Freezin’ Fun, Team Shoe Box & More

Every year we gather as a team in December for our Annual Team Luncheon which includes a Shoe Box Swap. For me it is one of my favorite meetings as there is lots of food, laughter, sharing, and stamping. And while things were a bit different this year we still had a great time together bringing a dish to share and a stamping too.

The classroom was set up with social distancing in mind

And everyone received a little team gift from me too

which included some items to use in the Shoe Box Swap I designed (I’ll be sharing that project with you soon) along with some Team lanyard charms and title recognition.

Yes, these are Stampin’ Up! embellishments lol. They can be used for all kinds of things!

After the luncheon we had fun stamping a wide variety of projects. It’s part of what I love about gathering, everyone has a different style and shares what they love to do. All of the projects were great and I couldn’t choose a favorite.

This first card is a Center Step card stamped with one of my favorite sets from the Mini, the Freezin’ Friends Bundle (155176)

In addition to the Freezin’ Friend Bundle this card also uses the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (153512) and Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder (153576). We colored the cute little animals using our Stampin’ Blends and added some Frost White Shimmer Paint (147046) to the trees.

This next card uses the Back on Your Feet stamp set (149385) and is a fun fold.

Also colored with our Stampin’ Blends it uses each of the images to create 3 panels for a great get well card.

How cute is that? And the final card was another get well using the Healing Hugs stamp set (148223) and the Boho Indigo Designer Series Paper that is part of the Boho Indigo Product Medley (153132). Isn’t it great we have a refill (153925) for this kit so we can keep creating?

And now for some fun 3d Shoe Box Swaps. This first one is a cute little 2×2 box using our Friend Like You stamp set (149237).

I just love the way the Champagne Foil sheet (144748) picks up the color from the Cinnamon Cider Designer Series Paper (153070) and of course the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon (153548) adds a bit more sparkle to the project.

And how about a fun décor item? Here is an inexpensive photo frame we made using the Beautiful World stamp set (152994), Playful Alphabet Dies (152706) and our beautiful, World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper (152491).

Now all I need to do is pop in a photo. And my final project I wanted to share with you is the fun little get well mini tissue holder. Perfect to brighten someone’s day who is feeling a bit under the weather.

The bright and cheerful project uses the Painted Poppies (151599) and Timeless Tulips (151164) stamp sets along with our Stampin’ Blends and the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper (152486).

And here are 2 more fun projects, a little paper box that’s been painted and decorated with our Forever Fern Bundle (154094)

and cute little nail file holder using the Little Treats Bundle (155204) and Toil Tidings Designer Series Paper (150432)

whew… Lots of stamping going on like I said and such great projects!

#imbringingbirthdaysback

Yesterday I shared the card that I created April’s birthdays that I’m sending out and so today I thought I’d share the wonderful cards that I received for my birthday last month. It was such a wonderful surprise each time I found one of these special little envelopes in my mail box. Such happy mail from my friends and fellow stampers! And a wonderfully uplifting experience as we were transitioning through March to the shelter in place we have now.

So on to the fun part, sharing with you! I’ll start with the fancy folds

This first card uses the It Starts with Art stamp set (149303) and it’s coordinating dies. Can you see the sheen on the ribbon? Both the Clear Wink of Stella and our Fine Tip Glue Pen has been used to add some shimmer and shine!

This next card uses the Daisy Lane stamp set (149325) and it’s coordinating Daisy Punches.

The Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper (149478) adds a bit of interest and the Layered Leaves 3D Embossing Folder (152321) adds some texture to this lovely little card.

And this next card is soft and lovely

Done in Blushing Bride and Pear Pizzazz it uses our Tin Tile 3D embossing Folder (151801) and the Healing Hugs stamp set (148223).

And finally this fun easel card using the scallop circle as it’s base – fun right?

Decorated with the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper (151324) and stamped with the Painted Poppies stamp set (151599) and coordinating Painted Labels Dies (151605). These dies are currently on back order but will be back in stock soon for ordering!

And how about a couple more cards using these products?

This last card cleverly uses the See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper (149443) from the Annual Catalog.

And here is another card this time using the Night of Navy patterns from the paper along with this lovely image from the Beautiful Moments stamp set (151677). I just love how versatile this Designer Series Paper pack is!

Here is a card using one of my favorite stamps, Waterfront (146386). A great set for creating scenes like this one.

How about this lovely card using the Lovely Lilypad products that were available during Sale-a-bration last month.

and another using the Happy Birthday to You stamp set that was added to the Paper Pumpkin Kit. I just love how our products work together!

And finally some kit cards – using past Paper Pumpkin Kits among others. This shows you just how great our Paper Pumpkin kits have been and the variety you can expect when you subscribe.

I love how kits make crafting so easy to do!

Whew! That’s all I’m able to share for today, (my internet is giving me fits right now) – But stop by my Facebook page where I’ll be sharing all the cards I received this year.

Blue Mountain Stampers’ Shoe Box Fun

Ahh… team retreats – there is nothing better than spending time with my peeps and our Team Retreats give us uninterrupted craft time together. Fellowship, sharing, and stamping – What could be better? A Shoe Box Swap of course!

What’s a Shoe Box you ask? Well it is a term we use to describe an event where everyone creates and then brings enough card kits or projects to share and we take turns stamping them. But why call it a shoe box? The idea is everyone puts the supplies in what else? A Shoe Box of course. LOL! You get the idea. Any ways, I also love these afternoons and the sharing.

Here are some of the cards we made during the Shoe Box.

This first one uses the Sailing Home Bundle (151066) and it’s coordinating Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper (149481).

