It’s a Wonderful World of flowers!

Flowers, evoke so many memories for me from childhood. My great-aunt Adeline had a yard full of them, really I think it was more like acres! Every time we visited in the summer we walked the yard, she would show us each flower bed and what was planted in them. Such a labor of love and so the Wonderful World Sale-a-bration bundle (159918) makes me think of her and others in my family who took such pride in their flower gardens.

In true Stampin’ Up! style, The Wonderful World Bundle also includes a fantastic pack of Designer Series Paper filled with images to compliment the stamp set. Why not take a minute to check out these lovely cards using the Bundle that I recived in a recent swap I hosted?

Lovely and soft this first card and since the Wonderful World stamp set is a image stamp set it’s perfect to team up with the sentiment you need from your favorite sentiment set like the Celebrating You stamp set (158028)!

This next uses the Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch (152709) to highlight each of the flowers making it a quick and easy card to make. The sentiment is from our Limited Edition stamp set (158754).

And for a bit of interest this next card uses our Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) and our Blending Brushes to add a bit of interest along with a bit of sparkle from the Adhesive-Backed Seasonal Sequins (159964).

And if you love roses how about these last 2 cards? The first one uses our Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) with it’s delicate stitched edging to create a focal point

along with the Brushed Brass Butterflies (158136) and Festive Pearls (159963). Don’t you love how our products coordinate? And last but not least is this lovely Blackberry Bliss rose.

Texture has been added with the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder (156505) and the sentiment banner has been punched with the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883). So what do you think? Do you have a favorite card that I shared with you today? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which one is your favorite?

Enjoy!

Evergreen Elegance

There is nothing like the fresh cut smell of pine to bring back memories of holidays past. Tromping through the snow to find the perfect tree to cut in the field of Blue Spruce my father planted with cold toes and nose. Yes, I grew up in Wisconsin, so the cold was to be expected. As I grew up tree lots replaced that trip to the field on our property where I helped my father plant those saplings, but the memories of those days remain, so when I saw the trees in the Evergreen Elegance stamp set (153313) it brought me right back to my youth.

This set has some lovely sentiments and images for creating your holiday cards and the In Color Evergreen Elegance is perfect for this set. Check out these lovely cards. These first two team the set up with the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper (155718).

Texture has been added to this first card with the Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave Ribbon (155722) and fun Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder (153576). And this next card adds the Evergreen Border Punch (153603) as a back drop and interest.

And finally this last card uses some dies and a sentiment from another set to create this lovely card showing just how versatile these images can be.

The 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper (155641) and Basic Border Dies (155558) for the back drop and the tree has been cut out with the lovely Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) that has this wonderful edge to it and he Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (155573) adds just the right touch.

So what do you think? Do these trees remind you of your childhood too? Why not leave me a comment and let me know what you think?

Dies & More

Dies, Dies & More Dies. Oh my – And they are on Sale through the 18th! Whoo hoo! During Our Seasonal Sale you can get any of the Annual Catalog Dies on Sale for 20% off and there are some great die sets to choose from.

So today I thought I’d share some of my favorite versatile Die sets from the Annual Catalog. While these dies are great with the coordinating stamp set they are also great all by them selves with the set of your choice. I’ll start with a few of our free standing die sets, the first of which is the Tailored Made Tags (155563).

This die set is a great basic to use with all kind of projects – check out this fun card using the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper (155464) and the Artistically Inked stamp set (154542)

Another of my favorites is the Tasteful Labels Dies (152886). This set of dies has some great basic shapes that can be used in tons of ways! Check out this next card using this set of dies.

This card uses the Nature’s Beauty stamp set (150528) stamped on the label and the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (155841) to highlight this wonderful sketched deer image.

And speaking of dies I reach for over and over again, how about the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690) that were used on this next card.

While this next card uses the beautiful pansy print from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (155807).

The big bold sentiment is perfect for this card and comes from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set (155034) found on page 38 of the Annual Catalog. And another wonderful die set that has great basic shapes is the Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) this was one of my first choices from the Annual Catalog this year since the layering scallop rectangles are sooo versatile and work so well with lots of other sets.

While the Color & Contour stamp set that coordinates with these dies is great it works wonderfully with all kinds of stamp sets. Check out these next 2 cards.

