Evergreen Elegance

There is nothing like the fresh cut smell of pine to bring back memories of holidays past. Tromping through the snow to find the perfect tree to cut in the field of Blue Spruce my father planted with cold toes and nose. Yes, I grew up in Wisconsin, so the cold was to be expected. As I grew up tree lots replaced that trip to the field on our property where I helped my father plant those saplings, but the memories of those days remain, so when I saw the trees in the Evergreen Elegance stamp set (153313) it brought me right back to my youth.

This set has some lovely sentiments and images for creating your holiday cards and the In Color Evergreen Elegance is perfect for this set. Check out these lovely cards. These first two team the set up with the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper (155718).

Texture has been added to this first card with the Evening Evergreen Chevron Weave Ribbon (155722) and fun Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder (153576). And this next card adds the Evergreen Border Punch (153603) as a back drop and interest.

And finally this last card uses some dies and a sentiment from another set to create this lovely card showing just how versatile these images can be.

The 2021-2023 In Color Designer Series Paper (155641) and Basic Border Dies (155558) for the back drop and the tree has been cut out with the lovely Scalloped Contour Dies (155560) that has this wonderful edge to it and he Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon (155573) adds just the right touch.

So what do you think? Do these trees remind you of your childhood too? Why not leave me a comment and let me know what you think?

Angels of Peace

Have you seen this lovely stamp set using line art? The Angels of Peace stamp set (156365) also has some lovely sentiments too.

The line art is perfect to heat emboss – check out these 2 cards while they both use the heat embossing technique they look quite different. This first card uses a quick and easy water color technique to add color the image using our Water Painters (151298).

It also uses a simple fun fold to show off the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Papers (155718). This next card is done in Night of Navy and Basic White, Copper was used from the Metallics Embossing Powder (155555) and some dry embossing was done in the back ground using the Star Crossed Embossing Folder (156567).

The sentiment uses the Stitched So Sweetly Dies (151690 ). One of my favorite die sets since it is so versatile. Buy them today and Save 20% off during Seasonal Sale.

Do you see the little 2021-2023 In Color Jewels (155571)? These jewels are so much fun and add a bit of shimmer and shin to any project. And how about this next card using the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle (156478) and Harvest Meadow Designer Series Paper (156494)?

Welcoming Woods

This time of year the outdoors are calling and hiking, camping and spending the day in our North Georgia Mountains becomes extremely popular as the highways heading north are filled with campers, leaf watchers, and those seeking the peace and quiet of a day with nature. The Welcoming Woods stamp set (156550) evokes those kinds of images in my mind and since this set has all occasions sentients and year round options I think you’ll find this set a great one to team up with sets you might already have.

Check out this first card for fall and it’s striking colors.

A Blending Brush (153611) or Sponge Daubers (133773) were used to add color to this lovely image. A easy technique that packs a wallop! And this next card uses the set as a back drop for the Nature’s Beauty (150528) wildlife.

Embossed in White Embossing Powder (155554) it uses the snowflake pattern from the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper (155718) to set the winter scene.

So what do you think? Love the options this stamp set gives you? Why not stop by my Online Store and check out this and all the items from our Mini Catalog?
