OnStage Swaps – Heartfelt Hexagon

today’s cards all use the Heartfelt Hexagon stamp set (162882) and it’s coordinating punch the Heartfelt Hexagon Punch (162888).

This first card uses our retiring 2022-2024 In Colors and simple stamping to create a lovely birthday card.

And the bit of Linen Thread (104199) tied in a bow adds a nice little bit of texture. This next card uses the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (Retiring 161640) to set the tone.

The Starry Sky 1/8″ Metallic Woven Ribbon (Retiring 159198) and Tinsel Gems Three Pack (161624) add a bit of shimmer to the sentiment punched out with the Lasting Label Punch (Retiring 158651) for a little different look.

These next three cards use the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder (162935) to create a subtle background for the sentiments. This first card is done in Sweet Sorbet and uses a strip of Gold Foil Sheets (132622).

While this next card teams the gold foil up with Very Vanilla and the Gold & Vanilla 3/8″ Satin Edged Ribbon (Retiring 159555) for a very elegant look.

And finally a monochromatic card done in Azure Afternoon and Starry Sky

A bit of the 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Retiring 161635) adds a pot of texture and shimmer with it’s stitched edge.

#OnStage Fun & More

Today I’ve got some more swaps to share with you that I got during OnStage in Houston. It’s a variety of sets and dies that were used to create the floral inspired cards that I’ll be sharing today, so there is a little bit of everything.

This first card using the Circle Sayings Stamp set (Retiring 161348) for it’s sentiment and the fun Shutter Card Technique

The lovely Masterfully Made Designer Series Paper (Retiring 161192) is surrounded by our lovely Fresh Freesia strips. And this next card is the Gorgeously Made Bundle (161203)

And this next one uses some beautiful Stampin’ Blends and gold embossing powder to create a striking card.

The Enduring Beauty Bundle (162674), Distressed Gold Specialty Paper (Retiring 159237), Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (161600), and Adhesive Backed Dragonfly & Birds (Online Exclusive 162743).

And how about quick and easy? This next card using the Fresh as a Daisy Designer Series Paper (161289) and Thoughtful Moments Hybrid Embossing Folder (162927)

creates a striking card. A bit of color added with the Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends adds some color to the sentiment and some texture has been added behind it with the 2023-2025 In Color Jute Trim (161637) and Adhesive Backed Solid Gems (Retiring 161300). The last two cards today use the Cheerful Daisies stamp set (161290).

This first card uses simple stamping and this final one uses a quick and simple Faux Tile Technique. What’s that? It’s a simple grid of 1 inch squares created with your Score Board.

And now a little bit about OnStage Houston. Stampin’ Up! displays are always the best, bright, colorful, tons of texture, and of course new products. A winning combination for sure. During our mid day lunch we were also given time in the Product Playground which was filled with lots of displays and information including the two new kits that will be released on April 2nd. I think you’re going to love them, stay tuned for more information when they go live!

Here I am in front of our new In Color Glitter Paper display – wow you’re going to love this paper!

Ribbon, touch feel and tie – the new ribbon is lovely.

And how about some color combos?

Display boards for projects shared with us during presentations that were filled with creative inspiration and highlighted some of the new products.

During this event Leaders that attended also had a VIP lounge

that was filled with goodies and treats during the morning and afternoon. Even these fun logo refillable cups – perfect for coffee or tea on the go for the event which is always a hit!

What a great treat to be able to stop by, pick up something, or visit with others in a quiet area. Can you say feeling pampered? OnStage this year was fantastic!

If this is something you think you may enjoy why not join my team and join me next year in Raleigh?

More #OnStage fun and swaps

Today I’m sharing some of my swaps from #OnStage Houston using the Pets & More (Online Exclusive 163607) a set filled with fun animal images.

This set is a reversable set that allows you to use the both the back side and the detailed front side too. Check out these lovely cards using the set.

This first card teams up the set with the Doggone Friendly Stamp (162729) using it as a backdrop highlighting this pooch.

The sentiment comes from the Sweetly Scripted Stamp set (Online Exclusive 163600). A few of our Adhesive Backed Solid Gems (Retiring 161300) add a bit of texture . And next we have this fun little card with a cut out

that was created with the Modern Oval Punch (162234). The pup has been stamped in Pecan Pie Classic Ink and uses the stamp off method to create different shades. A bit of Linen Thread (104199) as been used to create some interest along with the Delightfully Eclectic Designer Series Paper (Retiring 161640).

And for the last card today here is a bright and cheerful card using a little Basic Rhinestones Jewels (144220) to add some bling to the colar.

After all Rhinestones make everything sparkle!