This first card uses the Sweet as a Peace stamp set (155050) and for a totally different look that uses the same die shape, check out this card using the Path to Greatness stamp set (155454) and the Stacked Stone Background stamp (152556).

And if you love labels with a flair – you’ll want to be sure to check out the Ornate Layers (152726) die set and Ornate Frames Dies (150664) that were used to create these next 2 cards.

Team them up with a great stamp set like the Forever Fern (152559) and Very Versailles (149275) and you’ll have a great look.

And of course we also have some wonderful that are great on their own since they are silhouettes. Like this wonderful nature scene? The Inspiring Canopy Dies (155963) create a wonderful silhouette look for any project.

Or the Many Layered Blossoms Dies (153582) that were used for this next card.

Whew, as you can see we have so many great dies to choose from you’ll want to be sure to check them out while the sale is going on, but you’ll want to hurry since the Seasonal Sale ends on Thursday, November 18th at 11:50 pm (MT). You can stop by my Online Store to check them all out today! Simply Click HERE.

Highlight on Sale-a-bration’s Delicate Dahlias

This lovely stamp set (156601) filled with all occasions sentiments is one of our Sale-a-bration choices and it’s been very popular. Its wonderful 2 step images create lovely flowers with lots of depth.

Check out these lovely cards made with this set. This first card has tons of texture with the Scalloped Contours and Stitched Greenery Die used for the background. Done in Bumblebee and Saddle Brown Stazon (151508) the little Bumbleebee Trinket (155568) adds a little something special.

And this next card also uses the Scalloped Contours Dies (155560) along with the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (155426).

Done in Polished Pink it creates a bright cheerful thank you card. Speaking of bright and cheerful, take a look at this next card that uses a bit of fussy cutting to make an impact.

Melon Mambo, Blushing Bride and Old Olive has been used along with the Pretty Pillows Box Dies (156321). And if you like techniques check out this next card that uses Daffodil Delight and Flirty Flamingo Classic Inks.

The image has been first inked up in Daffodil Delight and then “Rock & Rolled” in our Flirty Flamingo. Texture has been added once again with the Scalloped Contours Dies and Ornate Floral Embossing Folder (152725). As you can see the Scalloped Contours Dies (155560) are a great addition to your crafting collection! And if you love soft and subtle check out this lovely card made using the Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (156494) from our Mini Catalog.

This card has a soft vintage feel to it and uses our In Colors Bumblebee, Soft Succulent, and Misty Moonlight. One of the things I love about our In Colors are the fun little Square Gems (155572) that come in all the colors that were used for this card. They are faceted and are Adhesive Backed making the not only fun but quick and easy to use too. And last but not least is this lovely card done in Fresh Freesia.

I really like monochromatic cards like this since they are great for not only the beginner but show off our beautiful colors too! This card has a ton of texture, not only do you have the Greenery Embossing Folder (152716) as a back drop but you also have faux layering. The Dahlia and label shape are just one layer! The labels has been sponged and paper pierced and the Dahlia is simply stamped to the left of the faux label creating wonderful depth. And of course those fun little In Color Jewels (155571) add just the right shine and elegance for this card.

Did you know Sale-a-bration ends in just 13 days? September 30th is the last day you can get our Sale-a-bration productions, so you’ll want to make sure to get your favorites before they are gone!

Strong of Heart

Today’s card is one that has been stamped with a set that you might have missed in our Mini Catalog, I know I did the first few times I flipped through our Mini. You can find the Strong of Heart stamp set on page 5.

I think you’ll enjoy the Strong of Heart stamp set (156376) with it’s sentiments, they’re perfect for some of those difficult cards we have to make.

Stamped in Misty Moonlight and Mint Macaron this card has lots of texture. The Timeworn Type Embossing Folder (156505) is used on the background of the Basic White layer that has been cut with our Scalloped Contours Dies (155560). This die makes cutting angles like these quick and easy. The bottom of the panel has been stamped with the swash image from the sent and the sentiment has been too after being stamped off.

A clean and simple card to stamp but simply lovely.

Why not stop by my online store and check out this stamp. And of course if you don’t already have a demonstrator and you’d like your own July – December Mini Catalog to look through email me at [email protected] with your name, address, and phone number and I’ll be happy to mail you one.
