Recently I needed a card for a friend who is the care giver for a loved one – this can be a particularly stressful and so I wanted her to know that I’m thinking of her. Here is the card I created. It uses the stamp set Loving Thoughts which is a set that uses a wonderfully elegant font and is comprised solely of 11 sentiments.

I also used one of my favorite two step stamp sets, Gently Falling. I thought it rather fit since here in North Georgia we’re at the peak of our leaf watching season. To recreate the view from my window I first spritzed my card stock using Baked Brown Sugar and my Stampin’ Spritzer. Then I stamped my solid images using Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango, Cajun Craze, and Baked Brown Sugar and finally did the sentiment and line images in Chocolate Chip.

Since I was inspired by looking out the window I wanted to give the same feel to my card so I used my Ovals Collection Framelits and the coordinating Occasions Paper Piercing Pack to highlight my shape.

So what do you think? I hope it will bring a smile to my friends face when she opens it and lets her know she is being thought of.

This first one uses Baja Breeze and the wonderful Twitterpaded Designer Series Paper (item 125406). I’m really going to miss this paper pack.

This second card uses the Loving Thoughts stamp set (item 125843/125845). This is a great sentiment set since it covers a lot of different occasions.

And this final card using our retiring color Certainly Celery. I’m sad to see it go, but am happy that Pear Pizzazz will be replacing it since that was a favorite of mine in the past when it was one of our in colors.