I think if you are a animal lover, you’ll love this set with it’s choices. And as someone who has just added 2 babies to our family I know it is a hit here in our house! Here is a picture of our pups Kona and Hana after their first official grooming at 6 months. The little one, Hana didn’t leave Kona’s bows alone long. lol

OnStage Houston was a lot of fun, yesterday I shared what we did the first day of the event, so today I thought I’d share a bit more. Of course the there was a lot of excitement as we got a copy of the 2024 Annual Catalog and our first peek inside the covers!

Swaps and swap boards are always a highlight of any Stampin’ Up! event.

And there were a lot of boards to get inspiration from

At lunch we got to play with some of our new products that are part of the quick & easy options from the new 2024 Annual catalog. A great new stamp sentiment set, Simply Said (163756) and our new Calming Creek Cards & Envelopes (163753), Labels & Layers (163764), and Fully Flowering Ephemera Packs (163762).

In addition we had an evening event to celebrate our achievements

and had a prize patrol for all attendees. The evening also

included some treats and a fun party afterwards – here was a view from our room. My husband was wondering what in the world was going on with all those flashing lights!

It was a full day to be sure with a lot of sharing, learning, and fun!

#OnStage Houston and more

Whew. I’m catching back up after returning from Houston and the fantastic Stampin’ Up! event there. So today I thought I’d share some photos and some of the swaps I received during the event.

Stampin’ Up! outdid themselves with this event and the excitement was high – it’s been along time since we have been able to gather like this. My husband, Larry joined me for this event since we have family in Houston and would spend some time with them after.

Yep, that’s my cutie enjoying a bit of lazy river time on top of the Marriott with myself and other demonstrators before check in time for the event. He seemed to enjoy the energy that surrounded him and I had a hard time getting him to give me back my bag as I got ready for the General Session to start. Check out the goodies our Summer Splash trimmed backpack was filled with. A fun crafting bag tucks in the bottom and slides out through the pocket and a coordinating pencil “cup” bag in our new In Color Pretty in Pink.

A wonderful beginning for sure where I had a lovely opportunity to connect with some new stamping friends. A quick dinner at the Saltgrass Steak House with some yummy food

and then on to After Hours and some on hand stamping fun with new products from the 2024 Annual Catalog!

Hundreds of us filled the space for an full evening of stamping, laughter, and fun. Everyone was excited to see the new products and In Colors! They sure didn’t disappoint. I choose one of the Bundles, Spotlight on Nature (163579) that was offered since it has some great images and basic shape dies.

I’m looking forward to sharing these projects and more with you soon. Along with more photos from the event throughout this week.

Now how about some swaps? I thought I’d share of my Easter swaps with you since it is right around the corner. There were some really cute projects swapped for Easter here are a few that I received.

This first one is a fun little 3d treat holder that uses the Diaper Fold.

This little treat uses our Excellent Eggs Bundle (Retiring 162808) and our Subtles Designer Series Paper (Retiring 161644). And this soft and sweet card also uses the Excellent Eggs Dies (Retiring 162807) in the background for the little bunny but has a totally different feel to it.

The sentiment has been punched out using the Double Oval Punch (Retiring 154242) and the sweet little bow was created using the 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Retiring 161635). Sweet, right?

And finally a bright and cheerful card using the Easter Bunny Stamp set (Retiring 160272) and Easter Bunny Punch (Retiring 160331).

Isn’t the little pompom adorable for the tail? Colored with Crumb Cake Blends to pull in the dry embossed background using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder (160580) and cheerful Glorious Gingham 6×6 Designer Series Paper (Retiring 163170). The Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) were used to cut both the opening for the bunny and sentiment.

That’s it for the day. Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some more photos and swaps with you.

#OnStage & Swapping fun!

Wow, I just got back from another fun Stampin’ Up! event in Jacksonville and as usual it was a blast! It’s definitely wonderful to gather again after so long and the energy was high, even with having to drive through the tropical rains of the hurricane as I went south. lol You never know what weather will bring here in the south.

Anyhow, I thought I’d start by sharing some of the fun swaps that I received over the next couple of days from my fellow stampers. The selection covered a wide range and it’s always sooo much fun to see what everyone creates. I’m going to start with the 3d items, as they are what drew me to stamping in the first place.

This first one is so clever for the fall and thanksgiving

And speaking of fall here is a lovely card made with the Hello Harvest Bundle.

And this next one uses the Very Best Occasions and our sweet little Bells embellishments (159980)

along with a card using the same set.

And these next 2 cards use the Santa’s Delivery Bundle

The belly band on this card when removed reveals a fun fold card.

And how about some cards made with the Sweet Candy Cane Bundle?

And my final card today uses the Christmas Banners Bundle

Wow, right? That’s it for today, why not leave me a comment and let me know your favorite? Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing more from OnStage with you!