And here is a clean and simple card – I love the bright colors and can you see the Wink of Stella we used on the butterfly wings? (Pictures just don’t do justice to the real cards).

The Butterfly Gala stamp set (148580) and the coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch (148523) make this a quick and easy card to make tons of quickly!

And here is a lovely Acetate Window Card using the Healing Hugs Stamp set (148223), still one of my favorites with it’s Distinktive stamps that make the flowers look so realistic.

And finally a pocket card using the Memorable Mosaic stamp set (149226), Mosaic Mood Specialty Designer Series Paper (149478), beautiful Mint Macaron 1/4″ Textile Ribbon (149480), and the really fun Flower Faceted Gems (149479). You can find this suite of products with even more coordinating products in our 2019 Annual Catalog on page 119.

Whew! Lots of stamping fun and a great variety of cards too.

Stop back by tomorrow when I’ll be sharing my card tutorial using the Back on Your Feet stamp set. I’ve still got to do the video or I would have shared it with you today. I’m running a bit behind this week already since I was working on my organized swap by mail – more about these cards soon.

Yep – those packages are filled with fantastic cards using stamps from the 2019 Annual Catalog!!! A lot of work, but great fun too!

A Good Man & more

As I mentioned yesterday, today’s cards are all swaps done by my team members at this month’s team meeting. I always love to see what they are creating when we gather – and swapping is a lot of fun since we all have different styles and favorite sets. So we get to see lots of new ideas.

I’ll start with the Fancy Folds which were clearly on a lot of our minds – after all they are a lot of fun to make.

This first card is a Tunnel Card using the A Good Man stamp set (149270) and the Stitched Shapes Dies (145372) that was created for Father’s Day

I love the sentiment peaking out from the rectangle on the inside and can’t wait to try one of these myself, so stay tuned. lol

And here is a lovely Four Fold Card using the Beauty Abounds stamp set (148726)

I love the Pacific Point and Coastal Cabana together – clean and crisp. The pop of color on the butterfly wings was done with our Stampin’ Blends.

And of course our classic Black & White – This Pop Up Corner Card using the Beautiful Promenade stamp set (146842) and Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder (151797 available again soon) is sure to impress.

And here is a card using the Healing Hugs stamp set (148223)

Can you guess where the sentiment is from? It’s the Vibrant Vase stamp set (148656) that has been cut out using our Stitched Shapes Dies ( 145372 ).

And last but not least the final card for the day uses the Love What You Do stamp set (148042) using Merry Merlot and Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends – a rather striking color combination I thought.

And how about the final swap? It’s a 3d project – A little desk caddie to hold our adhesives using the It Starts with Art Bundle (151090) and the coordinating Designer Series Paper, Follow Your Art (149489).

Perfect for any crafter’s desk!

Have a favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know – I know I can’t pick just one. LOL.

Healing Hugs & More

Today’s cards are all made with the Healing Hugs stamp set from the Annual Catalog. I think this stamp set is one of my favorites with its DisInktive images and clearly I’m not alone. I’ve already shared my cards and their tutorials that I designed for Sherrie’s Shoe box Swap and clearly others love it as much as I do because I got to make these wonderful versions during the 2 shoe box events.

The first card uses the Joy Fold and is done in Blackberry Bliss and Soft Sea Foam.

This next one uses the Soft Sea Foam but instead teams it up with Highland Heather for a softer version. The Tufted Embossing Folder (146335) adds some texture to the background as well as the little touch of stamping down the sentiment piece.

The ribbon with it’s copper edging is from our Team Room Ribbon Combo Pack (146893)

And this final card uses the Bold Mossy Meadow and Blackberry Bliss combination.

We added texture to the background using the Petal Burst Embossing Folder (144193) and fussy cut two flowers and the leaves. I love the way the pearls add a touch of elegance to this card.

Which is your favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know?

OnStage Live – Orlando

Today’s photos are the final ones I’ll be sharing with your from my OnStage experience.

Here’s a quick pic of my room mate, Tracey & I

Stampin’ Up! spoiled us completely at this event, starting with our beautiful  boxes –

which contained a lovely 30 year logo bag filled with goodies and hints of what was to come.

The areas were decorated beautifully with 30 years of memories and displays- This is the year I joined. (Wow, I’ll be celebrating my 10th Anniversary soon!)

Here is a picture of our Make n Take area.

The excitement was high as we got our first peek at the Occasions Catalog & Sale-a-bration offerings.

And of course there were lots of Prize Patrols too!!!

Over the 3 day event we stamped using the NEW Cling stamps – Yes, I said NEW Cling stamps. You’re going to love these! Starting with the Occasions Catalog Stampin’ Up! announced we will be replacing our Clear Mount Stamps with Cling stamps. The same great red rubber with with a stickier label so they’ll stick to our blocks better! Whoo hoo! (After I get to play with them a bit more I’ll do a video to share some tips on assembly and use for you.) They also told us we will no longer carry Wood Mount stamps except for Background Stamps beginning with our 2019 Annual Catalog.

3 full days packed with stamping, sharing, and making friends from around the world

I’m glad that so many of my team members made this their first OnStage Live event and got to meet Shelli Gardner.

We finished the week off with a lovely dinner together with our SINKS friends at the Copper Canyon Grill. My friend, Susan gave us this lovely gift box that holds a Take Your Pick Tool and special book mark with our initials.

Happy, tired and energized by all the exciting new products we headed home. I still can’t believe all the wonderful products that Stampin’ Up! generously gave us during this event.

My table was spilling over as I unpacked!
