Fun Folds with Designer Series Paper

It’s Friday and that means it’s time to share another fun tutorial with you. This month our Designer Series Papers are on sale and so I thought I’d share a fun fold with you that shows off our beautiful Countryside Inn Designer Series Paper (161467). After all who isn’t a fan of blue? And this paper with it’s shades of blue is one of my favorites from the Annual Catalog. It’s also on sale during the month of June, woohoo who doesn’t like to save?

I’ve teamed up this paper with the Biggest Wish Stamp set (155052) because I love the bold sentiments. The fact that you can team up the bold sentiments with the secondary sentiment which uses a lovely font is a bonus too.

And with so many shades of blue to choose from in our Classic Inks your options are endless. Today’s project uses our new 2023-2023 In Color Boho Blue, Misty Moonlight, and our returning Balmy Blue Classic Inks.

Here is a quick video tutorial for you so you can make this fun fold too! I’ve got a printable tutorial with the measurements, supply list and more to make crafting easy.

Daffodil Daydream

It’s spring and the sweet little daffodils are shinning their little faces up to the sun, that is when it isn’t raining. Daffodils always make me think of my childhood since my mother always had them on the table for Easter. Always one of the first pops of color in the garden that my mom loved to tend. So today I thought I’d share with you some cards that use the Daffodil Daydream (157786) stamp set and their coordinating Daffodil Dies (157794).

This first card teams up the images that have been colored with our Calypso Coral and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends

and highlighted with the beautifully versatile Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) done in our In colors Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen. And this next card uses that same Evening Evergreen to create this lovely Easter card.

The 2021-2023 IN Color Designer Series Paper (159254) adds a bit of interest with it’s pattern and some Clear Wink of Stella (141897) adds a bit of shimmer and sun kissed look to the flowers.

And for my final card this final fun fold card

The sweet little Brass Butterflies (158136) and lovely stitched edge adds some nice details too.

If you love daffodils as much as I do why not stop by my Online Store and check this lovely stamp set and dies out today?

Buzz into spring with the Queen Bee Bundle

Bees. A sign that planting season is on it’s way. With the first unseasonably warm days I noticed a lot of buzzing going on and I was surprised to see that bees so early. With the flocks of Robins migrating through and with all the privet and trees popping I guess it’s time. And if you love flowers and a eclectic feel this Queen Bee Bundle (160485) might be right already be on your radar since this bee’s details is just lovely.

This first card uses a fun fold with a bit of the inside panel peeking out along with the Queen Bee Dies (160484) to create a lot of fun details for the card.

The Hive 3D Embossing Folder (157955) add some fun texture and works beautifully with this bundle. And this next card while using the same stamp set has a completely different feel to it. The stamped layer has been cut out using our Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) which gives a delicate feel.

Done in bright color of Melon Mambo and Mango Melody it uses the dies to add the flower details onto the stamped image and do you see the cute little flowers by the sentiment? They are our Loose Daisy Embellishments (160555). I just LOVE the way Stampin’ Up! products work so well together.

It’s a Wonderful World of flowers!

Flowers, evoke so many memories for me from childhood. My great-aunt Adeline had a yard full of them, really I think it was more like acres! Every time we visited in the summer we walked the yard, she would show us each flower bed and what was planted in them. Such a labor of love and so the Wonderful World Sale-a-bration bundle (159918) makes me think of her and others in my family who took such pride in their flower gardens.

In true Stampin’ Up! style, The Wonderful World Bundle also includes a fantastic pack of Designer Series Paper filled with images to compliment the stamp set. Why not take a minute to check out these lovely cards using the Bundle that I recived in a recent swap I hosted?

Lovely and soft this first card and since the Wonderful World stamp set is a image stamp set it’s perfect to team up with the sentiment you need from your favorite sentiment set like the Celebrating You stamp set (158028)!

This next uses the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch (152709) to highlight each of the flowers making it a quick and easy card to make. The sentiment is from our Limited Edition stamp set (158754).

And for a bit of interest this next card uses our Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) and our Blending Brushes to add a bit of interest along with a bit of sparkle from the Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins (159964).

And if you love roses how about these last 2 cards? The first one uses our Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) with it’s delicate stitched edging to create a focal point

along with the Brushed Brass Butterflies (158136) and Festive Pearls (159963). Don’t you love how our products coordinate? And last but not least is this lovely Blackberry Bliss rose.

Texture has been added with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (156505) and the sentiment banner has been punched with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883). So what do you think? Do you have a favorite card that I shared with you today? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which one is your favorite?

Enjoy!

Evergreen Elegance

There is nothing like the fresh cut smell of pine to bring back memories of holidays past. Tromping through the snow to find the perfect tree to cut in the field of Blue Spruce my father planted with cold toes and nose. Yes, I grew up in Wisconsin, so the cold was to be expected. As I grew up tree lots replaced that trip to the field on our property where I helped my father plant those saplings, but the memories of those days remain, so when I saw the trees in the Evergreen Elegance stamp set (153313) it brought me right back to my youth.

This set has some lovely sentiments and images for creating your holiday cards and the In Color Evergreen Elegance is perfect for this set. Check out these lovely cards. These first two team the set up with the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper (155718).

Texture has been added to this first card with the Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave Ribbon (155722) and fun Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder (153576). And this next card adds the Evergreen Border Punch (153603) as a back drop and interest.

And finally this last card uses some dies and a sentiment from another set to create this lovely card showing just how versatile these images can be.

The 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper (155641) and Basic Border Dies (155558) for the back drop and the tree has been cut out with the lovely Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) that has this wonderful edge to it and he Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (155573) adds just the right touch.

So what do you think? Do these trees remind you of your childhood too? Why not leave me a comment and let me know what you think?