In the Moment Masking Technique Card Tutorial

I’m off to the Stampin’ Up! event #OnStage in Jacksonville and am excited to be able to gather with other Demonstrators a live event. So in preparation for another fun Stampin’ Up! event I’ve create this card to swap while I’m there.

This card uses the simple masking technique to create a monochromatic image as it’s focal point. I really like how it turned out. The Blending Brush gives it a soft subtle edge and creates a nice contrast to the bold colors behind it.

Want to see how I made it? I’ve created a Video Tutorial for you and also a PDF with the complete supply list, measurement, and step by step instructions.

Sunkissed & More

Today I’ve got some more cards for you from Back Stage’s Sweets & Swaps event and I thought I’d start with a lovely tropical all occasions set from the July – December Mini Catalog, Sunkissed (159908).

This set is filled with lovely sketched images that can be used with all kinds of coloring techniques and can be teamed up with our Paradise Palms stamp set (157716) and coordinating Palms dies (157718) for even more options. Check out this card that uses our Watercolor Pencils (141709 & 149014) to add color to the stamped image.

This next card uses those same Palm Dies to create this lovely silhouette image that has been teamed up with the sentiment from Sunkissed.

Texture has been added to the back ground with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing folder (156505) and a bit more with the stitched edges on the Stylish Shapes Dies (159183). And take a look at this striking card that uses our Blending Brushes (153611) to create a wonderful back drop for the sentiment.

The Heron Habitat Bundle (158897) is quite striking done in the Starry Night , Bermuda Bay, and Granny Apple Green Combination. And can you see the texture behind the Deckled Rectangle Die (159173) and Stitched Rectangle Die (151820) frame that has been created with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (154317)?

If you haven’t noticed the Season of Chic stamp set (158810) in our Annual Catalog you might want to check it out since this Suite of products (158819) covers all four seasons in one stamp set and with it’s gold foiling it is quick striking.

These next 5 cards all use the Nature’s Prints Bundle (158801) that is one of my favorite Suites (158805) in the Annual Catalog. Not only are the sentiments done in a lovely font, but its an all occasion set with lovely images too that are perfect for all kinds of cards. This first card is soft and sweet and done in shades of Gray Granite and Blushing Bride.

This next card has an autumnal feel to it due to the color choice.

And this next one highlights 2 of our 2021-2023 In Colors Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen.

Want a bold look how about this one done in Sahara Sand and Blackberry Bliss?

Or a bold color block look?

Isn’t it wonderful just how you can change the feel and look simply by changing up the colors you choose? It’s one of the things I love about stamping!

Hello Harvest & Back Stage Swapping Fun!

Today’s cards are all swaps that I received during the New Orleans Back Stage event last month. What fun I had swapping during the event. I cant wait to share them with you this week, so stop back by to see more fun swaps!

This first group of cards is made with the Hello Harvest Bundle (159644) and the Rustic Harvest Suite (159648) of products. The colors are rich and will be found in our landscape over the next few weeks as the days shorten. The yellows have already started popping up here in North Georgia.

And if you haven’t already seen the Leaf Fall 3D Embossing Folder (159847) you’ll want to be sure to check it out. I almost missed it in the Mini (page 53).

It’s been used to add texture to these first three cards.

And this next card is made with the Soft Seedlings stamp set (159905).

It’s got a fun soft look to it – water drops have been added after the leaves have been stamped using our Water Painter (151298). And this final fall card uses the die cut image from the Perched in a Tree Bundle (159799). While it is currently on back order it will be available to order again around the 26th of September, in plenty of time to start creating for the holiday season!

How about a little Halloween fun? Here are two cards made with the Best Witches (159860) and Bewitching stamp sets (159855).

The Witch Hat Builder Punch (159856) is so much fun.

More Maui Swaps & Pictures

Today I’ll be sharing some more of my Incentive Trip swaps with you and I hope you’ll enjoy them along with my photos from the Luau and last day at the Grand Wailea. So here we go!

This first card uses the Timeless Tulip stamp set (158327) and the Tulip Builder Punch (151295).

It’s a fun fold that teams up our New In Colors Fresh Freesia and Soft Succulent. This is a great set for new stampers since it has some great sentiments and a punch.

And how about this next card using the sweet and soft Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499) and the Beauty of Friendship Bundle (155834)?

It’s another fun fold.

This next card uses the Henna Hearts stamp set (155665) found on page 100 in the Annual Catalog.

The Simply Elegant Designer Series Paper (155761) with it’s foiling makes an impact on this gate fold card.

And if you like dragonflies check out this next card using the Dragonfly Garden Bundle (156224) and the Meadow Dies (155852).

The dragonfly just shimmers since it has been given a coating of our Clear Wink of Stella. And finally this last card uses one of our holiday bundles, Tiding & Trimmings (155716) that you can find in the Annual Catalog.

The Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper (155718) sets the color pallet with Sahara Sand and Evening Evergreen. The Real Red Rhinestones (146924) add a lovely bit of shine to the star while the die add a texture and detail. Simply lovely!

Don’t forget to stop back by tomorrow I’ve got some great 3D swaps to share with you!

Mahalo Maui Luau & More

Our last full day in Maui was filled with friends, new and old. Stampin’ Up! gave us one last opportunity to gather as a group for a wonderful evening right off the beach.

A Quick pic with Shelli at the Maui Incentive Trip Luau

The smell of Plumeria filled the air as we mingled and gathered at our assigned seats to enjoy the evening and listen to the story of the Island.

Sunset at the Luau with my husband, Larry

My husband, Larry, loved his first Stampin’ Up! event as did our daughter who was able to join us. He told me later that I really need to earn the next Incentive Trip.

The Luau also gave us one last opportunity to wear our beautiful leis that we were given when we arrived.

I got a chance to meet 3 new stamping friends at our table.

It was a wonderful night to remember.

And this beautiful hand crafted necklace was my parting pillow gift that I found when we returned to our room that evening.

It was a trip of a lifetime and I have to say once again, thank you. I couldn’t do what I love and share what I love doing if it weren’t for you! I appreciate you and thank you again for supporting my Stampin’ Up! business and spending some time stamping with me.

If you’d like to see more photos of the Luau and my final day in Maui stop on by my facebook page where I’ll share some photos with you later today.

Maui Swaps & More

Today I wanted to share some more of the fantastic swaps that I got on the Incentive trip. This swap was an optional part of the trip and we had a choice of cards or 3d. Today’s post again is all about the cards.

And there were lots who participated, the boards were so full that not everyone’s made it on to the board, mine included. But I’ve already shared my card with you on the 18th HERE along with the video and tutorial in case you wanted to see it.

On to the swaps… This first one is bright and cheerful and perfect for the event! Magenta Madness and the In the Tropics Dies (151495). Yep, no stamping just dies were used to create this card and the bright cheerful colors make it fun.

And check out this next card which uses strips of the 2021 In Colors.

Clever, right? the strips adhered to a Basic Black card stock piece and were then die cut using the Hippo & Friends Dies (153585). The sentiment is from the Flowers of Friendship stamp set (155385) and those fun little speckles from the Clear & Contour stamp set (154994).

Another bright and cheerful card using the exclusive Host Designer Series Paper, Pattern Party (Host 155426). It works perfectly with this bold stamp set, Biggest Wish (155052).

Our White 1/4″ Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon (151326) is perfect for this project since you can add color to the ribbon so easily! And inside is just as bright and fun, check it out.

The very popular Artistically Inked Suite is highlighted on this next card.

With all the gold foiling the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper (155464) is sure to impress.

This next card uses the fun In Symmetry stamp set (155140), Sweet Symmetry Designer Series Paper (155605) and new Baker’s Twine Essential Pack (155475).

I love the way our Champagne Rhinestones (151193) pick up the colors on the card. And it’s a fun fold too.

My last swap that I wanted to share with you today is a Slim Line Card done in our 2021 In Colors.

They look so great together! The card was quick and easy since it uses the New Flowers & Leaves Punch (155373), Heart Punch Pack (151292) and the Banners Pick a Punch (153608).

Got a favorite swap that I shared with you today? Why not leave me a comment and let me know.

More Incentive Trip Highlights

I thought I’d share a few more pictures with you from the Incentive Trip. This first one is of the Maui Gold Pineapple Tour, our guide Ken was a lot of fun. I can’t tell you how sad I am that we’ve cut into our last Maui Gold pineapple. I’m trying to figure out how I can hide it from the family without feeling guilty! Ah, well I guess I’ll be sharing it is too good not to share.

These next few photos are of the Stampin’ Up! excursion – we chose snorkeling and were so glad we did. We had a lot of fun being on a catamaran for the first time and watching the sails go up. While I just love being on the water, Larry can struggle with it and experienced a bit of motion sickness.

While our cameras don’t do justice to the fish the snorkeling was fantastic and there was a lot of variety too.

We spent a lovely afternoon around the resort. Here are some more pictures of the resort – these views never get old. Early morning I think was my favorite with the pinks from the sun rise.

To end the day we enjoyed dinner with Sherrie and her husband Jeff at the Maui Brewery Co. It was nice catching up and that we got to meet each others spouses after knowing each other for years. (I always enjoy doing Sherrie’s Shoebox Swaps at our live events.)

I had the Coconut Shrimp Fried Rice Sherrie said the other demonstrators were raving about. It was soooo yummy!

Whew, so much food and I loved the presentation. If you’d like to see more of the photos that I took from the Incentive Trip stop by my facebook page and check them out.

Then stop back by next week when I’ll be sharing more cards & the 3d swaps with you.
