Grateful Bunch & Count Down to Sale-a-bration

I ran across some great swaps that I haven’t shared with you yet. So over the next week or two I thought I would include them.

Today’s card is from Joanne who was inspired by Kylie’s card, another fellow demonstrator. It’s uses the Grateful Bunch stamp set (140691) from the Occasions Catalog.

Joanne used the colors Pink Pirouette and Smoky Slate and Basic Gray to create this soft lovely card. Lace and butterflies – perfect for spring!

One of the great things about stamping is you don’t have to always have to be creative yourself since you can CASE (copy and share everything!). Or if you prefer get inspired and then change it up – by using the colors or layout and adding your own touch to your card. There aren’t any rules to stamping just those we impose on ourselves – LOL!

Birthday Wishes & Sale-a-bration Countdown!

I feel so blessed to have such wonderful stamping friends. As you may or may not know Sunday was my birthday and my fellow stampers made it extra special this year with their hand stamped cards!

So today I wanted to share some of the wonderful cards that I received for my birthday.

Each and everyone of them is so special – And I appreciate the time my fellow stampers took to create and mail them. How wonderful it was to have a little surprise each day when the mail arrived. Truly my birthday wishes have lasted all week long.

It looks like the #imbringingbirthdaysback campaign that Shannon West began early this year is taking hold. How great is that? Real snail mail, not just a face book message. There is nothing like a hand penned note to make you feel extra special.

Bear Hugs & What I Love

Do you love bears? If so, I think you’ll love this cute card that I received from Marilynn in my recent swap. It uses our Bear Hugs Bundle (140822/140823) found on page 40 of the Occasions Catalog.

This card is perfect for Valentine’s Day since it was teamed up with our Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack. I like the fun addition of the Silver Glimmer Paper for the bow time and skirt too. What do you think?

And this second card is from our exclusive Sale-a-bration selection of stamps. The What I Love stamp set (141276) is a photopolymer set that includes 10 stamps. It is considered a two step stamp since you can build layers of color to create more depth.

Two step stamps are a lot of fun to play with because the color combinations are endless and allow you to create a ton of different looks from just one set of stamps.

Laura used Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant to create this lovely blossom. And can you see the elegant Venetian Crochet Trim (134581) peaking out from behind the Modern Mosaic (129984) embossed layer? What a great way to use this trim!
