Lift Me Up Chocolate Slider Card

Do you love to make a little something for family and friends for Valentine’s Day? I found these cute little boxes of chocolate recently and couldn’t resist making something with them.

This little project is so quick and easy and since the Lift Me Up stamp set has a lot of sentiments to choose from you could make this project for all kinds of Occasions!

The lid lifts up so that you can write a little something under the lid and the box of chocolate slides out for easy access. My hubby is going to love that. LOL!

Lift Me Up

The Lift Me Up bundle of products is a lot of fun to work with – and who doesn’t smile when they see a hot air balloon? Here in North Georgia we have an annual hot air balloon race. The competitors take off from Helen and vie to be the first one to cross Interstate 95 (the finish line) anywhere from Maine to Miami. The shortest distance for the race is 225 miles. However, the balloons can only travel where the winds aloft take them. I can tell you it’s a colorful sight to see!

The Lift Me Up stamp set also comes with the option of coordinating Thinlits Dies which allow you to make stunning focal points – check out these cards that I was given in a recent swap.

Since the set includes all occasions sentiments you’re sure to find something you like. Here is a card from Anne – clean and simple, but I love the color combination.

I need a card for a guy friend who was recently in the hospital and I think this card will be perfect! What do you think?

Fun at the Occasions Catalog Kick Off Event

It’s that time of year when I start to get really excited about the spring catalog that will go live tomorrow,  January 4th.  You are going to love the beautiful items in the spring catalog…but what you will LOVE even more is that with every $50 purchase you’ll get a free Sale-a-bration freebie as well!

(I’m afraid I’m having problems downloading photos so I’ll only be able to share 2 of the projects tonight, but stop by tomorrow when I’ll share the last project along with some organizational items I have for you.)

This first card uses a bundle (144711/144712) that is one of my favorite since it covers all kinds of occasions. The stamp set Life Me Up (142893/142896) coordinates with the Up & Away Thinlits Dies (142748) and who doesn’t love that? And finally this wonderful card using the Dragonfly Dreams stamp set (142924) and Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies (142749) found on page 6.

Everyone who attended received a cute little treat from me too.

I made this using the Sealed with Love suite of products found on page 14 & 15 of the Occasions Catalog.

They are filled with, what else – Hershey’s Hugs & Kisses of course!

As usual I forgot to take photos during the event, but I did remember to take some before hand so you can see what it was like.
