More Color & Contour

Soft & lovely, that is what the Color & Contour stamp set (154994) makes me think of when I see it. So the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper with it’s lovely watercolor floral prints is a perfect backdrop for the images.

This Bundle has some great images, sentiments and dies that coordinate too.

Why not check out these lovely cards made using the Color & Contour Bundle (158356).These first two use the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499) that I mentioned above.

Did you know the die showed here to show case the floral image has these a slit detail that is perfect for running a ribbon through? This first card shows off this slit using the Pale Papaya 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon (155672). And this next card adds a bit of pastel shimmer with our Pastel Pearls (154571).

And this last card that I’m sharing with you today uses our Subtles Designer Series Paper stack (155229). This pack of paper has all 10 colors from our Subtles Family giving you 4 great patterns to choose from in each color. The lovely scallop edge die was used to create this lovely stitched edge to highlight each of the Rhinestone Jewels (144220).

Quiet Meadow

The name and images of the Quiet Meadow Bundle makes me think of my childhood and walking through the fields and meadows around my childhood home. Flowers of all kinds, milkweed pods and even Monarch Butterflies came and went through the seasons. My father wanted to have a tree farm and so had bought a large piece of property out in the country with a creek that ran through it. Our home sat on the farthest corner of the property up on a hill, the only spot really out of the flood plain. But that creek made the area rich with black soil and the perfect place to plant his trees on the other side of the property. Unfortunately my father passed before realizing his dream, but those wonderful childhood memories remain.

The Quiet Meadow Bundle includes both images in detail and silhouette.

It also contains some heartfelt sentiments for you too. Check out these wonderful cards made with this set. These first two use our new In Colors and create a lovely monochromatic card using silhouette images.

The butterfly was cut out of our beautiful Pale Papaya, In Color Shimmer Vellum (155616). If you haven’t seen this Shimmer Vellum in person it is simply beautiful with it’s translucent shimmer. Speaking of which, this next card adds the Fresh Freesia Shimmer Vellum to create an over lay of the collage background on this next card.

And how about a fun fold? This next card uses the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499) to create this soft and lovely floral card.

And this next card uses our Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper (155807) and creates a shadow effect with the dies on this opening flap by cutting a second image out of our Evening Evergreen Card stock and just off setting the image a bit.

It contains a lovely little surprise when open with the Shimmer Vellum butterfly.

And last but not least here is a quick and easy 3d project, using the dies and a bit of sponging.

This sweet little note pad uses the inspiring sentiment from the Hand Penned Stamp set (155070) along with the coordinating Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499) to inspire the color choices.

Elegantly Said

The Simply Elegant Suite of product is filled with wonderful metallic and foil touches allowing you to create elegant cards for those special occasions.

Check out these lovely cards.

This first card is quite striking with it’s elegant combination of Silver Embossing, trim (155766), and Designer Series Paper (155761) that focuses on its silver accents. And this next card combines the new In Color, Soft Succulent with the Gold Foil (132622) and gold trim (155766).

White Embossing Powder was used for the sentiment and our Genial Gems (155500) and Open Weave Ribbon (155780) ties everything together quite nicely. And this next card has been stamped using our White Craft Stampin’ Ink (147277) for a more subtle look that is still simply elegant due to the lovely Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen color combo.

And this final card pulls it soft and subtle color pallet from the Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499).

Our Stampin’ Write Markers were used to color the image to create a multi color image – so easy to do too. Simply use the side of the Stampin’ Write Marker to color the image and then breath on it to remoisten the ink before you stamp and voila!

Today’s projects all use the Color & Contour Bundle (158356) found on page 98 of the 2021 Annual Catalog. This bundle includes some wonderful dies that can be used for all kinds of project.

Simply cut your Soft Succulent card stock to the width of the punch and then punch one end. Fold it as desired and then decorate. See quick and easy! This treat holds a Ghirardelli square, which is always a popular with my group.

Hand Penned Petals & More

Today I thought I’d share some of the swaps that I received during the Maui Incentive Trip. It was a lot of fun seeing what everyone created and checking out the boards in the hospitality room.

These first cards all use the Hand Penned Petals Stamp set (155070) and the coordinating Penned Flowers Dies (155557) that are available in a bundle (155492) for 10% off. I really love the soft look of this first card.

If you love dies, then this card is right up your alley. It uses the NEW Stitched Greenery Die (155451) to create the backdrop. and the sentiment is on a shape from the Tasteful Labels Dies (152886). And if you don’t recognize it, the circle has been cut from our Hand Penned Designer Series Paper (155499). Just lovely.

And speaking of soft and lovely check out this next card using our Square Vellum Doilies (152484), it’s been teamed up with our Pool Party and Cinnamon Cider.

a bit of White Embossing Powder and Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack (155475) create interest and texture along with a pop of shimmer with the Genial Gems (155500) that are scattered around the focal point.

Vellum was used again with the dies and our Stampin’ Blends give the flowers a bold pop of color.

And today here are a few more pictures for you of the Maui Incentive Trip. I couldn’t resist starting the day with the view and a cup of coffee.

Everything is decorated so lovely – including the breakfast tables. The flowers were breath taking.

Stampin’ Up! spoiled us with the hospitality room where we got to spin the wheel each day for prizes.

We had a full day planned away from the resort, so we spent the day at the local aquarium,

and ate lunch on the road in Wailuku since

we wanted to see Ioa Valley and hike a bit.

the views were breath taking. This was the Jurassic Park area of the island that you see in the movie.

And for our last stop we headed to Lahaina and a took a sunset dinner cruse which was wonderful even though Larry struggled a bit with the choppy water on the way out.

After a full day we returned back to the room to find another pillow gift on the bed. This time a matching straw bag filled with goodies! Including the upcoming July-December Catalog!!!

As you can imagine I perked up long enough to flip though it before falling into to bed. lol Don’t forget to stop on by my facebook page to see more pictures of the Maui Incentive Trip.

Brilliant Wings Easel Sticky Note Holder

Need a quick and easy gift? Love to create 3d projects? If so you’re going to love this quick and easy sticky note holder that I created for my Maui Incentive Trip swap. Pop it into one of our little cello bags, add a pen and wrapped it up with some ribbon. Voila!

This cute little project uses our NEW Hand-Penned Designer Series Paper and it’s soft subtles shades perfect for spring! And of course the very popular Brilliant Wings Dies. I just love this die set since you cut multiple butterflies at one time. Makes things quick and easy. I did a trips and tricks video for this die to help you get the best results.
