Freezin’ Fun, Team Shoe Box & More

Every year we gather as a team in December for our Annual Team Luncheon which includes a Shoe Box Swap. For me it is one of my favorite meetings as there is lots of food, laughter, sharing, and stamping. And while things were a bit different this year we still had a great time together bringing a dish to share and a stamping too.

The classroom was set up with social distancing in mind

And everyone received a little team gift from me too

which included some items to use in the Shoe Box Swap I designed (I’ll be sharing that project with you soon) along with some Team lanyard charms and title recognition.

Yes, these are Stampin’ Up! embellishments lol. They can be used for all kinds of things!

After the luncheon we had fun stamping a wide variety of projects. It’s part of what I love about gathering, everyone has a different style and shares what they love to do. All of the projects were great and I couldn’t choose a favorite.

This first card is a Center Step card stamped with one of my favorite sets from the Mini, the Freezin’ Friends Bundle (155176)

In addition to the Freezin’ Friend Bundle this card also uses the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (153512) and Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder (153576). We colored the cute little animals using our Stampin’ Blends and added some Frost White Shimmer Paint (147046) to the trees.

This next card uses the Back on Your Feet stamp set (149385) and is a fun fold.

Also colored with our Stampin’ Blends it uses each of the images to create 3 panels for a great get well card.

How cute is that? And the final card was another get well using the Healing Hugs stamp set (148223) and the Boho Indigo Designer Series Paper that is part of the Boho Indigo Product Medley (153132). Isn’t it great we have a refill (153925) for this kit so we can keep creating?

And now for some fun 3d Shoe Box Swaps. This first one is a cute little 2×2 box using our Friend Like You stamp set (149237).

I just love the way the Champagne Foil sheet (144748) picks up the color from the Cinnamon Cider Designer Series Paper (153070) and of course the Snowflake Splendor Ribbon (153548) adds a bit more sparkle to the project.

And how about a fun décor item? Here is an inexpensive photo frame we made using the Beautiful World stamp set (152994), Playful Alphabet Dies (152706) and our beautiful, World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper (152491).

Now all I need to do is pop in a photo. And my final project I wanted to share with you is the fun little get well mini tissue holder. Perfect to brighten someone’s day who is feeling a bit under the weather.

The bright and cheerful project uses the Painted Poppies (151599) and Timeless Tulips (151164) stamp sets along with our Stampin’ Blends and the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper (152486).

And here are 2 more fun projects, a little paper box that’s been painted and decorated with our Forever Fern Bundle (154094)

and cute little nail file holder using the Little Treats Bundle (155204) and Toil Tidings Designer Series Paper (150432)

whew… Lots of stamping going on like I said and such great projects!

Menagerie Mix Up

Like mixing it up? As a child I had Colorforms – Do you remember them? Kind of like the paper dolls I loved to play with, but more durable. The outfits were vinyl pieces that would stick to any glossy surface—and each other—over and over again, for countless creative combinations. Such a simple toy but my sister and I spent hours playing with them. Well that’s what the Menagerie Mix Up Bundle (155179) reminds me of as this childhood toy since this set allows you to create countless combinations too.

And today I’ll be sharing a couple of cards with you using this set. This first one is an adorable little reindeer for the holidays.

The card also uses our Trimming the Town Designer Series Paper (153491) and All the Trimmings Embellishments (153540) that are part of the Year End Closeout Sale.

And this next one is a little lamb that is done in shades of Purple Posy and Misty Moonlight.

The Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (153512) has been used along with our Silver Metallic Edge Ribbon (144213). I just love this ribbon since you can change the color up sooooo easily. Like here, a few strokes of the Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends and you’ve got a coordinating ribbon! How great is that? And that little scarf picks up the silver edging on the ribbon since it has been cut from the Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper (150444).

So what do you think? Fun? I can see making this into a fun toy too. Stamp lots of pieces, mount them onto a thin magnetic sheet and you’ve got a fun toy that will give hours of playtime!

You can find these items and more in our Year End Closeout Sale in my Online Store, but remember items are while supplies last.

This folder is great since it works so well with so many of our sets.

More Dove of Hope

Earlier I shared with you so soft and lovely cards made with the Dove of Hope Bundle and so today I thought I would continue with some more card using this wonderful bundle of products.

This first card continues with the lovely blue and silver combination which is one of my favorites for the holidays. Reminding me of all the cool blues of the winter months.

But these next two card use a bolder pallet of color

This first card is bold and striking. Created using the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper (105429) and the beautiful deep and rich In Color Pretty Peacock.

And this next card teams up our Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper (153487) and Goil Foil Paper (132622) for a beautifully elegant look.

Dove of Hope

Doves the universal sign of love & peace. And did you know that doves appear in the symbolism of Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Paganism, and of both military and pacifist groups? That is a lot of ground to cover for just one image. So why not take a look at the Dove of Hope Bundle in a new light?

This first card uses the stamped image and the mask technique. The area below the dove has been sponged with Seaside Spray and Highland Heather for a soft look. The silver pattern behind the Nested Die cut image is from our Feels Like Frost Specialty Designer Series Paper and the Rhinestones pull in that bit of silver into the focal point.

The Tine Tile 3D Embossing Folder add some interest and texture to this card. Soft and lovely and here are two more cards using this soft color pallet along with the coordinating dies.

Done using the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper (153512) this card is soo easy simply stamp your sentiment and cut out the images and then add a few of the Snowflake Adhesive Embellishments (153545) for a bit of shimmer & shine.

And this last card uses our Purple Posy and Highland Heather to create a tone on tone effect.

More Cherish the Season

Yesterday I shared some cards with you done in the traditional red and green colors. Here are a couple more cards I wanted to share with you today. This first card uses Just Jade and Smoky Slate along with the Feels like Frost Specialty Designer Series paper (150444).

While the Just Jade isn’t a traditional Christmas green this card still has a traditional feel to it. The lovely little bell has been cut from our Silver Foil Sheets (132178). The colors make me think of snow and the song Silver Bells of course!

And this next card uses Cherry Cobbler and Garden Green. The back ground has been embossed using the fun Winter Snow Embossing Folder (153577) and the bell’s bows are made using the lovely All the Trimmings Ribbon Combo Pack (153541).

I just love the metallic edging on this ribbon pack. How about you?
