Rooted in Nature – It’s not just for fall

The Rooted in Nature stamp set (146479/146482) is a set filled with wonderful tree inspired images and sentiments. It’s a wonderful set for all kinds of cards that can take you all through the year, such as this Thinking of You card.

Done in Shaded Spruce and using the Touches of Texture stamp set (141934/143251) to create some interest behind the leaves.

Or how about this one which evokes cool fall nights with it’s plaid from the Under the Mistletoe Designer Series Paper (146921).

But it’s not just for all occasions – check out this card using the sentiment from the Star of Light stamp set (142110) and the Circular Stamping Technique I shared with you HERE.

Lovely, and the Red Rhinestones Basic Jewels (146924) just sparkle in the light.

I just love the way the Sheet Music Background Stamp (143967/143970) was used for the back drop of this card. The masking technique used for this card is simple to do. Simply create a cut out in the shape desired and use a post it with the holly image then stamp.

Graceful Garden & More

Today’s cards all have one thing in common – flowers. Our sets come in all kinds of styles. Whimsical, traditional, contemporary and more. Check out these wonderful cards with totally different feels to them, made with some of our most popular floral sets.

This first card uses the NEW Graceful Garden stamp set (143846/143849) that is part of the Petal Garden Suite found on pages 56 & 57 of the Annual Catalog. I just love all the wonderful options this suite of products gives us and the colors it contains.

This next card uses our ever popular Daisy Punch (143713) and the Daisy Delight stamp set (143669).

Quick and easy with a traditional or contemporary feel to it and you can save 10% since these coordinating products come in a Bundle (145361). That’s always a good thing. And do you see the little Circle Tab? This fun little tab and sentiment were created with our NEW Circle Tab Punch (143754) and coordinating Tabs for Everything stamp set (143907).

This next card using the Touches of Texture (141934/143251) has a sketched feel to it and is done in warm fall colors.

And this final card is done in soft water colored colors using the Falling Flowers stamp set (139553/139556).

Touches of Texture & More

Team time = fun and swaps, so today I thought I’d share some of the cards that my team members made for March’s Team Meeting.

This first card is Deborah’s and she used her new skills that she learned using the Watercolor Pencils to add color to her flowers.

I’ve included the recipe below for this card. (You’ll have to scroll way down to the bottom.)

Mary’s card uses the wonderful Dragonfly Dreams Bundle (144728) and our yummy Blushing Bride Glimmer Paper (140550) and Falling in Love Designer Series Paper (142788) with it’s soft colors it’s perfect for spring!

And this final card is from Cindy. Cindy loves soft pastels, so this card is very Cindy as our team says. LOL!

Cindy used the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Die (140621) and Layering Ovals Framelits Dies (141706) to create this beautiful Easter card focal point along with the Suite Sentiments Stamp Set (140709/140712).

My team is a large part of what makes my Stampin’ Up! experience so special – they are a wonderful group of crafters who love to stamp, share and we inspire each other with what we love to do….paper craft. What could be better?

Peak Princess Day

I love to pamper my team and Peak Princess Day is all about the pampering! So today I thought I’d share some photos from our last Peak Princess Day in February so you can see what it’s all about.

The day is about pampering, fellowship and sharing as a team so we have some goodies to enjoy while we visit and stamp.

And of course I made these fun little treats for everyone. (You can see more about these Rabbit Mini Coffee Cups HERE).

And we share too – Here are some 3d projects that Deborah and Cindy brought to show what they were making.

And here is a card Cindy shared using the Falling in Love Stamp set (143106/143109), Window Box Thinlits Dies (142762) and Succulent Garden 3/8″ Ribbon combo Pack (142781).

There has to be some prizes, right? So we drew some names from everyone who qualified for this special day of pampering!

Melanie, Donna, Mary and Deborah all were winners!

We went on to stamp together and tried our hands at some new techniques for our Make n’ Takes.

Beautiful, Bold Penned & Painted and more

I have to tell you I by passed these two stamps sets that I’m sharing with you today the first time through the Annual Catalog. But after seeing these two great cards from Cathy I’ve gone back and taken a closer look at them both, adding them to my wish list.

Check out this first card using the Penned & Painted stamp set done in our NEW In Colors.

I think it is striking with it’s trendy bold colors. And of course I LOVE the Ruched Ribbon that is available in each of the 5 In Colors for 2016-2018. It ties wonderfully and is a great width for lots of projects.

And while this next card uses the Touches of Texture stamp set (141934/143251) and uses is a totally different pallet of colors I really love it too. I love the way Cathy used the Thoughtful Banners Bundle (142330) for the sentiment and layered the banner with Stampin’ Dimensionals to give it a 3d feel.

I think the colors are perfect for a fall card. And the Gold Metal Thread and Gold 5/8″ Satin Ribbon adds a wonderful bit of texture too.

I know my photos can’t possibly show how wonderful the cards really are.
