Christmas Season & more

Are you thinking about the holidays right around the corner? I know I am and there is nothing that gets me in the mood for the upcoming holidays like a bit of nip in the air and stamping my holiday cards and projects. When I first saw it the Painted Christmas Suite of products (156274) drew my eye with all it’s wonderful images and sentiments. After all how can you not connect the holidays with evergreens.

Check out these wonderful cards made with products from the Suite. This first card not only uses the lovely greenery and pine cones it uses the Merry Melody 3D Embossing Folder (156392) to add some interest on the background.

Those fun little Red Rhinestones Jewels (146924) are great to add a bit of shimmer and shine to any project during the holidays! And how about this next card done in Evening Evergreen and Soft Succulent?

The bow tied out of Linen Thread (104199) adds a bit more to this “country” feeling card. And for a more elegant look, this card uses the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (151474) and cut out as a back drop for the pinecones and sentiment from the Holly Jolly Wishes stamp set (156362).

I really like how the Painted Christmas Designer Series Paper (156292) peaks out through the window, how about you? And this last card today uses the wood grain pattern from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494) along with the beautiful In Color Shimmer Vellum (155616).

Today’s cards all use the Party Puffin stamp set (155054). How can you resist this fun little guy and it’s great sentiments?

This set is great since you can add your favorite colors to create fun bold cards. Check out this first card using Bermuda Bay and Granny Apple Green along with the exclusive Party Pattern Designer Series Paper (Host earn this for free 155426).

Embrace Each Moment & More

Today’s card were created using the Embrace Each Moment stamp set (retiring 152594) using lovely sketched images and have some wonderful sentiments.

Sketched images are wonderful for quick and easy monochromatic cards like this first one.

It uses our Night of Navy and In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494) along with the Layering Circle Dies (151770) and Metallic Pearls (146282). And this next card uses our Stampin’ Blends for a quick swash of color to make the focal point pop.

The card base is Night of Navy and the Misty Moonlight layer has been dry embossed using our Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder (152718). The Silver Foil (Retiring 132178) hearts have been cut out using the Stitched Be Mine Dies (Retiring 151814).

And finally this next card uses the His Love stamp set (Retiring 152660) and the soft Peony Garden Designer Series Paper (Retiring 152483).

A bit of texture has been added with the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder (151474) that peeks out beneath the image in this fun fold card.

By the Dock & More

Sitting by the water… is there anything more relaxing? I grew up with Lake Michigan close by and always loved to go to the lake front and watch the water lapping against the shore. It really didn’t matter what time of year, each season was always lovely and had it’s own beauty, and they all had the same effect a calming peacefulness. Today’s cards all have that same thing in common water beach or lake they are all great.

These first two cards use our By the Dock stamp set (Retiring 151622)

This set has a great set of dies that coordinate with it too call Dockside (Retiring 151618) and is 60% off right now. And don’t you love the bit of Braided Linen Trim (retiring 147808) on the post of the dock for a bit of texture?

And how about this one done in traditional colors of red, white, and blue? A favorite color combo for summer time fun.

The ribbon is part of the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack (153620). And this next card uses the Seaside View stamp set (Retiring 152651).

The Swirly Frames stamp set (Retiring 146519) was used to frame the image and Water Painters (151298) to add color to the image. The background is a piece of our In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494) and the sentiment has been punched out using the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch (152883). And check out that Braided Trim that has been used again above the sentiment to add a bit of texture again. Pull it apart and you can add it to the side too.

And finally one of my favorite sets, Sailing Home (149457) filled with great sentiments and images of the sea.

Turnovers

Can you believe it is already the middle of October and that means we are in the holiday count down. Over the next few days I’ll be sharing cards with you using sets that you can use for multiple fall and winter events. Sets like these give you more bang for your buck they also all use punches which make crafting quick, easy and economical too.

Today’s card uses the Turnover stamp set (154873) found on page 60 of the Mini Catalog. If you haven’t heard of our Reversible stamp sets you’re going to love this new stamping option as each stamp gives you 2 images! How cool is that?

It’s so easy. There are images on both sides of the stamp! Which is great since it gives you even more stamping choices. While these two cards use the line image the reverse side gives you a two step option and the ability to add color quickly and easily with this set.

This first card is a Halloween card and uses a clean and quick layout that highlights the image and sentiment from the Hallows Night Magic stamp set (153356).

It also uses the fun Magic In This Night Designer Series Paper (153517) and the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper (152494). And this next card uses the ornament images.

Using a quick and easy Designer Series Paper technique to show you both sides of the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper (153492) to draw your eye to the sentiment. A couple of quick swishes with your coordinating Stampin’ Blends and your done and ready for holiday card sending!

Walk in the Woods

With the beautiful weather the last few days I’m feeling out doorsie, is that a word? Any how yesterday I shared the Field Journal stamp set and today I thought I’d share a card made with the Walk in the Woods Stamp set that you can also find in our Annual Catalog on page 134.

This stamp set has a lovely grouping of all occasions sentiments and sketched images. And the images are great for building a scene like this card uses. This card has been done in earth tone shades of Early Espresso and Cajun Craze it’s perfect for fall card sending.

And the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and Faux Suede Trim add some texture that is perfect for this little guy. What do you think?

Field Journal

As the leaves turn and the temperatures cool I always enjoy spending more time out side preferably around a camp fire with family and friends. Which made me think so some of the wonderful nature themed sets we have in the Annual Catalog. Today’s card highlights the Field Journal Stamp set found on page 135.

Done in earth tones this card highlights the mallard image from the set. It uses one of the patterns from the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper which adds a lot of texture on it’s own, but when it is teamed up with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and the In Good Taste Wood Elements this card wonderful combination of textures which gives it a rich feel.

While the mallard duck is the favorite of mine in the set since I had a pet mallard as a child all of the images will make you feel like you immersed in nature.
