebrate those Dads in our lives. The Trusty Tools Stamp Set (163274) includes great all occasions sentiments along with

sentiments for Dad in addition it has a set of Trusty Tools Dies (162722) that coordinates and gives you even more options.

This first card made with the set uses the die to create a pegboard background and is done in Real Red, Blueberry Bushel and Gray Granite. The word Dad has been stamped and cut out with Paper Snips and Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems (161288) were added to recreate the pegs they hang from. For a more nature look this next card uses the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393)

to create a backdrop for the tools and sentiment. A bit of Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475) wrapped around the layered panel adds a bit more color and texture. And for a final card today using this stamp set a simple thank you card.

The brushes are “dipped” into the Classic Ink and then dragged to create the paint look for this cool look. Our Metallics Enamel Effects Basic (161610) were used to create the dots on the metal band for each brush and the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (160766) adds a bit of industrial feel to the background.

How about turning our eyes to the sky with this next card? The Take to the Sky Suite Collection (163832) includes everything you need to create wonderful projects with it’s shades of blue. The Adventurous Sky Bundle (163447) makes me think of my step father who took flying lessons when I was in high school. I was so proud of him when he was able to fly solo!

This card is a fun fold called a Criss Cross Card and have a fun way it opens. The little flap that is created with the fold

can be used to hold a sentiment or even a gift card

Do you love simple stamping and an easy technique? This next card using the Beside Me stamp set (160780) has been stamped on Very Vanilla Card Stock using Crumb Cake Classic Ink.

The background has been dry embossed with the Hammered Metal 3D Embossing Folder (160766) and Early Espresso Classic Ink has been sponged across the texture to highlight it.

My final card today uses the Gone Fishing stamp set (161535) and coordinating Gone Fishing Dies (161541) and is perfect for those dads who love to fish. A piece of the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) mimics the stamped water in the bottom left section of the “tackle box”.

Country Birdhouse

I always enjoy this time of year with the birds gathering their supplies to build their nests. From the Swallows that return each year that swoop up dirt and water from around the yard to the Bluebirds that use the houses on the field posts that my son built years ago. The flurry of activity is always fun to watch. So today’s cards remind me of that spring cycle.

The Country Birdhouse Bundle (163401) is part of the Country Woods Suite of Products (163418) of products and contains all kinds of fun options to craft with.

This first card uses simple stamping to create the backdrop for this little blue bird. While the Dies were used to cut out the bird to create depth and the lovely flowers add some wonderful texture.

This next card also uses the new In Color, Peach Pie to create a fun panel card using the 2024-2026 In Color Designer Series Paper (163777) to add interest and shows off 2 of the paper’s patterns.

The House has been cut using the Purple Posy pattern from the pack and the bird has been colored using a third In Color, Summer Splash. You can also see the Shy Shamrock that has been used for the leaves. Making it 4 of the 5 New In Colors for 2024. Fun right? And of course the 2024-2026 In Color Resin Dots (163389) add a pop of color and texture along with the Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475).

This last card uses the Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) and embellishment, Basic Gray & Smoky Slate Pearls (163416) from the Suite to create a birdhouse with lots of texture. The Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) is wonderful with its wood images done in multiple varieties of wood and colors. You’ll want to be sure to check it out for all kinds of crafting projects.
