#OnStage Houston and more

Whew. I’m catching back up after returning from Houston and the fantastic Stampin’ Up! event there. So today I thought I’d share some photos and some of the swaps I received during the event.

Stampin’ Up! outdid themselves with this event and the excitement was high – it’s been along time since we have been able to gather like this. My husband, Larry joined me for this event since we have family in Houston and would spend some time with them after.

Yep, that’s my cutie enjoying a bit of lazy river time on top of the Marriott with myself and other demonstrators before check in time for the event. He seemed to enjoy the energy that surrounded him and I had a hard time getting him to give me back my bag as I got ready for the General Session to start. Check out the goodies our Summer Splash trimmed backpack was filled with. A fun crafting bag tucks in the bottom and slides out through the pocket and a coordinating pencil “cup” bag in our new In Color Pretty in Pink.

A wonderful beginning for sure where I had a lovely opportunity to connect with some new stamping friends. A quick dinner at the Saltgrass Steak House with some yummy food

and then on to After Hours and some on hand stamping fun with new products from the 2024 Annual Catalog!

Hundreds of us filled the space for an full evening of stamping, laughter, and fun. Everyone was excited to see the new products and In Colors! They sure didn’t disappoint. I choose one of the Bundles, Spotlight on Nature (163579) that was offered since it has some great images and basic shape dies.

I’m looking forward to sharing these projects and more with you soon. Along with more photos from the event throughout this week.

Now how about some swaps? I thought I’d share of my Easter swaps with you since it is right around the corner. There were some really cute projects swapped for Easter here are a few that I received.

This first one is a fun little 3d treat holder that uses the Diaper Fold.

This little treat uses our Excellent Eggs Bundle (Retiring 162808) and our Subtles Designer Series Paper (Retiring 161644). And this soft and sweet card also uses the Excellent Eggs Dies (Retiring 162807) in the background for the little bunny but has a totally different feel to it.

The sentiment has been punched out using the Double Oval Punch (Retiring 154242) and the sweet little bow was created using the 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Retiring 161635). Sweet, right?

And finally a bright and cheerful card using the Easter Bunny Stamp set (Retiring 160272) and Easter Bunny Punch (Retiring 160331).

Isn’t the little pompom adorable for the tail? Colored with Crumb Cake Blends to pull in the dry embossed background using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder (160580) and cheerful Glorious Gingham 6×6 Designer Series Paper (Retiring 163170). The Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) were used to cut both the opening for the bunny and sentiment.

That’s it for the day. Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some more photos and swaps with you.

Happy Easter Brownie Treat Tutorial

Want a quick and easy treat that you can make a bunch of quickly for your next gathering or event? Why not check out this cute little treat I made for spring using the Easter Bunny stamp set? After all who doesn’t think of baby bunnies, lambs, and calves in the spring?

I’ve shared some cards with you earlier but this set just screams treat to me so when I saw these spring themed brownies from Little Debbie on my local Ingles shelf I just knew I had to made them into a sweet treat. And because I wanted to give them out a bit earlier I went with one of the all occasions sentiments in the set.

I just love the fact this set has some all occasions greets for general use like this. So here is my sweet little treat that I whipped up in minutes.

Cute right? I’ve used the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper (160413) for these treats since the color pallet is perfect for spring and includes it’s Balmy Blue, Fresh Freesia, and Orchid Oasis. And since it is 6×6 you can get 2 treats from each sheet! Making a ton of little brownie wraps and treats to pass out.

I’ve whipped up a quick videoed for you along with a PDF Tutorial too. Be sure to check out the supply list on it and the YouTube link that I include on each of my tutorials for quick reference. Print it out and you’ll be able to find everything you need in one place.

Easter Bunny fun

Wow, it’s Wednesday already and I haven’t had a chance to share with you yet this week. I’m been a bit side tracked with the new grand-pup my son has brought home. Poor thing had been locked up in a chicken coop the past month for getting in the trash. I don’t see how you could do that to a pup, why she is the sweetest little thing but has needed a lot of reassurance after being shuffled around from home to home so much.

Any how on to sharing. Spring is definitely in the air here in North Georgia we’ve been in the 60s and 70s the past couple of weeks and things are turning green quickly. The itchy and watery eyes are proof that spring has sprung! Which of course makes me think of Easter which is right around the corner so today I thought I’d share a few swaps with you that uses the Easter Bunny stamp set.

This set has a coordinating punch also but it is not orderable right now since we’ve run out. But great news it will be back, so you can go ahead and get the stamp now to create with and do a bit of fussy cutting and then get the punch when it returns.

The first card I’ll be sharing with you today uses simple stamping and adds texture with our dies.

The Stylish Shape Dies (159183) were used to cut out the Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper (Host 159161) and bunny and the background was created with the Stitched Greenery Die (155451). Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (159082) add a bit more texture to the project and brings out the color of the bunny and sentiment. This next friendship card creates a scene

The Cloud Punch (157749) was used to highlight the sentiment. And finally this last card uses the Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) and the soft Country Gingham Designer Series Paper (160388) to create the soft colors of spring.

So what do you think? Can you see all the possibilities with this fun spring set? Why not check it out and get started creating your Easter products now?
