Peaceful Pier

It’s the dog days of summer here in Georgia and the heat it relentless, but that doesn’t stop the summer time fun, it just slows it down and allows us to enjoy the little things. Like nature.

The Peaceful Pier stamp set (165331) catches this feel perfectly with it’s images.

And the set has some lovely sentiments letting someone know you’re thinking about them. Check out today’s card using this set. Done in warm tones of Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, and Crushed Curry.

A simple masking technique using our Blending Brushes and Daffodil Delight and Crushed Curry create the sun. Simply punch out the 2 3/8″ Circle Punch (161354) from our Masking Paper (155480) A bit of classic ink and our Clear Wink of Stella (141897) adds some color and sparkle to the ground below.

Quite striking, right?

This paper is filled with lovely images and fun impressionistic patterns perfect for mixing and matching on projects.

Textured Notes

The Textured Notes Bundle (Online Exclusive 165556) is one of those bundles that has great images that have lots of depth and a fun set of versatile dies.

Today’s card is done in shades of Midnight Muse and Gray Granite.

The texture is carried though out the card since the Textured Notes (Online Exclusive 165555) also have some texture around the outer edges that is built in. The Country Woods Designer Series Paper (163393) gives this background a worn natural feel that works perfectly with the images, Pressed Flower Motifs (165215), and Cloud Cover 3/8″ Faux Linen Ribbon (165271).

Stepping it up with Peaceful View

Today’s cards use the lovely Peaceful View Stamp (165310) and a simple technique using our Blending Brushes (153611 or 160518) to add color.

Today’s first card has been stamped using our Memento Tuxedo Black (132708/133456) onto Basic White card stock.

Some Cajun Craze was added to be image using the Blending Brush. The sentiment was stamped and punched our using the Labeled with Love Punch (163569) and a second piece was punched out using Basic Black card stock to layer it on. It has a Basic Black card base .

Stepping it up – This next card adds a some additional layers of color. This time the image was stamped using Secret Sea Classic Ink onto Very Vanilla Card stock giving it a warmer feel.

Crushed Curry, Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush, and Timid Tiger have been used and blended to create a dramatic sky with lots of depth. Layers of Timid Tiger and Darling Duckling have been used to mat the image on the Secret Sea Card base and some of the clear gems from the Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems (Online Exclusive 165615) have been added for a bit of shine and sparkle.

Same image different color choices and layers. Whether you like to keep it simple or step it up this stamp is a fun one to work with it’s landscape image. What do you think?

More than Autumn

A quick little strip of Basic White stamped with the sentiment has also been punched out with the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch (Online Exclusive 119850) and then layered on top of the foil. Easy peazy, right? And some fun little Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gems (Online Exclusive 165615) add a bit more texture and shine with their gold foiling.

Coneflower Celebrations

Do you love movement cards or pop up elements? If so the Coneflower Celebrations Bundle (162251) a great choice for your collection.

Filled with some wonderful year round sentiments and great images the Dies give you lots of options and allow you to create projects with movement. Check out these two cards made with the bundle.

This first card uses a color pallet inspired by nature. Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends have been used to color the bloom.

Old Olive and Mossy Meadow have been used for the leaves and the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (161600) has been used for the background. It’s been distressed with some Pecan Pie Classic Ink and a Blending Brush. This card has lots of texture. And this next card has a completely different feel to it.

Bright and cheerful since the abstract pattern from the Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper (Online Exclusive 164638) has been used as a background and the Summer Splash has been pulled out with the Summer Splash 3/8″ Bordered Ribbon (Online Exclusive 163786).

Open the Darling Duckling Coneflower to find the greeting inside.

Fun right? This die which has the “hinge” can be all kinds of ways.

Soft & Lovely Natural Botanicals

Today’s cards are monochromatic cards using the Natural Botanicals stamp set (164831) and our Cloud Cover 2025-2027 In Color.

This first card uses our Glass & Gardens Embossing Folder (Online Exclusives 165597) and 2025-2027 In Color Designer Series Paper (165299) to create a background full of texture.

The Designer Series Paper was first attached to the Basic White Card stock and then run the the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss to give a “quilting” effect. The Textured Notes Dies (Online Exclusive 165555) have been used to cut out and layer the image. And a few of our 2025-2027 In Color Flat Pearls (165192) and you have a simply elegant card.

This next card uses the technique again with the Dotted Circles 3D Embossing Folder (163789) this time with Basic Beige Card stock. It also uses the same Dies to cut out the image along with the embellishments but has a very different feel to.

The image has been stamped using Versa Mark for a tone on tone look and Antique Pearls (164679) have been added to the panel.

The Natural Botanicals stamp set is a special Reversibles stamp that allows you to use both sides of the stamp for two step stamping. While these two cards do not use the solid image or two step with it the Reversibles stamp gives you double the images to give you greater versatility for your projects. You’ll see our special sets that have this option shown with both the front and back side highlighted in the image.

Sunrise Sailing

The summer makes me think of time at the lake as a child. Watching the boats go by and the waves come in. I miss Lake Michigan and the easy drive to beach and the feel of driving down Lake Shore Drive as a teenager with friends in a convertible and the wind blowing my hair. Or the fireworks on the 4th with all those boats out on the water under the bursts of color. So today’s Sunrise Sailing Bundle (Online Exclusive 165497) cards make me think of those carefree days of my youth and those wonderfully elegant boats out on the water.

This Bundle has a wonderful Hybrid Embossing Folder that allows you to add some wonderful texture to images and dies. Check out these two cards made with this bundle.

This first card uses some simple stamping and a bit of color brushed across the embossed image to create a relaxing monochromatic card.
