#OnStage2019 Swaps, a Sneak Peek & More

Today I’ll be sharing a few more swaps that I received from folks during the OnStage event in Atlanta along with my sneak peek of the goodies I received from the 2020 January – June Mini Catalog Product Purchase Premiere!

I’ll start with the swaps first all of these sets can be found in our 2019 Annual Catalog. Swapping cards is a way for us to share and meet other stampers and I always love the variety of cards. This first card uses the Accented Blooms stamp set (151336).

And this next card uses one of my favorite sets Back on Your Feet (149385) – seems like I’ve needed lots of get well cards this year.

And how about this fun tropical feeling card – perfect for warming up that cold arctic blast we were experiencing last week. The Tropical Chic stamp set (148226) has a set of coordinating dies which makes it a lot of fun to use.

And a fun card that uses strips to create a colorful back ground and it uses

the Love What You Do stamp set (148042) which has some wonderful sentiments in it. And here is a card made with our Butterfly Beauty Dies (148536) and the Butterfly Gala stamp set (148580) two very popular products.

And how about this next card using the Dandelion Wishes stamp set (151345)?

My final swap to share with you today uses the Winds of Change Stamp set (149357),

Got a favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know which one you like best?

More #OnStage2019 Fun

Here are a few more photos from the event – it was so much fun having my team there to celebrate with me. Stampin’ Up! always makes the tables a fest for your eyes with it’s colors and images. And of course a gift.

prize patrol is always a hit

And of course a little stamping too rounds out the event – what fun to see and try the products!

And some recognition too – I was excited to celebrate my earning of the Maui Trip and my 10th Anniversary as a Demonstrator. In addition, I was surprised to learn I was 48th in the US as a Team Leader. (Currently there are 37,591 Demonstrators in the US and 52,142 in the World.)

Over the Moon

Ahh…cows and dairy country, the ones with the black & white spots. I was born and raised in the Wisconsin country side and these cows are a part of my childhood. Being raised in the dairy state meant drinking at least 3 full glasses of milk a day – and ahhh the cheese! I miss the farmer’s brick cheese that my grandmother use to get with it’s mild flavor and oh what fantastic grilled cheese sandwiches it made with it’s stringy goodness! I just haven’t had any luck finding something comparable here in Georgia where I live and our cows are brown or black, a shock the first time I learned they were dairy cows since I thought all cows looked our Holsteins. LOL

Anyhow, when I saw this stamp set in the 2019 Annual Catalog I knew it would be one on my shopping list for sure, and after seeing the great cards folks are making with I’m even more excited about the set! After all who can resist these little cows and their adorable faces?

And animals cards are typically great for all ages – The sentiments in this make it super for all kinds of occasions.

Check out these fun cards I received in my swap using this set

This first one is done in a classic color combination of red and black. Can you guess where the spots come from that were used for the back ground? They are are from the Love What You Do stamp set (147042). Isn’t it great the way we can use our Stampin’ Up! products together?

And this next one done in Pretty Peacock is teamed up with the Heirloom Frames Dies & 3d Embossing Folders (152325) along with our new Medium Daisy Punch (149517).

And here is one done in Daffodil Delight – I love the way the Pinewood 3D Embossing Folder (152320 available again soon) has been used to create the barn yard feel.

And my final card uses the bright and cheerful color combo of Pool Party & Calypso Coral.

The little flowers in the background come from the Colorful Seasons stamp set (143726) – so clever!

Same set – so many choices! It’s part of what I love about stamping – we start with the same stamp set and can create totally different looks just with our choice of color. How about you what is one of your favorite things about stamping? Why not take a few minutes and leave me a comment?

What does it look like when I do one of my swaps? I forgot to take a picture of what my classroom looks like covered up with cards, but I did remember to snap a picture before I loaded the packages to go to the post office for you.

I just love being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and being able to share like this with others! If you love the idea of participating in this type of thing you might enjoying joining my team too. Why not check out the Next, Next Join Now option and learn more about my team and the possibilities? Got questions – feel free to contact me at [email protected]

A Good Man & more

As I mentioned yesterday, today’s cards are all swaps done by my team members at this month’s team meeting. I always love to see what they are creating when we gather – and swapping is a lot of fun since we all have different styles and favorite sets. So we get to see lots of new ideas.

I’ll start with the Fancy Folds which were clearly on a lot of our minds – after all they are a lot of fun to make.

