Let’s say goodbye Cheerful Basket and more

Today’s cards all have something in common. Not only do they have adorable little animals in the set, but they are also on the Last Chance List. The Last Chance List…once a year products are retired from the Annual Catalog. Why is that important? Because these items are only available while supplies last or until May 1st.

I’m going to start todays cards with the Cheerful Basket (158674) stamp set

This stamp set does have coordinating dies and also comes in a bundle for savings. This set not only has fun this fun basket but also has lots of images to fill the basket with along with all occasion sentiments too. This first card is a fun fold that will fold flat for mailing.

And this next card uses the same set and the sweet little kitten image.

The Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper (Host 159161) has been used for both these cards. This next card uses the bright and cheerful Polished Pink and Pale Papaya to create this lovely friendship card. The Hello Beautiful (158041)

stamp set was used and the Beautiful Shapes Dies (158046) were used to cut out the sentiments.

And now for some Dies that are on the last chance list – great on their own. This next card uses a lovely reinker technique to create the backdrop for the Amazing Thanks Dies (157816).

And today’s final card uses the Delicate Edges Dies (159180) along with our Painted Labels Dies (151605) and Peaceful Moments (151595) stamp set

Easter Bunny fun

Wow, it’s Wednesday already and I haven’t had a chance to share with you yet this week. I’m been a bit side tracked with the new grand-pup my son has brought home. Poor thing had been locked up in a chicken coop the past month for getting in the trash. I don’t see how you could do that to a pup, why she is the sweetest little thing but has needed a lot of reassurance after being shuffled around from home to home so much.

Any how on to sharing. Spring is definitely in the air here in North Georgia we’ve been in the 60s and 70s the past couple of weeks and things are turning green quickly. The itchy and watery eyes are proof that spring has sprung! Which of course makes me think of Easter which is right around the corner so today I thought I’d share a few swaps with you that uses the Easter Bunny stamp set.

This set has a coordinating punch also but it is not orderable right now since we’ve run out. But great news it will be back, so you can go ahead and get the stamp now to create with and do a bit of fussy cutting and then get the punch when it returns.

The first card I’ll be sharing with you today uses simple stamping and adds texture with our dies.

The Stylish Shape Dies (159183) were used to cut out the Design a Daydream Designer Series Paper (Host 159161) and bunny and the background was created with the Stitched Greenery Die (155451). Rustic Metallic Adhesive Backed Dots (159082) add a bit more texture to the project and brings out the color of the bunny and sentiment. This next friendship card creates a scene

The Cloud Punch (157749) was used to highlight the sentiment. And finally this last card uses the Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) and the soft Country Gingham Designer Series Paper (160388) to create the soft colors of spring.

So what do you think? Can you see all the possibilities with this fun spring set? Why not check it out and get started creating your Easter products now?

In the Moment Masking Technique Card Tutorial

I’m off to the Stampin’ Up! event #OnStage in Jacksonville and am excited to be able to gather with other Demonstrators a live event. So in preparation for another fun Stampin’ Up! event I’ve create this card to swap while I’m there.

This card uses the simple masking technique to create a monochromatic image as it’s focal point. I really like how it turned out. The Blending Brush gives it a soft subtle edge and creates a nice contrast to the bold colors behind it.

Want to see how I made it? I’ve created a Video Tutorial for you and also a PDF with the complete supply list, measurement, and step by step instructions.
