Stampin’ Up! Retiring: Nature’s Nest

Nature's Nest

Did you have one of those little pet turtles with the plastic dish that had an island and palm tree when you were little? I did, I loved those little things although they seemed to have a habit of getting out and you’d have to track them down. Anyhow, that is what I always think about when I see the Nature’s Nest stamp set. It really brings back those childhood memories.

Nature’s Nest is one of the stamp sets listed on the Retirement List. Good news is you can still order until May 31st if this is on your wish list. Bad news is you only have until May 31st and then Nature’s Nest will be retired and gone forever.

Did you notice that the ribbon has been “dyed” Old Olive to match the card? Did you know that you can make any of our Whisper White ribbons the color of your choice? Just take a sponge dauber and wipe it across the ribbon until you get the color desired. It’s that easy!

Awash with Flowers on the Retirement List

Two step stamp sets such as Awash with Flowers are a lot of fun to use since they give you such versatility. Today I’m going to share with you some of the cards that I’ve made using the Awash with Flowers stamp set. Even though this set is on our retirement list you can still order it until May 31st – so… if it is a set that you would like don’t delay and order your today.

This first card is one that we did during my Technique Club. A new club is forming now so if you would like to learn new techniques why not check it out? Call or email me for more information.

This second card is a note card that I made as a thank you for my customers – click here to see more.

I love the combination of Daffodil Delight and Old Olive and the way this card turned out.

And here are the last two cards.
