Homemade Treats

It’s that time of year and I’m baking! I love to bake this time of year and listening to Bing croon. Baking Christmas cookies has been a life long tradition that started with my mom and grandma when I was a child. I’ve passed that tradition on to my children when they were young. My children started by sitting on the counter next to me and helping to pour in the ingredients and of course decorate the cookies. They are all grown up now of course, but my son still loves to stop in and help me with his favorites. lol

So today’s Homemade Treats Bundle (Online Exclusive 166017) brings back special memories for me.

Check out today’s card using the bundle. The sentiment has been stamped in Gray Granite and die cut using the Peace on Earth Dies (Last Chance 165924) and then layered on to the dry embossed Old Olive panel using the coordinating embossing folder, Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder (165928) that adds interest to the background.

The cookie sheet has a fun sheen to it that has been created with packing tape that has been added to the card stock before it has been cut out. And of course a little pop of color ahs been added with the Dear Dots (165848) sprinkled around the card.

Fun, right? If you haven’t already checked out our Online Exclusive products be sure to stop by my Online Store since you won’t find these products in any of our catalogs.

North Pole Delivery

Love little animals? Check out the North Pole Delivery Suite (Last Chance 165850) it’s filled with cute little animals along with a fun 3d die too.

Today’s card uses the cute little bear to send a message of cheer.

Done in Poppy Parade and Pool Party is has a retro feel. The fun little Dear Dots (165848) and Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder (161600) add some texture to the card.

And of course isn’t it fun when the Designer Series Paper is able to be cut out using the dies? No fussy cutting and this allows for quick projects with less stamping or coloring. Today’s card simply colors the bear and gifts using Stampin’ Blends and pulls the color pallet from the North Pole Delivery Designer Series Paper (Last Chance 165837).
