#OnStage Houston and more

Whew. I’m catching back up after returning from Houston and the fantastic Stampin’ Up! event there. So today I thought I’d share some photos and some of the swaps I received during the event.

Stampin’ Up! outdid themselves with this event and the excitement was high – it’s been along time since we have been able to gather like this. My husband, Larry joined me for this event since we have family in Houston and would spend some time with them after.

Yep, that’s my cutie enjoying a bit of lazy river time on top of the Marriott with myself and other demonstrators before check in time for the event. He seemed to enjoy the energy that surrounded him and I had a hard time getting him to give me back my bag as I got ready for the General Session to start. Check out the goodies our Summer Splash trimmed backpack was filled with. A fun crafting bag tucks in the bottom and slides out through the pocket and a coordinating pencil “cup” bag in our new In Color Pretty in Pink.

A wonderful beginning for sure where I had a lovely opportunity to connect with some new stamping friends. A quick dinner at the Saltgrass Steak House with some yummy food

and then on to After Hours and some on hand stamping fun with new products from the 2024 Annual Catalog!

Hundreds of us filled the space for an full evening of stamping, laughter, and fun. Everyone was excited to see the new products and In Colors! They sure didn’t disappoint. I choose one of the Bundles, Spotlight on Nature (163579) that was offered since it has some great images and basic shape dies.

I’m looking forward to sharing these projects and more with you soon. Along with more photos from the event throughout this week.

Now how about some swaps? I thought I’d share of my Easter swaps with you since it is right around the corner. There were some really cute projects swapped for Easter here are a few that I received.

This first one is a fun little 3d treat holder that uses the Diaper Fold.

This little treat uses our Excellent Eggs Bundle (Retiring 162808) and our Subtles Designer Series Paper (Retiring 161644). And this soft and sweet card also uses the Excellent Eggs Dies (Retiring 162807) in the background for the little bunny but has a totally different feel to it.

The sentiment has been punched out using the Double Oval Punch (Retiring 154242) and the sweet little bow was created using the 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon Combo Pack (Retiring 161635). Sweet, right?

And finally a bright and cheerful card using the Easter Bunny Stamp set (Retiring 160272) and Easter Bunny Punch (Retiring 160331).

Isn’t the little pompom adorable for the tail? Colored with Crumb Cake Blends to pull in the dry embossed background using the Cane Weave 3D Embossing Folder (160580) and cheerful Glorious Gingham 6×6 Designer Series Paper (Retiring 163170). The Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) were used to cut both the opening for the bunny and sentiment.

That’s it for the day. Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some more photos and swaps with you.

Team Valentine fun

Since tomorrow is Valentine’s Day I thought today I’d share projects from my Team Meeting this last week. Each month as a group we gather, stamp together, and share what we’ve been doing since the last time we got together. I always love to see what everyone has been stamping and each month there is a theme to inspire them for this swapping time.

This first fun fold card was created as a no stamp project. Instead it uses our Heart Punch Pack (151292) and Country Lane Floral Designer Series Paper (160375).

It also uses the Opaque Adhesive Backed Gems (160412) and fun White Glittered 3/8″ Organdy Ribbon (156408).

Fun right? And how about a little box using the same products?

This box was created using my video tutorial HERE. It’s such a quick and easy box to create you can whip up a punch of them in no time and it holds quite a bit too! Next is a fun spinner card using the Easter Bunny Bundle (160606) for a non traditional use of the set along with the same punch and paper.

Did you know that at times items like the Easter Bunny Punch (160331) can go onto Back Order? With popular items like this sometimes we run out and haven’t gotten our next shipment in. When that happens you’ll see a “Currently Unavailable” message listed on the product. I’m more than happy to let you know when the item is back in stock if you drop me an email to [email protected]. If you don’t see the item in my Online Store at all and you’ve double checked the item # you used, that means the item is no longer available. As always, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

And last but not least is this cute little card using the Rain or Shine Suite (160556) of products.

I just love the shinny UV Coating on this guy’s rain coat – too cute right? This card uses some of our retired products also to make it a valentine card. I love the way that all our products work together whether they are new or retired. It’s part of what drew me to Stampin’ Up! to begin with – everything coordinates so well.