This first card is a Tunnel Card using the A Good Man stamp set (149270) and the Stitched Shapes Dies (145372) that was created for Father’s Day

I love the sentiment peaking out from the rectangle on the inside and can’t wait to try one of these myself, so stay tuned. lol

And here is a lovely Four Fold Card using the Beauty Abounds stamp set (148726)

I love the Pacific Point and Coastal Cabana together – clean and crisp. The pop of color on the butterfly wings was done with our Stampin’ Blends.

And of course our classic Black & White – This Pop Up Corner Card using the Beautiful Promenade stamp set (146842) and Basket Weave 3D Embossing Folder (151797 available again soon) is sure to impress.

And here is a card using the Healing Hugs stamp set (148223)

Can you guess where the sentiment is from? It’s the Vibrant Vase stamp set (148656) that has been cut out using our Stitched Shapes Dies ( 145372 ).

And last but not least the final card for the day uses the Love What You Do stamp set (148042) using Merry Merlot and Lovely Lipstick Stampin’ Blends – a rather striking color combination I thought.

And how about the final swap? It’s a 3d project – A little desk caddie to hold our adhesives using the It Starts with Art Bundle (151090) and the coordinating Designer Series Paper, Follow Your Art (149489).

Perfect for any crafter’s desk!

Have a favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know – I know I can’t pick just one. LOL.

If having a group of crafters to gather and/or share appeals to you, AND you’d love a discount on your Stampin’ Up! products maybe joining my team, the Blue Mountain Stampers might be the right fit for you. Not only do we gather monthly we also share virtually too so you can join in with what works for you.

Share What You Love Skinny Notepads

If you love note pads like I do, you’re going to love this quick and easy project that I made recently for my Team’s Peak Princess Day. This fun holder uses the Share What You Love Suit of products and holds a skinny notepad perfect for jotting notes on the go.

Check out this video tutorial so you can make some too!

I know you’ll want to make some too so here is a printable tutorial for you.

Share What You Love Skinny Notepads Tutorial PDF

Wonder how where these skinny notepads come from?

I’ve used a typical Junior Legal Pad that I took to my local office supply, Office Pros in Cornelia. For a small fee they cut the legal pads in 1/2 for me. (If you don’t live locally most office supply stores offer this service, so you’ll just want to check with them on their requirements.)

Enjoy!

Blue Mountain Stampers’ Shoe Box Fun

Last week we I held our annual Blue Mountain Stampers’ Luncheon and along with it we had a Shoe Box Swap this year – so there was lots of stamping going on!

We began our Luncheon with a dish to pass – always yummy new recipes to try. I love “pot lucks” how about you?

The table was decorated – and everyone had a little gift bag waiting for them.

The bags were filled with a team coffee cup, note book I made, and a team pen.

We also celebrated lots of team accomplishments for the past quarter.

Want to see some of the Shoe Box Swaps we made?

These first two were created using the Love What You Love stamp set (148042) and coordinating Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (148926)

And here are some cute tags we made using the Candy Cane Builder Punch (148011) and Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper (146921).

If you noticed the Whisper White 5/8″ Flax Ribbon that we used for the tags and wondering where you can find it. It’s from our  2019 Occasions Catalog and will be available in January.

And here is a cute gift card holder using the Cookie Cutter Christmas stamp set (142043) and coordinating Cookie Cutter Builder Punch (140396). Aren’t the little antlers cute? They were made with the Sprig Punch (148012) from the Holiday Catalog.

Do you recognize the sentiment? It’s from our Farmhouse Christmas Stamp set (148478).

And here is a simple but elegant card using the Stylish Christmas stamp set (146770/146773) and Softly Falling Embossing Folder (139672).

Of course, what could be better than swaps. So here are some of the swaps members brought starting with the 3ds treats filled with yummy goodies.

And finally a fancy fold card.

What a wonderful time we had that afternoon. I have such a wonderful team of stampers – each and everyone of them bring their own special talent to our group as you can see.

Here is our selfie from the afternoon. (I’m still getting use to my new selfie stick. LOL, can you tell?)

Sound like fun? Have you ever considered becoming a demonstrator? If so the Blue Mountain Stampers might be a great fit for you too.

OnStage Display Boards & More

It’s Thanksgiving today which means a variety of actives for us – so today’s post will be a quick one that is filled with lots of photos for you.

