Love quick and easy treats? I know I do – I love cute packaging that brings a smile to that special someone’s face. And the Flowers for Every Season 6×6 Designer Series Paper makes these treats quick and easy!
I whipped these up last week for my team’s Peak Princes event on Sunday. This event celebrates my teams accomplishments over the last 6 months, so this sentiment seemed perfect for it. I not only tucked in some chocolate, because who doesn’t love that? I also included their lanyard charm that I created with one of our embellishments too.
Check out just how quick and easy it is to make with just some score lines in my video tutorial so you can whip some up too!
Every year we gather as a team in December for our Annual Team Luncheon which includes a Shoe Box Swap. For me it is one of my favorite meetings as there is lots of food, laughter, sharing, and stamping. And while things were a bit different this year we still had a great time together bringing a dish to share and a stamping too.
The classroom was set up with social distancing in mind
And everyone received a little team gift from me too
which included some items to use in the Shoe Box Swap I designed (I’ll be sharing that project with you soon) along with some Team lanyard charms and title recognition.
Yes, these are Stampin’ Up! embellishments lol. They can be used for all kinds of things!
After the luncheon we had fun stamping a wide variety of projects. It’s part of what I love about gathering, everyone has a different style and shares what they love to do. All of the projects were great and I couldn’t choose a favorite.
Also colored with our Stampin’ Blends it uses each of the images to create 3 panels for a great get well card.
How cute is that? And the final card was another get well using the Healing Hugs stamp set (148223) and the Boho Indigo Designer Series Paper that is part of the Boho Indigo Product Medley (153132). Isn’t it great we have a refill (153925) for this kit so we can keep creating?
Now all I need to do is pop in a photo. And my final project I wanted to share with you is the fun little get well mini tissue holder. Perfect to brighten someone’s day who is feeling a bit under the weather.
whew… Lots of stamping going on like I said and such great projects!

Sunflowers. Ahh, how they bring back memories. As a child my mother would plant sunflowers in her garden and though out the growing season I would stand next to them to mark their growth. They quickly towered over me and I was always amazed by at just how tall they would get. My mother even took a picture of me wearing my favorite yellow rain jacket and hat next to them one summer when I was about 3. When they were done for the season, we dried them so that we could let the birds eat the seeds during the long winter months in Wisconsin. I guess the fact that I was 3 might be one of the reasons they seem so tall! LOL! But when I saw this set it made me think of that picture from so long ago.
So today I thought I’d share some cards using our new 2020 In Colors made with this stamp set and it’s coordinating dies. These first two cards use the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper (145286) to add to the design.
Done in Just Jade and Bumblebee. And this next one uses our Misty Moonlight and Magenta Madness to make the sunflower pop!
The tag was done using our new Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883). And if you need a quick card check out this next one using the Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon (146912) and Blends to color the center.
And last but not least a fun technique card.
First the images were stamped in Bleach, the leaves cut out, and then the card was assembled. This simple technique is quite striking and I love how the beach works differently with each color card stock. The In Color Designer Series Paper was used for the pop of Magenta Madness on the dies. and of course those fun little In Color Enamel Dots. I just love them with their glossy shine.
So which one is your favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know what you think?
Just a bit of Stampin’ Up! news:
IMPORTANT Stampin’ Up! is launching our new websites on August 4th. The links taking your directly to the product in my Online Store may not work as normal. They may simply work by taking you to my store but not to the product itself. If you have any issues placing an order with me please let me know. I’m happy to help.
Please remember these two very important things: When placing an order in the Online store: Please confirm you are shopping with me and that my name is listed as your Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator (The new system will allow you to check out as a guest and bypass choosing a demonstrator. If that is the case I won’t get your order information and I won’t be able to mail catalogs, gifts, etc.). My name is listed as Jini Merck and I live in Clarkesville, Georgia.
Since this is a NEW website, your bookmark and auto fill passwords may not work.
If that is the case you’ll want to create a new bookmark and sign in that way, saving it again to your password safe if you use one. Also, because of this your password may not work. If that happens you will need to reset it. Because it is a new website and we are using a new email system for it, when you go to reset your password, the link emailed to you may go in your spam folder. So you’ll want to check that if you don’t see it right shortly after you request it.
Please know that I’m here to help in any way as always. There may be a few bugs to start with in the new Online Store, so if you prefer for me to place your order for you I can. We can get through this together as always.
Thanks and as always I appreciate you choosing me as your Demonstrator!
Soft and mellow the new In Color Bumblebee is a lovely new color to add to your collection. It’s part of the five new 2020-2022 In Colors that I’m highlighting this week and can be purchased on it’s own or part of the In Color Ink Pad Collection (154597). It also an assortment pack of card stock (153074) which makes it a great place to start building a color pallet.
Check out these lovely monochromatic cards that are sure to please. While they all use different stamps the Bumblebee gives them a warm buttery feel. This first card uses the Tasteful Touches Bundle (154098) and is teamed up with our Basic Black Card stock (121045) and ink. A little texture has been added with the Tasteful Textures 3D Embossing Folder (152718) and In Color Designer Series Paper. I think would make a great masculine card. What do you think?
This next card also uses the Tasteful Touches Bundle but it’s been teamed up with our Whisper White card stock this time.
And how about this card done in Basic Gray (121044) and Bumblebee?
It uses our Well Written Dies (151816) found on page 183 of the Annual Catalog. The Subtles 3D Embossing Folder (151775) adds some texture to the card.
I can’t pick a favorite, can you? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which one you like and why? Then stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing some projects made with the 2020 In color, Cinnamon Cider.
I love flowers during the summer. It brings me back to my childhood and walking through my Aunt Adeline’s yard which had what seemed like acres of flower beds and my Grandma’s front flower bed. Both of them loved flowers and their flower beds were so carefully manicured. While toiling in flower beds isn’t my cup of tea, I do enjoy the pop of color they bring to my yard and since it also brings the hummingbirds I always try and put some baskets and pots around my patio and porches. A more limited approach I know, but a much better for my allergies since although my mother tried for years I just don’t have a green thumb, that was passed on to my son.
So today’s cards reminds me of those wonderful ladies who have been gone along time now but are never far from my thoughts when I enjoy a wonderful splash of color from a flower bed.
And this next one teams up the In Color Designer Series Paper (153070) with Gorgeous Grape flowers. It uses the simple paper piecing technique. Do do this you’ll simply stamp the image onto your Designer Series Paper, this time they used the wood pattern from the In Color stack and fussy cut with your paper snips. So simple, but a great technique to use on your projects.
Isn’t it fun the way the flowers on the card front give a border that highlights the pattern on the inside of the card?
This next card uses the Tasteful Textiles 3D Embossing Folder (152718) to add a bit of texture.
The flowers were colored in with out new 2020-2022 In Color Stampin’ Blends. Who doesn’t love the addition of these new colors to our Stampin’ Blends option?
And finally some soft subtle cards. Done in Highland Heather and Petal Pink this first card also uses the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder to add some texture along with the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon (153658)
And this final card uses a combination of Seaside Spray, Misty Moonlight, and Sahara Sand
