Dies & More

Dies, Dies & More Dies. Oh my – And they are on Sale through the 18th! Whoo hoo! During Our Seasonal Sale you can get any of the Annual Catalog Dies on Sale for 20% off and there are some great die sets to choose from.

So today I thought I’d share some of my favorite versatile Die sets from the Annual Catalog. While these dies are great with the coordinating stamp set they are also great all by them selves with the set of your choice. I’ll start with a few of our free standing die sets, the first of which is the Tailored Made Tags (155563).

This die set is a great basic to use with all kind of projects – check out this fun card using the Expressions in Ink Designer Series Paper (155464) and the Artistically Inked stamp set (154542)

Another of my favorites is the Tasteful Labels Dies (152886). This set of dies has some great basic shapes that can be used in tons of ways! Check out this next card using this set of dies.

This card uses the Nature’s Beauty stamp set (150528) stamped on the label and the Beauty of the Earth Designer Series Paper (155841) to highlight this wonderful sketched deer image.

And speaking of dies I reach for over and over again, how about the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690) that were used on this next card.

While this next card uses the beautiful pansy print from the Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (155807).

The big bold sentiment is perfect for this card and comes from the Sunny Sentiments stamp set (155034) found on page 38 of the Annual Catalog. And another wonderful die set that has great basic shapes is the Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) this was one of my first choices from the Annual Catalog this year since the layering scallop rectangles are sooo versatile and work so well with lots of other sets.

While the Color & Contour stamp set that coordinates with these dies is great it works wonderfully with all kinds of stamp sets. Check out these next 2 cards.

This first card uses the Sweet as a Peace stamp set (155050) and for a totally different look that uses the same die shape, check out this card using the Path to Greatness stamp set (155454) and the Stacked Stone Background stamp (152556).

And if you love labels with a flair – you’ll want to be sure to check out the Ornate Layers (152726) die set and Ornate Frames Dies (150664) that were used to create these next 2 cards.

Team them up with a great stamp set like the Forever Fern (152559) and Very Versailles (149275) and you’ll have a great look.

And of course we also have some wonderful that are great on their own since they are silhouettes. Like this wonderful nature scene? The Inspiring Canopy Dies (155963) create a wonderful silhouette look for any project.

Or the Many Layered Blossoms Dies (153582) that were used for this next card.

Whew, as you can see we have so many great dies to choose from you’ll want to be sure to check them out while the sale is going on, but you’ll want to hurry since the Seasonal Sale ends on Thursday, November 18th at 11:50 pm (MT). Sweet Soft Succulent

If you love greens with a vintage feel then Soft Succulent is right up your alley. This years In Colors are fantastic together or as a stand alone color. Check out these monochromatic cards using this great new In Color, Soft Succulent. This first card uses the Hand Penned Petals Bundle (155070).

The image was stamped with Soft Succulent and then cut out with the coordinating Penned Flower Dies (155557). It was then layered onto the same shape cut out of Soft Succulent Card stock to create a shadow effect. And if you don’t recognize the scalloped rectangle, you’ll want to make sure to check out this wonderful set of dies. The very popular Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) are a great staple to have in your collection since the shapes are so versatile. And if you love paper you’ll want to take a look at this next card.

The In Color Shimmer Vellum (155616) and In Color Designer Series Paper (155641) has been cut into strips and layered onto this card to create a lovely back drop for the sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (151595). A bit of texture was added to the card using the Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder (152718).

And how about this card using the Dragonfly Garden Bundle(156224)?

I really love this sentiment found in the set. And this next card uses the Queen Anne’s Lace stamp set (158309) and Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder (154317) along with a simple shadow technique in which the image is first stamped in Soft Succulent and then stamped again using VersaMark (102283) and heat embossed with our White Embossing Powder (155554).

It’s simple and striking. The Very Versailles stamp set (149275) stamp set was used to create this lovely card.

And if you don’t recognize the butterflies, they are from the Nature’s Thoughts Dies (153586) found on page 164 of the Annual Catalog. Last but not least here is a beautiful card stamped with the Host set, Better Places (155858) that you can earn for free with a private party or qualifying order.

It uses once again those popular Scallop Contour Dies that I mentioned earlier along with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder (155431) for lots of texture. The Genial Gems (155500) add a bit of shimmer to the project.

So what do you think of the new Soft Succulent? I find it a wonderfully calming color that is perfect for almost everything as you can see. lol. Why not leave me a comment and let me know what you think of the NEW Soft Succulent?

In Colors are a great way to freshen up your projects since they are right on trend and have LOTS of accessories to choose from too!

Bold, dramatic & fabulous Evening Evergreen

Today’s card are monochromatic cards that have been made using our NEW 2021-2023 In Color Evening Evergreen. Monochromatic cards are wonderful since they can use limited supplies and make an impact.

This first card was stamped with the Very Versailles stamp set (149275) found on page 101 of the Annual Catalog.

The sentiment was punched out using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883) and mounted on a piece of card stock. and the ribbon on the sentiment is our Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (155573) that has been trimmed down so that just the solid edge has been used. More detail was added using the Detail Trio Punch (146320) and the Brilliant Wings Die (155523).

And how about the holidays? Here is a wonderful card that has been made using the Perfectly Plaid stamp set (158335) and Pine Tree Punch (149521).

The Treasured Tags Pick a Punch (154425) was used to punch out the sentiment and of course that Open Weave Ribbon (155573) was used as a band of color behind the sentiment. Recognize the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing folder(153576) in the background? Such a great folder that is easy to sponge so that all the detail pops!

So what do you think of our newest In Color, Early Evergreen? I love that this years In Colors come with total coordination – Ink, Card stock, Stampin’ Blends, Ribbon, and even Jewels. Making it a great place to start building your collection. Why not stop by my online store and check out the New 2021-2023 In Colors today?

Lovely Timeless Tulips

I really enjoy using the Timeless Tulip stamp set and it’s coordinating punch. I’ve shared some card tutorials with you using this bundle and today I’m going to share a few more cards with you that I received in a swap.

These first two cards use just the stamp set and 2 step stamping.

The Garden Lane Designer Series Paper (149488) was used on this first card to give a bit of texture and interest. And this second card done in Melon Mambo uses the sentiment from the Very Versailles stamp set (149275) found in the Annual Catalog to create an elegant feel.

It’s a fun fold that opens a bit differently too.

This next card is a 3d Pop Up Card that folds flat for mailing. I love the look, reminds me of a planter filled with tulips.

And finally some punch art, this card uses just the Tulip Builder Punch and our Pigment Sprinkles (149663) to create this fun colorful octopus. I hope you can see all the depth that has been created simply by using the punch and some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

How fun is that? Simply punch in different widths for the octopus’ tentacles and use the leaves for waves under the little guy. I just love it!

So which is your favorite? Why not leave me a comment and let me know what you think?

Then stop back by next week when I’ll be sharing some of my card tutorials with you.

Another Little Ladybug Tutorial

It’s time for another card tutorial! I created this little card for my Team Winter Retreat Shoe Box Swap a couple of weeks ago and set it aside to share with you.

Unfortunately, it got buried on my desk. I tend to set things in a safe place so that I can find them later. And then well, can’t. lol, Do you ever have that problem? Well you’re in luck since today I found the card and I’m sharing this project along with some of the other Shoe Box Swaps that I made too.

Here is a quick video tutorial for you and the PDF with a complete supply list.
