Under the Moon

It’s the lazy days of summer and I’m dreaming about the beach, how about you? I have always loved the water and watching the waves roll in. Lake Michigan was a great place to go in the summer as a teen as it was always cooler on the water. The Under the Moon stamp set (163531) makes me think of those lazy summer nights with my friends.

Check out these lovely cards using this stamp set. The first card uses some simple heat embossing with our Metallic Wow! Embossing Powders (165678) to create a back drop of stars.

The Layering Leaves stamp set (161277) has a perfect image for this and the Night of Navy & Gold Glittered Ribbon (162011) adds another pop of gold. Recognize the sentiment? It’s from our Unbounded Love Stamp set (163378), since this is an image only set you can choose your favorite sentiment set to go with it! And I hope you can see it but the moon has been cut out with our Stylish Shapes Dies (159183) that have a lovely stitched edging to highlight it.

This next card has a tropical feel to it since it uses our In Color, Summer Splash and the Perennial Postage Dies (162607).

Don’t you love the little dolphins?

Same stamp set, very different looks and feel. It’s one of the things I love about stamping – so easy to change things up with just a bit of color!

Sketched Butterflies

If you love butterflies you’ll want to be sure to check out our Sketched Butterflies Bundle (163492) that is found on page 68 of our Annual Catalog.

This bundle is filled with images and sentiments that can be used for all occasions. And the Sketched Butterflies Dies (163491) has some wonderful detailed butterflies dies too in addition to the ones that will cut out stamped images.

Check out these lovely cards today done in our Blueberry Bushel using this Bundle. This first card teams up the set with our shinny Gold Foil Sheets (132622)

Simple stamping is used for the background and sentiment. The Spotlight on Nature Dies (163580) help create the focal point and highlight the butterflies detailed die and the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder (163414) adds a bit of texture.

This next card uses the Winter Meadow Designer Series Paper (162133) and Perennial Postage Dies (162607)

for the background. The butterfly has been stamped in Blueberry Bushel and colored with our Lost Lagoon Stampin’ Blends. The sentiment has been Heat Embossed using our Basics Wow! Embossing Powder (165679). Our embossing powders are a fun technique that allow sentiments and images to pop on our darker shades of card stock. And the little Adhesive Backed Trio Pearls (163319) add a bit of subtle shine to the project.

Sale-a-bration’s Cradled in Love

This stamp set is perfect to create wonderful products for those who are expecting a wonderful bundle of joy in their lives. Check out these two cards using this stamp set. While both cards our soft and sweet Bubble Bath for their jumping off point they have different feel to them. This first card uses a combination of Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie to create a soft natural look.

The back ground has been dry embossed with the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder (Sale-a-bration 162947) which is part of another Sale-a-bration Bundle.

The embossing has been done on only part of the layer so that you have texture, but the texture creates the illusion of a wall and floor. The crib has been fussy cut and popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals. while the sentiment has been die cut using our Perennial Postage Dies (162607). A bit of color has been added to the texture with our Blending Brushes (153611) and a bit of shimmer with the Iridescent Foil Gems (162842).

And today’s final card uses the Lighter than Air Designer Series Paper (162747) for a soft subtle background of stripes. The image has once again been colored with our Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends.

But this time Lost Lagoon has been teamed up with Daffodil Delight and Soft Sea Foam. The lovely ribbon, Pretty Peacock & Gold 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon (162588) adds a pop of bold color and shine.

So what do you think? Girl or Boy? There are just 17 days left of Sale-a-bration, so you’ll want to come back daily to see all the products I’ll be highlight that you can earn for FREE.
