Pretty in Pink

It’s another day of 2024 In Colors and today I’m highlighting our returning color, Pretty in Pink. This color was one of my favorites when I began stamping all those years ago so I was excited to see it return.

The first card today uses our background stamp, Leaf Collection Stamp (163610)

It has been teamed up with a sentiment from Something Fancy Stamp Set (160416). A simple fun fold allows the bit of Pretty in Pink 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon (163784) to peak out from the inside panel and a bit more texture has been added to the sentiment panel with some dry embossing using the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (161600).

This next card uses a matchbook fold. The lovely Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder (162935) is the highlight of this simple card. Again this card uses the Simply Said Mix & Match Stamp set (163756) and has been teamed up with a sentiment set of choice to create a feline birthday card.

And today’s last card uses the same Simply Said Mix & Match Stamp set (163756) and new Cute Crochet 3D Embossing Folder (163792) and Labeled with Love Punch. Prefer Dies? If so you’re in luck you can also choose the die version if you prefer.

The sentiment is from the Simply Said Mix & Match Stamp set (163756) a great one stamp set that includes all those basic occasions sentient we need.

All three of these cards highlight our wonderful Embossing Folders and a quick and easy way to add texture and interest to your projects. Did you know during June our Stampin’ Cut & emboss is on Sale?

Charming Duck Pond Screen Fold Card and more

Today’s cards using the products found in the Lily Pond Lane Suite Collection (163354)

This collection is filled with a wonderful stamp set, dies, paper and even a fun embellishment. And the images in the paper are just lovely.

When I was a little girl I had 2 pet mallards that my dad got for me at the 7 Mile Fair, they were so pretty with their iridescent tail feathers and I raised them from little ducklings along with our 100 chicks. This Suite reminds me of those ducklings.

The first card that I’m sharing with you today highlights that paper and the Charming Duck Pond Dies (163349) that will cut the images out of the Lily Pond Designer Series Paper (163342). The card is a fun fold called a Screen Fold, or Folding Screen Card. Kind of like the room dividers that I saw when I was younger.

Can you seen it? This card folds in half to slide into the envelope and gives you 4 or 8 panels depending on what you would like.

This first side uses the all occasions sentiment found in the set, and the Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) have been used to cut it and pop it up. The sweet little duck on the right has been cut from the Lily Pond Designer Series Paper (163342). Don’t you love the Pretty in Pink 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon (163784) and the fun Adhesive Backed Dappled Dots (163353). The other side

has some more of the lovely Designer Series Paper and a bit of more stamping done in Gray Granite. The little duck has been colored this time with our Stampin’ Blends to match the Designer Series Paper. And while this next card uses those same little Adhesive Backed Dappled Dots (163353) and Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) it has a complexly different feel.

This time the background uses an embossing folder, the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder (162935) a bit of Basic Beige ink has been placed on the folder before running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss to create a tone on tone effect. The Balmy Blue has been used for the sentiment and matt layers and then again in the male duck giving it a softer feel.

Aren’t they both great cards? While they use the same Suite products they “feel” so different. Which one do you like best? Why not leave me a comment and let me know.

More Perennial Lavender

Spring is in the air and the Perennial Lavender Suite (162613) makes spreading a bit of that feel easy! You’re going to love the colors and designs found in the Perennial Lavender Designer Series Paper (162593).

Beautiful, right? And lots of texture built into this Designer Series Paper too with it’s hand painted look. I’ve got some fun cards to share with you today using this Suite. This first card, which was a team swap, uses a fun flower box fold to create a lovely pop up card.

It folds down flat for mailing but will stand on it’s own. The signature panel is on the inside of the card like a normal card base so you get the full effect when displaying.

Next I’ve got a card that uses the lovely Paper Butterfly Accents (162612). These paper butterflies are a lot of fun since you’ll get 5 different butterflies on each sheet.

You can add color to them and more. On this card they are used straight out of the package

and add a nice little detail to the card front. Texture has been added with the Painted Lavender Dies (162596) that use Designer Series Paper to add some “greenery” along with the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder (162935). Last but not least is this lovely sympathy card that uses a simple thumping technique to add multiple colors to the lilacs. How do you do the thumping technique? It’s a quick and simple technique. Simply ink up your image using the lightest shade and then add a darker shade either with a Blending Brush, Sponge Dauber, or Stampin’ Write Marker. This card also uses the fun Purple Fine Shimmer Gems (162611) and gold Adhesive Backed Dragonfly & Birds (Online Exclusive 162743)

Did you know that in flower language different color lilacs have different meanings? The purple lilac symbolizes spirituality while the white lilac represent purity and innocence.

I think you’ll enjoy the Perennial Lavender Suite (162613) that you’ll find in my Online Store.
