Geometrical & New Weekly Deals

Do you enjoy stamping with others? I know I do and I always love going to my friend Kathleen’s monthly meeting and learning new things while spending time with my demonstrator friends.

Today’s project is one that uses the Geometrical stamp set (133158/133161) and Triangle Punch (133375) from the Occasions Catalog.

Geometrical Stamp Divas May 2014

Did you know that the Occasions Catalog ends on Sunday, June 1st? So if there is something that you haven’t gotten yet and want in the Occasions Catalog you’ll want to place your order this week.

Back to the card, this fun card was one of the projects I made during our monthly meeting as a Make ‘n Take. We simply stamped our triangles in the color we wanted, curled the ends with a Bone Folder and attached to a circle to hold them in place before adding it to our card front. The stem is just a scrap and of course this fun greeting is one you’ll find in the Really Good Greetings stamp set (130330/130333).

Want to join in the fun? Have you ever thought about becoming a demonstrator? Want to earn a little extra cash or get a discount – the choice is up to you when you’re a demonstrator, so why not join my TEAM? I’d love to speak with you about it and we’ve got a special promotion starting tomorrow so it is a great time to join.

You can click HERE to learn more about my Team, the Blue Mountain Stampers and joining. Then contact me and I’ll share with you all the details about the special promotion starting on tomorrow, May 28th.

Geometrical Meets Pennant Parade

Pennants are on trend right now and so here is a birthday card that I made for another of those spring birthdays that I told you about.  I told you there were a lot of us born in spring. LOL

Pennant Parade and Geometrical

I really like the way this card turned out and hope my friend will enjoy it too when she receives it in the mail. I think its bright and cheerful and just right for a her spring birthday. And although I picked the Geometrical sentiment for a birthday card this time I think the sentiments in this particular set are pretty versatile for all kinds of occasions.

To get started I chose the Birthday Basics Designer Series Paper to use on the pennants and in turn this helped me choose the colors for the rest of the card. Isn’t it great when you use Designer Series Paper? It makes knowing what colors look great together so easy!

And do you see the Itty Bitty Shapes that I included on the pennants? This set of three punches is currently part of our Weekly Deals and are great for all kinds of different things. They add just the right touch of color when you need it and our Basic Rhinestones add a pop of sparkle!

Want to see another project using another of the items from this week’s Weekly Deals?

Well check out the Gingham Stampin’ Around Wheel used for my next card.

Wildflower Meadow Team Project June 2013

I’ve used the standard sized Gingham Wheel to add a band of color along the lower edge of this all occasions card – and it too is part of our Weekly Deals. Whoo hoo!

Wheels are so easy to use and when you’re using them for a small section like I did here you can just use your Classic Stampin’ Pad. Want to create a longer run with a wheel? Try our Uninked Stampin’ Around Cartridges! They make it easy.

If you’d like to know all the details about this card you can click HERE to see my original post and the supply list.

Well that’s it for today. Come back by tomorrow and I’ll show you the project I’m working on today for Easter.