As I sit here thinking about the past year and everything that I am thankful for in my life I must include YOU, my stamping friends. So THANK YOU for all your friendship and support over the past year. I appreciate it more than I can say. Thank You for your patience as I’ve recovered from my ruptured disks and have grappled with my inability to do my normal every day things. Thank YOU for making my life richer, fuller and happier – YOU will be one of the blessings I will be counting today. And of course Thank you for allowing me to share my passion for stamping with you!

So on to some photos to inspire us – one of my favorite parts of OnStage is the sharing of our stamping ideas so there are tons of inspiration! Here are just a few of the boards.

These first two cards use the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies (146840). Our Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets (144106) make these dies so quick and easy to use!

The Time for Tea Suite of products found on page 14 & 15 of the Annual Catalog were used for this card. If you love this suite I’ve got a class coming up in December. Why not Check out my Calendar of Events? You can sign up today, get the Bundle and the class is FREE!

Love the images from the Spirited Snowman stamp set (148075/148072) found in the Holiday Catalog teamed up with the Buffalo Check (147797/147794).

And who doesn’t love this cute little hedgehog made with the Painted Harvest stamp set (144783).

How about this bright card made with Friendly Conversations (146738/146741)?

I love simplicity of this card made with the Rooted in Nature set (146479/146482)

And aren’t these paper trees cute?

I had to go looking for this cute little guy – He is from the Best Bunny stamp set (147136) which has a coordinating punch.

And finally this card was made with our Host Set, Hand Delivered (146808) I love the way the Happy Birthday Thinlits (143700) and the eclipse technique were used.

Whew! Inspired?  Now how about some shoe box swaps? The house is still quiet, lol!

I really love this One Wild Ride (141721/141724) card done in Blueberry Bushel

And the Love What You Do suite of products were used for this card.

Here’s another card made with the Best Bunny stamp set- this time it’s for baby. Done in Soft Sea Foam, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla.

A shaker card made with the Sea of Texture stamp set (146485/146488). This card was so much fun to make with it’s beads (146337).

And a couple of card made with the Animal Outing stamp set (146597/146600)  to finish off today’s cards.

Just a little bit of news from Stampin’ Up! to finish things up

Today’s card uses the Love What you do suite of products. I really love the pearlized look that the Share What You Love Specialty Designer Series Paper has to it and with the heavier weight it’s great for 3d projects too.

Can you see the the Colored Doily? I’m loving the Colored Doilies (146935) that are found on page 192 of the Annual Catalog. Done in 4 colors they give you lots of fun colors to choose from and make me think of my Grandma too. She was an avid crocheter and always working on something back in my childhood many moons ago!

2018 Annual Catalog Kick Off & More

Saturday I held my 2018 Annual Catalog Kick Off and so I thought I’d share some information and photos from the event along with one of the projects too. After all who doesn’t love a tutorial?

These first photos are of some of the classroom displays, my son recently built this new cabinet for me. It’s still a work in process, but I’m loving it!

And everyone had a special treat at their place too. These were quick and easy to make with our 2″x 8″ Cellophane Bags (141703)

This sweet little nugget treat was made using our NEW 2018-2020 In Color Designer Series Paper (146963) and the Love What You Do stamp set (148042). It’s tied up with a quick little bow made from our Call Me Clove 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon (146951).

Here is what everyone’s spot at the table looked like

Everyone received a sweet treat, 2018-2020 In Color Book Mark, a Color Revamp Inventory Sheet in addition to a Shopping List, Catalog Corrections sheet, Catalog, and of course their Project supplies.

I thought you might want a couple of these things too. You’ll want to be sure to check out the Catalog Correction Sheet so you can mark your catalogs since there are some wrong prices listed in the 2018 Catalog.

Here you go – So you can print them off for yourself

2018 Color Revamp Color Collection Inventory Chart PDF

This chart includes Ink pads, refills, markers, blends, spots and card stock of both sizes! Simply print this off on a piece of Whisper White Card stock (double sided) and then score at the 3 5/8″ and 7 3/8″ marks along the long edge. It will fold easily into what you see above that way, and you can carry it along with you or tuck into your craft bag.

And of course – everyone got to stamp with the new colors and stamps!

It was a fun afternoon. Everyone seemed to enjoy the projects so much I thought I’d share them with you.

This NEW In Color just makes me smile-

Done in the bright and cheerful Pineapple Punch! How can you not love this cheerful In Color? This card is quick and easy to do. Why not check out my tutorial below and make some yourself?
