Spot Light on the yummy Cinnamon Cider

Cinnamon Cider is a warm rich color and it is number four of the five 2020-2021 In Colors that I’ve been highlight this week. I love the surprise of the In Color Collections when they are announced each year and they make great additions to our color families since they are right on trend. I’m not sure why I’m always surprised when I find them in the stores while shopping for home products and clothing. My daughter always rolls her eyes when I identify the color by name. Is that what you do when you see something displayed in the stores think of it by the Stampin’ Up! color name? Anyhow…Want to see some cards?

I’ll start with a couple of cards that have been made using our World of Good Suite of Products found on page 24 of the 2020 Annual Catalog. This is a very popular suite perfect for stamping and even scrap booking since it covers all kind of events with it’s sentiments and images. And while we aren’t traveling a great deal right now, this Suite gives us a great way to catch up on past travels with the World of Good Memories and More Card Pack.

Cinnamon Cider Beautiful World

These monochromatic cards are done in Cinnamon Cider and Basic Black. They also use our World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper (152491) and Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder (153200) found in the Suite of products.

Dandelion Wishes (151345) has been used for this next card along with our In Color Designer Series Paper, Twill Ribbon, and fun Enamel Dots.

The lovely Tasteful Touches Bundle was used to create this wonderful card using Very Vanilla (101650) and Vellum Card stock (101856).

How about this card using the Birds & Branches Bundle (154107)? The Bundle was used to create this next card along with the lovely wood grain from the In Good Taste Designer Series paper (152494).

Spot Light on the new Buttery Bumblebee

Soft and mellow the new In Color Bumblebee is a lovely new color to add to your collection. It’s part of the five new 2020-2022 In Colors that I’m highlighting this week and can be purchased on it’s own or part of the In Color Ink Pad Collection (154597). It also an assortment pack of card stock (153074) which makes it a great place to start building a color pallet.

Check out these lovely monochromatic cards that are sure to please. While they all use different stamps the Bumblebee gives them a warm buttery feel. This first card uses the Tasteful Touches Bundle (154098) and is teamed up with our Basic Black Card stock (121045) and ink. A little texture has been added with the Tasteful Textures 3D Embossing Folder (152718) and In Color Designer Series Paper. I think would make a great masculine card. What do you think?

Bumblebee Tasteful Touches

This next card also uses the Tasteful Touches Bundle but it’s been teamed up with our Whisper White card stock this time.

Bumblebee Tasteful Touches

And how about this card done in Basic Gray (121044) and Bumblebee?

It uses our Well Written Dies (151816) found on page 183 of the Annual Catalog. The Subtles 3D Embossing Folder (151775) adds some texture to the card.

This final card has more of a feminine feel to it since it uses the Flowers for Every Season Designer Series Paper (152486) and Early Espresso Classic Ink (147114/119789).

Bumblebee Floral Essence

The sentiment is from the Floral Essence Stamp Set (149450) and it’s been cut out with the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690).

Spot Light on Just Jade

It’s a week of color – 2020-2022 In Colors that is, and today I’m highlighting the color Just. Each year Stampin’ Up! gives us 5 new In Colors that are right on trend. You’ll see these colors every where while you are out and about. I think this years 5 colors are one of my favorite groupings of colors. They are wonderful used together or by themselves like today’s cards. So why not join me over the next 4 days for a look at our new colors?

The new In Color Just Jade is soft and rich and has the feel of a jade stone. Did you know that jade symbolizes purity to some and harmony and balance to others? This green definitely gives me a feeling of calm when I work with it.

Today’s cards are all monochromatic and highlight this lovely shade of green. This first card uses our popular Tasteful Touches stamp set (152562) and the coordinating Tasteful Labels Dies (152886) that are available in a money saving Bundle (154098).

And this next card uses our Lovely You stamp set (152525) and it’s coordinating Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883). Also available in a money saving Bundle (154070).

Just Jade Lovely You

The card also uses the lovely Tasteful Textures 3D Embossing Folder (152718) to add a bit of texture to this project and the next one too. Can you see it?

just Jade Fancy Phrases

And how about some flowers? The Fancy Phrases Stamp set (152530) creates some interested for this card and highlights the flower images in two different ways.

One of my favorite things about the In Color Collections are the accessories that coordinate with the colors. Stampin’ Up! gives us a wonderful feeling 1/4″ Ribbon (153621) and fun Enamel Dots (152480) in the colors along with a stack of Designer Series Paper (153070) too! Color coordination is one of the best parts of using Stampin’ Up! products!

This final card uses the Label Me Fancy Punch (151297) to highlight the sentiment from the A Little Lace stamp set (149364).

Just Jade A Little Lace

The greenery is from our Christmas Layers Dies (150654) and it’s been layered on our coordinating Designer Series Paper and wrapped up with the yummy 1/4″ ribbon. Like I mentioned earlier, Stampin’ Up! products coordinate so well with each other – you can use the all year round. This gives us a new way to use this Christmas Die set, right?

What do you think about the new In Color, Just Jade? Why not leave me a comment and let me know?

More Tasteful Touches

Today I’m sharing some more cards using the Tasteful Touches stamp set, but this time it is all about layering. The set has some wonderful images that are perfect for building interest and texture.

Check out these two cards that use the Bundle. This first one is one in Crumb Cake, Magenta Madness and Bushing Bride.

And do you see a peek of our new Just Jade peaking out from the bottom of the sentiment that has been paired with our lovely Very Vanilla Scalloped Lace Trim (149593) for a more feminine look?

This next card is done in shades of greens and yellows – can you name them?

If you guessed Shaded Spruce, Balmy Blue, Mango Melody, and our new In Color Bumblebee you guessed correctly. And the fun little bow is the Baker’s Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (153620). If you love Baker’s Twine you’ll want to check out this new option.

While they use the same stamps and dies they are done in different colors for a totally different look. Which color scheme is your favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know?

Tasteful Touches

If you love a combination of rich textures and beautiful layers the In Good Taste Suite of products might be right up your alley. Today’s cards focus on a more masculine feel and use the feather image from the stamp set.

640
.

Simple and striking cards this first card uses our Cinnamon Cider and team it up with the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper pattern that has a plaster feel with or at least that is what it looks like to me.

While using the same 2 images this next card done in classic Black and White has a more elegant feel to it.

Don’t you love how just a change in color gives you a totally different vibe? This set not only has some great image and sentiments it has a coordinating set of Label Dies which makes it a fantastic value. You’ll be seeing this labels on all kinds of projects for sure since they can be used not only with this set but those sentiments that you already use.

I’m making this quick this morning as we are enjoying an impromptu visit my husband’s niece. In addition my son has plans for me today too, the sun is out and it’s a beautiful day so he has a DIY project planned.

Tasteful Touches Card Tutorial

Today’s card is made with our In Good Taste Suite of products – as soon as I saw this suite I knew it would be one I’d reach for again and again. Not only does the stamp set have some great sentiments in a lovely font, it also has some wonderful collage type stamps which I’m always looking for to build layers of texture and interest on a card.

And the Dies! What can I say…. I love basic shapes that I can use with multiple stamp sets and this set is fantastic with their stitched edges and embossed details.

Today’s card is quick and easy since it uses the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper as a back drop. I love paper like this that has texture and versatility making it great for masculine cards too.

I’m thinking the Bumblebee and wood give this card a rather country feel to it. What do you think? Gingham always reminds me of my childhood summers, so I’m excited to have a couple of gingham options in this catalog.

Here is a quick video for you along with a PDF that includes a supply list and measurements too.
