Autumn Wooden Elements

Want to add a fun little element to your cards? Why not try the Autumn Wooden Elements found on page 46 in the Holiday Catalog. These are a great deal since you get 36 pieces in the package for just $4.95. I find I’m using them on all kinds of projects!

Today’s card is another clean and simple card I created with the For All Things stamp set. I simply stamped the background image using So Saffron and Tangelo Twist and then used Island Indigo for my sentiment and acorns. I really like this color combination. It’s not so traditional.

Fine Print:

You receive 2 each of the three cards shown. (Designer Series Paper patterns and accessories may vary.)
Card kit includes envelopes, pre-cut card stock and accessories for you to complete your cards. (Adhesives, Glue Dots, and Stampin’ Dimensionals are not included.)
Die cutting and shapes will be punched for you (no stamped images are included). Textured embossing will be done for you, except when stamping first is required. Border punching typically is not include .
The PDF will be emailed to you when kit ships by USPS. Detail instructions are not included. A PDF includes a photo and supply list, along with measurements for each card.
Stamped images are NOT included in the Coffee & Card Kit. This is in compliance to Stampin’ Up! Policies. Don’t have a set? Stamp sets can be purchased in my Online Store or through me directly. You may also substitute similar sized images or sentiments you currently have.

Wondrous Wreath

Love wreaths? Well then you’ve got to get the Wondrous Wreath Bundle (137624) from the Holiday Catalog – It’s so much fun to work worth.

And this stamp set is a photopolymer two-step stamp set so lining up the three layers of the wreath are soooo simple! Want to see how I do it? Why not check out my video tutorial HERE.

For this card I started with the Hardwood Background stamp (133032/133035) which is a great stamp to have on hand. (I really tend to use this a lot for masculine and fall cards. Of course, with my guys in the family who love to woodwork this stamp was a no brainer for me – since I use it for my scrapbooking projects too.)

I love the rich colors you find in our 2014-2016 In Colors so I chose Mossy Meadow as the backdrop for this card and added the Blackberry Bliss berries and bow. I’m seeing this color all over the stores when I’m out – so it’s right on trend.

So what do you think? I’m hoping my family and friends will enjoy receiving this card in the mail next week. And I think the thought is very fitting for today, Veterans Day. For especially on today, I give thanks for all those wonderful service men and women who protect our freedom and our country. I’m sure like myself, you have many family members who have served over the years and have made personal sacrifices to do so. They are a very special group of people our service members!

Fun little note cards…

I love making these fun little 3×3 note cards. They are quick and easy to make and a great way to use up those little pieces of Designer Series Paper that you have laying around.

These note cards I made use some of my Motley Monsters Designer Series paper (135819) that I’ve got left over from my Halloween cards.

Of course, one of my favorite tools are punches. Love, love, love punches. They make things quick and simple and this combination of 1 3/4″ Circle and 2 3/8″ Scallop make a quick and simple focus point for my 3×3 note cards.

So what do you think? Here are a couple of more note cards that I created recently to tuck into my orders.

This last one is made using the Merry Everything stamp set (135068/135071) and it’s coordinating Note Tag Punch (135860). Of course you can get these two items in a money saving Bundle (135860). I used scraps from the Trim the Tree Designer Series Paper Stack (135824) and Crisp Cantalope Thick Baker’s Twine (135636).

Visions of ……

Visions of elk that’s right, that is what I found when I saw this quirky set in the Holiday Catalog on page 29, Visions of Santa (135167). The image reminds me of my son when he was young. (you can click HERE to read about that.)

Really it is an image of a moose, but it is still my favorite image from this set and I wanted to highlight it on my card.

So what do you think? Cute right? I’m thinking this will make a great birthday card for my friend Gary, who loves to go elk hunting.

I’ve been loving our Stampin’ Blendabilities Markers and think they worked great for coloring this guy’s long johns!

Fun Autumn Wooden Elements

Have you seen the fun Autumn Wooden Elements in our Holiday Catalog on page 46? I love these fun little wooden pieces.

Here is a card that I made using the little oak leaf. I love them natural, but thought it would be fun to try and add some color this time. Adding color was really simple to do. I simply grabbed one of my Stampin’ Sponges and sponged. Yep, it was that easy!
